Reviews for Constance Ephélia
Review 1:I ddnt like that there was nothing not to like.
Review 2:Staff were very friendly , excellent atmosphere , perfect room with a garden view , relaxing spa and beach. Delicious buffet . Overall my opinion is this a superb hotel.
Review 3:Some small minus (-) . I mention them because you expect everything to be above excellent if you pay more than 2k per day for your villa. a) Breakfast is far below expectations for such an expensive luxury hotel. It is like a 4* hotel i could say. Very few fruits and only orange and apple juice while in a tropical island !! b) All Restaurants are extremely expensive for what you get c) Avoid Central Restaurant Corossol . Buffet quality is average and it is very massive and crowded d) Service in the Restaurants and Bars below expectations e) Terrible wifi quality !!! f) They ask for long trousers and shirt for dinner time witch with 30 degrees is not always pleasant g)Sea Water is not so clear and it is very hot
Review 4:We stayed in Costance Ephelia for 3 nights between 31/12/15 and 3/01/16 in a Spa Villa. The hotel is located in the best place of the island of Mahe surrounded by a tropical forest. The area is huge so the hotel is divided in 2 sections . The North one where all villas and 2 of the restaurants Cyan and Seselwa are and the South part where most Suites and the other 3 restaurants are located. The only swimmable beach is the North one . The view is amazing but water is not so clear and it is very hot . The distance between the North and the South part is not walkable so either you have to call a buggy or you can use the shuttle buggy witch is an excellent service the hotel offers as it runs continually and there are clearly marked stations. Spa villa is amazing, Better than you could ever dream. Finally the location , the surrounding forest , the gardens and the villas are so exceptional that it is still the best pick for me in Seychelles
Review 5:- the food and beverages offer was inferiour ... like in a 3 star hotel - just a mass-tourism offering; truly nothing distinctive about it - the 'so called junior suite' was an unattractive, small double room, with no ambience - one touch service number and readiness to attend to customers was offen not responded.
Review 6:Poor quality of any differents restaurants. 180€ the lobster menu for the tail of it. Ridiculous overprice. Pigeons everywhere in the breakfast and buffet area. Apparently by law they can't do anything, so please be advised you have to share your table with pigeons. They never filled up the mini bar tin the room. Towels were dirty almost everyday. There were plastic tents almost everywhere in the hotel, so it was looking like a camping. Really far from a 5star hotel Constance. They are taking advantage of the isolatate situation.
Review 7:Really good location, and one of the nicest beach of mahe island
Review 8:Check in was far too long. This took approximately 40 minutes from entering the hotel to getting to the room. Dress code policy for men is ridiculous expecting long trousers in a tropical location for evening dining in all restaurants, it made sitting outside very uncomfortable for my husband.
Review 9:Perfect staff we enjoyed our staying their ... It is recommended more for families than couples Perfect facilities and they have various restaurants from different cultures Every thing was perfect
Review 10:great hotel and service, food. what has this hotel is a world-class service, the hotel manager, chef, cooks are people with passion. staff where we felt the holidays of Christmas at home. real beaches and the hotel itself is fantastically located. Seychelles spectacular number one :))
Review 11:Exhobirtant prices for food with few exception food quality is not good room service very slow lower staff not very friendly and not pro-active rooms have too many things that did not work and needed several follow ups
Review 12:Excellent facilities , good choice of restaurants, caring higher management
Review 13:Overall it was pleasant experience, however there is nothing extraordinary for the money you pay. Everyone expects that you cover their cost and provide them good living, whilst they are not working very hard. I.e. taxi ride is EUR 70, water is almost USD10 per 1L, as well as cup of coffee over dinner; there are no drinks included with the HB option, so you have no choice. There are no shuttles offered by the hotel; you can only book expensive car ride or taxi. All services are charged extra. Spa treatments prices are outrageous. I am sorry, how special can be manicure/pedicure for EUR150? Zip line was expensive too, however at least very nice and not widely available. Rock climbing is costly. Buffet dinner we had at local themed restaurant for additional supplement wasn't great at all. As we travel a lot and stay generally in 5* hotels. this one is most definitely overpriced.Staff is generally friendly, but needs extra reminders or repeated requests to do the job; i.e. we had to place request to clean our room as it wasn't in spite of the sign on the door side. Our tennis court booking was not taken correctly; we had to rebook. Getting extra knifes during dinner was always an issue. After main stream of guests left (we stayed over UAE public holidays period), there was almost no staff available during breakfast and getting pot of coffee was a problem. The resort is spread over a large territory, so we had to walk a lot as buggies were either unavailable or full. It is fine to walk, however sun sometimes was an issue as we did not want to get burned. There is no iron and iron board in the room. The items, which were eventually sent to the room were in very poor condition. The was dress code for restaurants, however men wearing shorts and sleeveless tops were never stopped by the staff. Well, the rule should be for everyone or it should not be there.
