Reviews for 320 Guest Ranch
Review 1:Great property, plenty to do and facilities great, restaurant very good. Used this as a base for Yellowstone, could have chosen somewhere closer but well worth the extra drive.
Review 2:We really found the whole experience very nice, but wish it was closer to Yellowstone.
Review 3:The setting in the mountains was beautiful. We enjoyed the rustic nature of the cabin.
Review 4:The bed was okay, but we got a queen and not a king - but that may have been my fault. The bedding appeared to be older? The internet was poor. The person at the front desk was not very helpful, nor did they try very hard to accommodate us.
Review 5:The food was excellent and the wait staff very friendly and good. We had an excellent dinner and the breakfast was good.
Review 6:Jacuzzi is only offered to 18yrs old+, I didn't get to enjoy them with 2 kids traveling with us.
Review 7:Very satisfying breakfast. Ribeye Steak was to die for. Campfire request was granted with no hesitation, kids enjoyed s'mores in wilderness.
Review 8:The internet was horrible. They might have not have had it at all.
Review 9:It was very clean. The décor, quaint and rustic. The breakfast was the best we have come across. There was a Keurig Coffee maker in our room. Employees are hard working, efficient and friendly.
Review 10:Location was further than expected from Yellowstone and also further from the main part of Big Sky. Restaurant was nice but pricey, actually more expensive than Jackson Hole.
Review 11:We liked the cabins, privacy, and river. The maintenance man was very helpful and nice.
Review 12:2 of the 3 mornings, breakfast was awful. Burnt sausage, raw potatos, that reappeared the next morning and then no meat at all the third morning.
Review 13:Nice place with great rooms
Review 14:No WIFI or Internet connection. A bit far from the city.
Review 15:Great location, very quiet, very nice people. The view is gorgeous, and the steak was awesome.
Review 16:It was a far (but beautiful!) drive to Yellowstone's west entrance (30-40 minutes).
Review 17:The breakfast was amazing! The drive out to the cabin was lovely (saw a wolf, bear, and moose). The cabin was perfect for 4 people - much larger than normal hotel rooms!
Review 18:nothing!
Review 19:I liked that we rolled in late, after driving icy/snowy roads in the dark, almost hitting a moose, and arriving late at the Guest Ranch, had to wake up someone to register and lead us to our guest room-and that person was WONDERFUL!!! I wish I knew her name-but I believe she was an angel!
Review 20:Price was a bit high, GPS couldn't find location, a little further from Yellowstone West entrance than advertised (about 45-50 minutes).
Review 21:Well appointed cabins. Great hot breakfast.
Review 22:A little further from west yellowstone than we expected. Could use heater in bathroom.
Review 23:Food good. Comfortable rooms. Clean. excellant area for hikers. We felt blessed..in a retreat atmosphere.
Review 24:If I stay at the 320 ranch again I would probably upgrade to a stand alone cabin. We stayed in a duplex cabin and unfortunately the guests one the other side of the common wall would start coming to life around 10:00 pm. Apparently there's very little in the way of sound proofing between the walls so actual conversations could be heard.
Review 25:The close proximity to Big Sky & relatively close (30+ miles) proximity to Yellowstone NP is definitely an advantage. The Gallatin NP is beautiful & awe inspiring.
Review 26:Distance to next town more than 1 hour one way. Too cautious handling of the riding group before the ride. As (experienced) riders, we felt like a heard of dumb sheep. Not allowed to go near the horses, arms lenght distance for climbing the horses, etc. Also compared to 3 other horse rides in Montana and Wyoming that we did, too extreme.
Review 27:New and luxorious deluxe cabin. Extremely friendly and helpful staff at reception and in the authentic and cosy restaurant and bar. Good horses, friendly wranglers.
Review 28:Cabins could use a little updating.
Review 29:Easy access to Yellowstone and Big Sky Montana for activities. Comfortable river front cabins, great breakfast, beautiful views, horses, nightly bondfire.
Review 30:Scenic and beautiful property. Nice balance of privacy and opportunities to mix/meet others. Fun and relaxed atmosphere with activities such as the bbq at the river, throwing a fishing line into the pond, and fireside seating in the evening. Clean laundry room and great dining available without having to drive anywhere.
Review 31:Really enjoyed our stay at 320 Guest Ranch-only had 2 nights and wished it was longer. Well-appointed rooms with lots of space and very comfortable. Best breakfasts we had in our 2 weeks of travel. We also had dinner here and the food was excellent. Great location-had fun rafting on the Gallatin river. Wish we had time to do some pack riding too.
Review 32:Great location which is close to Yellowstone West Gate / downtown. Great cabin for group of 10 and the deal that came with daily hot breakfast is a plus, good foods.
Review 33:If you visit the yellowstone park, it is a little bit far away, almost 40 miles to the west gate. There's no hot water cooker in the room.
