Offering a flat-screen TV, every room is styled in refined wood furnishings and shades of blue, cream and bright white accents. Bedside chocolates are provided in the evenings. Select rooms feature a full or partial ocean view at Blue Dolphin Inn.

Review 1：Even though we signed in and paid for three adults, we were short on towels, coffee, robes/slippers. Not sure where the communication breakdown occurred. Also, the TV didn't work (actually found out a remote was missing all along, on the last evening). Breakfast was "okay" but for one of us a little challenging because of food allergies. Not good options in that regard.
Review 2：The location was perfect. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly (only if we engaged them).
Review 3：I understand the conditions of the severe drought but I wish there was a more detailed recycling set up. A lot of plastic is being used in the town and businesses in order not to use water. Recycling was set up but we weren't sure what was allowable recycling.

Staff were very friendly, and even though we arrived late, helped us find a nearby restaurant (walking distance) where we could have a couple cocktails after a long, beautiful day of driving along the cliffs of Big Sur. I was skeptical of how breakfast in a box would be, but it was tasty and so nice to carry across the street to the shore. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Review 11：When we arrived our greeting was very personal unlike large hotel chains. It was so genuine that they were happy to have us. The location was great. We felt like we could touch the ocean from our room. The amenities were very comfortable. I can't say enough positive things about Blue Dolphin!

Review 16：No air conditioning. The weather had been very hot and the room was very hot and stuffy. Also, the shower was hopeless. The water saving shower head gave out a fine spray of water which spread water everywhere but on you.

The breakfast was really great - it comes delivered to your room at the time you choose. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and they left a little cake in our room for us. So nice!! Review 23：Room has no air and only one window opens to let in the ocean breeze. Fan was provided but room was hot. Rented a room with two (2) queen beds for my wife, daughter and I. Night manager wanted to charge extra for more than two people. Why the hell else would I pay extra for two queen beds?

Review 40：Extremely expensive. Hotel has 2 'Standard King' rooms, both right next to the lobby with views of the parking lot. The hotel was located within Cambria's 'Hotel Row' and did not seem to offer anything special worthy of the $160 that we paid. They treat people who did not book directly poorly. There was a guest book in the room that referred to guests 'soothing ocean views' which implied that they took the book from another nicer room to the parking lot room. Also, our room was a little smelly as though the door hadn't been opened in a while. Unless you are paying $80-$100, we don't recommend.

Review 58：Our complaints were minor: housekeeping staff did not replenish our toiletries. The front desk manager upon our arrival was let's say lacking in social skills and warmth. The room we had initially reserved really had no Oceanview at all.