Review 14:Nice beaches; the premises are large and it is not too crowded even when the occupancy is high. Not difficult to reach from the airport, just a taxi ride. Rooms are spacious, nicely designed. Good variety of dishes in the main restaurant, available at any time of dining period. Tennis and squash courts. Zip line experience was great too. Nice jewellery boutique by the villas entrance side. Drinking water was provided free of charge.
Review 15:Food was above-average and expensive; US$65 for appetizer+beer+pizza, c'mon.
Review 16:The hotel, the hotel grounds, the rooms (Junior and Senior Suites) the beaches, the scenery... absolutely beautiful. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Amazing Spa!
Review 17:Staff was very poor. We never had our room decorated with anything as our friends had it every day. 5 out of 7 days I had to call to ask for water which we never had after coming from beach. They never took a note to correct themselves. They had forgot we are on honeymoon and made me send again the marriage settificate after we had already arrived.. Tried to cheat with the euro rate on checking out even though it was already booked at a certain amount of eur through booking.com. Overall didn't have a pleased stay and last two days we only wanted to leave.
Review 18:The food was delicious, fresh, good variety. Pools everywhere.
Review 19:Attitude to charge for anything and everything. Availability of internal transfer carts and food choices could be improved. Most irritating fact was the insistence to wear 'elegant casual' meaning full trousers and shirts for Dinner service. Resort management seems to have misplaced understanding of 'elegance' especially in context of hot/humid weather and being a beach resort.
Review 20:North beach is an excellent beach for the resort residents. Non motorized Water sports facilities are decent.
Review 21:Liked everything about the resort....would highly recommend it to anyone....,make the most of your stay at the resort...staff nice and helpful and also the shuttle service was excellent.
Review 22:The structure is too huge for our liking, having just stayed at Constance Lemuria, which was amazing, it seemed like a holiday camp and was not very pleasant. We only stayed one night but that was enough.
Review 23:The location is quite beautiful and the room was nice with a comfortable bed.
Review 24:Mini bar needs to be filled every day
Review 25:If you take senior suite that is the perfect chiice. Staffmembers were awsome. Location is like paradise. Food was excellent. I highky recommend this eden on Earth. Best vacation ever
Review 26:Being a completely captive audience and everything being over-priced (even by Seychelles standards). The "junior suite" is in fact a room and not really a suite.
Review 27:The beaches. The food.
Review 28:Service quality is very very patchy both in terms of speed and staff attitude - and simply cannot be justified at these prices
Review 29:good sized rooms and bathrooms very kind friendly beach Price includes snorkelling and kayaking equipment
Review 30:Everything, and I mean literally everything, is charged extra. Example: if you order an already ridiculously expensive stir-fry entree in the asian a-la-carte restaurant, you are charged for a tiny bowl of rice to eat with it (the waiter will inform you about this when the rice is already on your table, its not in the menu card). Tap water is fine to drink according to the hotel info map, yet the restaurants refuse to serve any, not even with a super expensive bottle of wine, you have to go for a 10 dollar bottle of spring water.... etc. etc. All in all, this puts off everyone (even the private jet folks residing in the hillside villas) and is incredibly petty even for a resort like this. Fellow guests are not always well-mannered and some staff seemed kind of bugged out at times; however, friendliness towards the staff was always reciprocated.