Review 34:The cottages are charming, nice and big room, good wifi, hot breakfast.
Review 35:The setting was spectacularly beautiful. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. There were plenty of activities available to participate in on the ranch.
Review 36:These are nit pics: room rate and food prices. We are always looking for a deal but realize the ranch is expensive to run. Overall food quality was very good, but wish they offered half orders. You know what that means
Review 37:The location of this ranch is over the top beautiful in the Gatallin Gateway area half way between West Yellowstone and Bozeman. Nice cabins and rooms on the ranch. The resturant and Saloon held to the Western theme. Food was good and the staff was friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Review 79:The beds are too hard
Review 80:The staff , the size of the rooms, the food
Review 81:The 35 to 40 minute drive to Yellowstone park each day.
Review 82:We enjoyed the rustic charm of the log cabin which had. nevertheless, all the comforts you would desire. Loved the inclusive breakfasts and the good food in the on site restaurant where we chose to dine for two evenings.
Review 83:The toilet was leaking and created small noise all night long. The second nite we informed the staff and was not fixed until we left after staying three days there. The location was quite far from the West gate.
Review 84:Generally, we like the resort
Review 85:No internet service -- but that was a function of location, so it's a trade-off when you want to "get away".
Review 86:Roomy and comfortable. Very laid back. Also, one of the few lodgings that actually give you plenty of towels! Real fireplace with wood and sawdust right on the porch. The view of the sky is amazing. There was very little light pollution from the main area.
Review 87:Our second trip there. Described best as an guest ranch with all the trimmings. Great staff, beautiful place just outside the West Gate of Yellowstone. Try it you will like it.
Review 88:The 320 Ranch is in a beautiful location along the Gallatin River, notfar from Yellowstone National Park. Our cabin was charming, clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Made us all think about a winter outing whenwe could easily cook a turkey in the little oven while cross-countryskiing. We also enjoyed delicious food and drinks at the restaurant andbar; the bar tender was exceptionally gracious. It was a perfectovernight stay. Wish it could have been longer.
Review 89:It's a bit of a drive to get back to the center of Yellowstone. Butwe enjoyed the ranch setting enough to cut Yellowstone short by a dayand do some activities there
Review 90:Rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly. My young daughtertook a riding lesson and the instructor did a great job teaching andcommunicating with a 7 year old.
Review 91:None!
Review 92:The employees were very friendly and accomodating, the facility was clean, green, serene, and family friendly. Our experience was very memorable and fun. Thank you so much!
Review 93:Just wished the food was a little better....but of littleconsequence overall.
Review 94:Beautiful, surrounded by mountains, relaxing, close to Yellowstone(about 30 miles). It was sold out when we were there, but no sense ofcrowds at all. We went on a horseback ride which was beyond expectationin beauty. Can't say enough!
Review 95:We didn't get to stay long, arrived late, and left early. It wasclean and nicely decorated with everything we needed. We would love togo back and do some of the activities offered. Staff seemed friendly.
Review 96:The dinner prices added up quickly for a larger family, although thefood was wonderful.
Review 97:We loved everything! The cabins were large, comfortable and clean. Thelocation was convenient for accessing Big Sky (12 miles) or evenYellowstone (50 miles). There were great outdoor activities for theentire family to enjoy. The trail ride and dinner by the river is not tobe missed! The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was deliciousand included in the lodging fee. Hope to get back again soon.
Review 98:When we booked on Book.com, my husband did not read that the dining roomwas not opened yet. We had read that the food wasgreat................but we went just before the season started. Thestaff appoligized, and was wondering why it wasn't on the Book.cominfo......
Review 99:It was a great place. We loved our cabin. Beautiful views and scenery.Got to see some animals on the drive to and from Yellowstone. We stayedjust before the "season" started and I am really glad we did.Staff was great. Would stay there again.
Review 100:Their diner was closed and horse back riding was not available. I would have stayed somewhere else if I had checked their website.
Review 101:Very clean and private.
Review 102:The location was a little bit far from West Yellowstone, however, the scenery was worth the drive.
Review 103:Beautiful scenery, cleanliness, comfortable, quietness, All my family like it. In addition, I would use Booking.Com again and again for their excellent service.
Review 104:No security available after hours. Unable to sleep between 1135 pm and 5 am do to our outrageously drunk neighbors who were also smoking pot( our adjoining cabin wreaked of it) and Meth. Our stay was a complete disaster. We tried the 320 for a change but will take our business back to Chico Hot Springs.
Review 105:the cabin.
Review 106:The first nite the heater didn't work, but the event coordinator moved us to another room..
Review 107:The meal and the staff we met - all great folks. the event coordinator, chef, bartender, etc were wonderful
Review 108:I liked that if you did not want room service you could get money back to use at the ranch since you saved on cleaning costs. I thought that was a great, green incentive. I only wished I would have had more time at the ranch to use the money.
