Reviews for Globus Hotel
Review 1:Marina who welcomed us to the hotel was warm and friendly. She was accommodating and made us a snack when we arrived late. She introduced us to local facilities and facilitated a tour of the city via taxi. She made our holiday memorable. A big thank you to her and your company.
Review 2:We had an early start the following morning and unfortunately the shower was cold!
Review 3:Very friendly staff, close to train station, nice big room
Review 4:It was located a bit far from the centre of town.
Review 5:The warmest and friendliest welcome anywhere in a Russian Hotel! Thestaff were extremely helpful.
Review 6:You can hardly call this a hotel, more private bed and breakfast. I hadto take of my shoes at the entrance and wear slippers ( at least newones that they gave) This is not convenient and does not at all belongto a place that pretends to be a hotel!!!! Bathroom extremely small.Surroundings of the hotel ugly and not inviting at all. Too expensivefor what they offer.
Review 7:Friendly people.Good parking place
Review 8:Location. If you haven't a car it will be difficult to find the place.
Review 9:Very frendly staff. Exellent wi-fi. Cosy bed. When you come in you musttake off your shoes - it's very unusual, but right. Filling like youcome home.
Review 10:I had an amazing stay here. It's run by a daughter, mother, and grandmother, who all go out of their way to make you feel at home. Alyona, the owner, speaks perfect English, and has lots of great stories to entertain you with, as well as tips on navigating the city and planning a day trip. Truly nice, welcoming people. Wish I could've stayed longer.
Review 11:Friendly staff, helpful far beyond the necessary; family atmosphere; breakfast brilliant, made very welcome and it felt more like a homestay than a hotel. Can't praise it highly enough.
Review 12:The Hotel was great! I was there with my girlfriend for 3 nights! Thereare only 4 rooms, which was great for a nice atmosphere. The owner spokeperfect English and was more than willing to help arrange outings andmaking suggestions on what to see. Breakfast was always great and makewhen ever you wanted it. If you want a room for a decent price, and tonot feel like your just another room number this is the place to stay!
Review 13:The only thing, the bathroom is small and there is limited space on thesink - but since one typically doesn't spend much time there, everythingwas great!
Review 14:The Hotel: We just got back from spending 10 nights at the Globus MiniHotel. This is an excellent property for being a mini/budget hotel. Itis very clean, and the staff is english speaking, extremely friendly andhelpful (especially Alyonna) and the location is awesome. Very safe too,the parking lot and building is gated with a security guard. Breakfastis included, and they do offer limited menu dinner service. We did havePelmeni the first evening, which was very tasty. We did not eatbreakfast there, we preferred to go to the Vivat supermarket just offthe main road. The staff was very welcoming and we were offered tea eachtime we came back to the hotel. I recommend the Globus. The price isoutstanding! You are able to use some fridge space (it was winter, so weused the enclosed balcony that was attached to the room) and they have amicrowave. Also plates and utensils as needed.