Review 31:beautiful location with gorgeous beaches, well-kept grounds and very clean rooms, good breakfast buffet
Review 32:Not a bad experience as such, but having booked a 3 bed villa to sleep 5 or 6 (which was lovely) it was perplexing that there were less glasses, cups etc for the number of people, although extras were provided on request.
Review 33:A real relaxing stay. Staff went the extra mile to be helpful and make a family get together and birthday celebration special.
Review 34:The welcoming was disappointing except SASHA from Russia that trying her best to please us in order to cheng our room to that we requested . The manager was not costumer friendly. For example we need only 20 min late checkout but is rejected . We have great regret of choosing this hotel
Review 35:The hotel location is excellent . North beach is beautiful .
Review 36:Quite slow internet connection, definitely to be improved.
Review 37:Very very big wonderful hotel with 2 beaches, lot of activities, very nice restaurants, we liked it very much!!
Review 38:Price of drinks and food is dissporportionaly expensive comparing to other places
Review 39:The place is ran perfectly. From the check-in to the check-out there wasn't a sigle time where there was an issue or we had to wait for something. Who ever designed this place was a genious.
Review 40:Prices are high, even high considering that we are in Seychelles. Honeymoon pack arrived 5 days after our check in (our last day) and after several calls to reception asking for it. The wine bottle the promised never came...
Review 41:This is the best hotel I have ever been. Great rooms. Great views to the beach and also to the mountain. Great 5 restaurants!! Great and lot of service. 2 almost private beaches. 5 pools. Shuttle service each 5-10 minutes.
Review 42:Staff professionalism is not what you would expect at a 5 star hotel. Would have been nice to have a fruit basket in the room. Rooms advertised as 2 adults and 2 kids but way to small for 2 children. 45 mins away from airport and road is so windy, those suffering from motion sickness surely cannot handle it, it took us 3 hours to recover from the car trip!
Review 43:beautiful scenery, many different beach spots so people are not crowded into one beach. babysitting service provided by hotel at one of the most reasonable costs i have seen in hotels. Times flexible. All shuttle service drivers were very courteous and friendly.
Review 44:Exchange rate @ the hotel is terrible! Payed 50€ extra ....
Review 45:Fantastic food & staff! Rooms are fantastic! Expectations were high and the experience exceded them!
Review 46:two restaurants weren't so good but theres 6 restaurants in the hotel so anyone can find something
Review 47:the staff is amazing so kind to everybody, this is heaven for sure !!!! the food was good , rooms are perfect
Review 48:The service element of 50% of staff was way below standards of a 5 star hotel. Requests made and concerns raised were not addressed till I put my foot down and requested for a manager to intervene.
Review 49:Great location, good property
Review 50:In-house activities are a tad bit expensive though. Disappointed with the housekeeping. It really needs to improve and quicken. I understand it is a big resort but they need to avoid small mistakes.
Review 51:Overall the resort was fantastic. North beach is perfect for relaxation. South beach is a bit rougher (Its a 45 minute ride from the airport - taxi should cost about EUR 50/- or SR 600/-).
Review 52:The service at the restaurants could be improved considering the class of the hotel. A smile goes a long way in addition to being more attentive to the guests. The food and drinks are very expensive and the remote location of the hotel leaves you with little choice but to pay for it. The quality of the food is pretty average for the ridiculous prices that are charged even if you are on the half board package.
