Review 2：Close to the bank of. An excellent restaurant with nice jazz just across the road.. Close to good fortress to have a look at. My room was wonderfully compact with absolutely everything needed.
Review 3：Parking in the street. No large sign out front. No common area for a group to sit together, except the dining room maybe.

Review 7：This was my first time at Kaptensvillan, since they are new to Booking.com and I hadn't heard of it before. The owner was super friendly and helped me out even though I had some adjustments to my booking. The garden is beautiful and it's so close to Kalmar Castle and has a great athmosphere. The room was great, clean, airy and bright (the blinds worked as expected during the night time). The owner asked me what time I wanted breakfast, and had set a table for me in the morning. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Kalmar! Oh, did I mention that the price is low, and I would never stay at one of the big brand hotels in Kalmar since they charge up to double the price.