Review 53:The north beach is really lovely and although it is a public beach, we found it to be quite private with the majority of the guests being from the hotel. The forest garden and hiking trails are gorgeous with a number of outdoor activities available such as the zipline and bicycle rental. The spa facilities are are excellent with very friendly and professional staff.
Review 54:Expensive (especially drinks). One bad meal (unfortunately on the first night) ---- but thereafter the meals were excellent and the staff very apologetic. As the resort is open to the public and animals, a strong smell of cat urine at one restaurant and on our patio. As it rained permanently after the first two days of our honeymoon, we abandoned Ephelia and flew to Dubai for some sun. The weather is of course out of their control, but when it rains there's nothing at all to do (unless you're on your honeymoon of course). The heating equipment for the spa was broken and awaiting replacement.
Review 55:The friendliness of the staff. The location (potentially). The quality of the food (with one exception). The north beach (potentially).
Review 56:Pathetic management of the hotel. The GM and complete staff revamp is needed. The staffs are always growning. The bartender had rejected my request for Ketchup because the kitchen is too far.
Review 57:its a good property
Review 58:Food and meals were costly especially if you are considering the buffet and familiy members of 5
Review 59:The availability of different sport activities insides the resort including kayak, zipline, rockclimb, hike and more. The staff are very professional and helpful
Review 60:Wifi is very slow, hence, you may need to consider using data Internet from C&W or Airtel.
Review 61:Excellent Location, it has two beaches one at North and another at South.
Review 62:Not even sure where to start...We started our stay in the Seychelles at the Savoy Resort and Spa at Beau Vallon and had a great experience. We had planned to go to Ephelia in order to finish our honey-moon in full glamour - one of the best resorts, sea-view villa, exquisite service. In reality, just a few hours into our arrival we already had so many disappointments that we complained to a manager and asked to leave the resort and go back to Savoy. We couldn't do that. The manager argued that they would be glad to help us leave but booking.com would incur 100% cancellation fees for the whole stay. It was therefore not the resort's fault but booking's. I was nevertheless, promised that things would get better. They didn't.1) Staff: with a few exceptions (Adam and Eve restaurant and the main bar) staff is mute, impudent, unwelcoming (check-in lady), lazy, inefficient, grumpy (especially breakfast at Corossol), and useless (especially at the Kabana beach bar).2) Service is indeed "exclusive" with great "attention to detail" - first time in my life to get a group check-in.We were set down with another couple (and no, there weren't too many people checking-in at this time, just us four). No privacy was respected whatsoever - forms were distributed as if we were about to sit for an exam at school, personal questions asked and we were also advised to pay an extra 50 euros to get upgraded to half-board. It was a direct comparison of who paid how much - we had paid for a sea-view villa whereas the other couple hadn't. They had opted in for half-board whereas we hadn't. It was a very uncomfortable situation to be in on your arrival in a 5* resort...In reality service in general is poor and slow. There is always something missing or not right. Ex.
Review 63:We especially liked the moment we left after a couple of nerve wrecking days of disappointment after disappointment. Otherwise, landscape is pretty as everywhere else on the island.
Review 64:food not sufficient variety at Corossol buffet.
Review 65:North beach, very large resort, privacy. Adam&eve restaurant very good. Cyann restaurant very good.
Review 66:Doing something outside the resort means traveling a long distance so a car would be needed, but in general we didn't have the urge to go outside considering the diversity the resort had. The older f&b staff need more training on how to smile to customers and cater for their needs (it's ok to give a table for 4 to 2 people if it's not crowded).
Review 67:The beaches, the spa, the tranquility, the food and the scenery.
Review 68:Pricey food and drinks, hit and miss servicing of the room, caged peacocks in a really small space.
Review 69:Beautiful beaches, beautiful pools, lovely rooms, great food, well maintained and spacious sight, responsive staff.
Review 70:Pool. North area lacks a good one. Food is expensive.
Review 71:Almost everything. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of activities (hiking, kayaking, walking throughout the hotel amongst my favorite). Just being surrounded by nature (tortoises, fruitbats, bird concerts every 12 hours, plants everywhere). Oh, and the spa!
Review 72:The cost of food on site is exorbitant; the location of the hotel is such that it's very windy and rainy when in Victoria the sun is shining. Locals informed me it's not the best place to go.
Review 73:The staff were nice
Review 74:Internet connection was very good but speed was very slow, could be a Hotel problem or even an Island problem.
Review 75:Genuine friendliness of the staff, great variety of breakfast, sun beds and watersports facilities always available free of charge. Checking in was friendlly and informative with a refreshing drink! In room service both excellent and good value when compared to the restaurants. Checking out again simple and no need to rush and departure super. Great attention to detail when informed of a special celebration ours being 25th wedding anniversary.
Review 76:The prices were a bit high for most services/foods, but OK - it's 5* resort.
Review 77:Very quiet, hardly saw other travelers around. Beautiful views, untouched tropical nature around. Sleeping while listening to the sounds of the sea waves.
Review 78:Le zanzare, dovrebbero davvero fare disinfestazioni giornaliere.
Review 79:La struttura è grande, ma organizzata ottimamente con ogni tipo di servizio: asciugamani sempre gratis e puliti, acqua portata in camera, ottima pulizia delle camere. C'è anche il medico a disposizione degli ospiti.
Review 80:We had no running water, however they made it up to us. Unfortunately, there was no electricity also on the last night and they would not had any chance to make it good. Besides breakfast, food is not the best part of the experience.
Review 81:Two beaches, different mood and location. Water sports were good, diving service very good. Creole night and creole buffet was interesting. Hotel and facilities are good (if they work):)
Review 82:Slow wifi at peak times.
Review 83:We stayed here for six days as part of our honeymoon. We stayed in a beachfront private villa. We really enjoyed our villa and our own big swimming pool. We also liked the fact that we could have our privacy while staying there. Our villa was facing the North beach, which is better than the South. We enjoyed all the restaurants and the quality of the food was high. We also enjoyed the fact that the hotel offered a schedule of different activities to do on a daily basis such as aqua aerobics, zumba, tortoise feeding and mangrove kayaking. Other things we liked included a great selection of free on demand movies, free bicycles, well-equipped fitness centre and huge spa and very helpful shuttle service. We enjoyed our stay there and we will definitely come back again!
Review 84:I stepped on corals on the first day as I tried to cross the shallow beach to the small islet. And it got infected :( However, there is a doctor on the premises whose fee is included in the hotel price. I do wish though there was a warning on the hotel leaflet.
Review 85:Although there were a lot of people, you never feel crowded. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are big and comfy, elegant bathrooms. We arrived at 8 am and were shown to a bungalow with a shower and room to swap our travelling garb for bathing suits.
Review 86:1) There are a lot of lizzards in our suite. They were screming every nights and running everywhere. Staff couldn't solve it! I couldn't sleep normally during the vacation. 2) Not carefull female-staff at breakfast. Very lazy and never smile. It looks like they don't like their job. 3) Very high prices. 4) Other problems were compensated.
Review 87:Jungle, Flora & Fauna at the hotel. The hotel's territory is very beautiful, Hotel has own doctor Sandi and he is very professional. Guest relation - thanks a lot to Sasha! Thanks to manager Vishel. Attentive and professional waiter Sachin at Helios.
Review 88:Not a place to be without a +1. Very couple oriented which is fine if you bring someone!
Review 89:I went for a wedding and loved it. It does rain everyday so plan accordingly. I liked that the two sides North and South were different so it felt a bit like a day out to venture to the other side. The scuba diving was excellent fur dig robe who has not done it.
Review 90:Swim, food , spa and service were superb. Even when it rained , the stay in the bungalow was great, what with a great dvd choice on screen , a sauna and a small swimming pool !
Review 91:Management and reception is not helpful. They care more about the money and not a customer-focued organization. They lack the sence of customer satisfaction as they failed to attend my doable requests. Without the help of Booking.com, I wouldn't be able leave happy. In general, resort is nice but the management are not.
Review 92:Very nice beaches, location, greenery, and activities. Resort is very huge and nice, plenty of different restaurants, and good sea activities.
Review 93:Helios restaurant is meant to be Mediterranean however it is just pasta and we did not enjoy the meal. Sometimes we had to ask for our daily bottle of water or coffee sachets to be replaced after house keeping had been in. The whole point in paying for five stars for me is to have these without having to ask.
Review 94:Located about 30-40 mins from airport and the road is windy. Take motion sickness tablets if you get car sick. Room was very clean and decor is nice and modern. We took half board which gave us breakfast and dinner (choice of 5 restaurants). Breakfast was amazing!! Option available for light lunch ie sandwich if that's all you want. Staff are very friendly and helpful especially Michelle from the bar area. Situated on two beaches so you have the options of where you want to go and I didn't feel it was crowded. Good activities offered.
Review 95:Privacy was sometimes harder to achieve compared to other resorts in the island. Not a negative factor, just something to be aware. It is a large, wonderful resort that usually at max occupancy.
Review 96:Great and expansive facilities. Large all inclusive resort had many options for guests
Review 97:The service is fantastic , our villa host Ahmad did a great job looking after us . We had a golf cart to move arround the resort , fantastic !!! beautiful beaches , 5 great restaurants . We Loved it !!!!!
Review 98:Some restaurants are very expensive for no reason
Review 99:The virgin beaches that you have to discover on your own, the forest in the resort, the variety of the restaurants, the beautiful and natural scenery from everywhere you go. Thierry was the most helpful in guiding us around the hotel and the island of mahé.
Review 100:WiFi is free but it's incredibly slow! I'd rather pay for it and get a faster connection.
Review 101:Everything was perfect! Staff very friendly and helpful. Reception Manager (Mr. Raj) managed to get me a late check out even if the property was totally booked due to an Indian Marriage - which usually means thousands of guests! The thing I liked most is that this place does not appear "fake" like many other places (e.g. Maldives). In this place you are just surrounded by the real nature. Other great thing is that there isn't a ugly huge hotel building, but just small villas with 6-8 suites each. It's like a small town! Very nice.
Review 102:Wi-Fi in rooms only. Not at spa, restaurants, Chinese restaurant food is poor. Ordered sandwiches to the room, they are not very tasty. For ex cheese and ham melt is not melted in the panini press. Half and full board prices do not include water or soft drinks or alcoholic drinks. It could have included one diet coke! Bed side lamps are too low, made of metal and heavy. Bumped my head 5 times
Review 103:Amazing paradise on earth. Loved every moment. Fantastic breakfast at Seselwa. Definitely go for a villa or senior suite to enjoy the benefits of being close to the North Beach. Best ever scuba diving trip and wonderful snorkeling to be had on the left side of the North beach. Loved that all non motorised water sports and equipment were free to enjoy. Rooms are large, clean and well appointed, very good quality bedsheets, didn't have any issues with insects (had a top floor room) and a large comfortable balcony for relaxing on. If there were any small issues you only had to call reception and the problem was rectifed in good time. Relaxed island atmosphere, great for couples, and families alike, looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful and safe locations.
Review 104:The pools have rough edges on which our young children scratched their legs on badly. Staff service at the breakfast buffet was very slow - not helpful and did not clear plates, nor replace cutlery.
Review 105:The facilities, most of the staff and location. The North beach was amazing.
Review 106:Unfortunately it seemed everything went wrong with our stay. No cot for my baby until hours later, broken glass at a few places where kids were running around, limited timings for food for toddlers and waitering staff were miserable. The manager tried to make up for our disappointments and we got a great upgrade, however the new villa although gorgeous, had no working fridge and once again a broken cot for my baby. They were attentive to fix it and asidt friendly, However for a 5* resort you just expect more. The Mosquitos were everywhere and we all got bit everyday really badly. Was just not a pleasant trip :(
Review 107:Our cleaning lady was amazing and Veronica the manger was so attentive and helpful. The shuttle service was amazing and the kids club great!!!
Review 108:Wifi should be across the whole resort not only in suites and receiption. Even some Resturants didn't have wifi
Review 109:Everything was fine and the staff were really friendly. The suit was really beautiful
Review 110:Ford and drink can be pricey Would recommend choosing Half board or full board
Review 111:Beautiful location with two beaches Friendly staff Great breakfast buffet Good selection of retuarants Great activities
Review 112:Everything was more than fine, location, staff and food. Especially the nature is astonishing. And of course the weather if you come from Northern Europe in January. In summary we extended our stay...
Review 113:Checking in was a nightmare, took 30 mins the last thing you need when you have just got off a long flight and lots of silly questions, they seem to think you just want to sit in the reception and wait we also had to pay the balance of our room right then and there another trip to another desk which was a very painful and slow experience, surly everyone pays when they check out, maybe they are worried you will just leave, eventually a grumpy lady took us to our room on a buggy which she drove so fast I nearly fell off the back, our luggage then took another 45 mins to arrive in our room after several phone calls. No hot water for four days at all and kept complaining until finally on our last day it was sorted, no communication with staff , the lights by our bed didn't work the room was very dark the light above by the door kept flashing on and off many problems with the room that were not resolved (we were offered a room change on the last day) it seems no one in the hotel is interested which is a shame as its a beautiful resort let down by the staff. Its seems this hotel has had lots of staffing issues and other problems which we were advised by the locals , if it was managed priorly it would be a fantastic place to stay. Dining - Not many al a carte choices if you are not full board, and on the last night nothing at all except fine dining where they expect you to dress up not possible if you are leaving that night. The food was nice but nothing fantastic and very small over priced portions, in Cyan were were charge nearly 50 uk pounds for a half bottle red wine and 15 uk pounds for a glass of chardonnay ,Cyan had no wine menus even though we were served by a sommelier so we got ripped off. The food in Adam and Eve was good Asian food but defiantly need more food options especially at lunch time.
Review 114:Beautiful resort and not crowded lots of lovely places to hide away !!
Review 115:The Wifi was little week on most areas need to make the signal stronger
Review 116:Everything was perfect and beyond expectations Staff were very very kind Variety of food and entertainment Location Facilities
Review 117:The first few nights in the "suite" category of rooms. The size was more akin to a slightly above average hotel room. The sound quality of the "suite" room was on par with a typically non-soundproofed room at an average hotel. The politeness of the housekeepers was inconsistant. Simple door soundproofing buffers- would have cost the resort so little- yet alleviated SO much noise at Constance Ephelia.
Review 118:The careful preservation of surrounding mangrove swamps; with their accompanying wildlife. The wide expanse of resort grounds to safely explore. Pathways are paved & clearly lit. Being a short drive or walk from unspoilt granite boulder-strewn beaches. Seeing the Seychelles fruit bat fly overhead. Seeing the giant land crabs scamper about. Enjoying the pollution free air, filled with the pleasing scents of tropical flowers in bloom. Getting a chance to experience the complete peace & quiet of the villa category of accomodations. The villa truly lived up to its name, in size & overall quality of stay. Having wifi fast enough, & in good working order.
Review 119:If you are looking for customer service, choose another hotel. In here they're too focused on the landscaping and the private events. There is nobody to bring you food or drinks by the beach or by the pool. If you want a snack or a drink in the middle of the afternoon you can't because the restaurants and bars are closed. You have to accommodate your holidays to their schedule, and you have to make a reservation in advance. But they have no problem charging extra 115 rupees for room service. Two days in a row the main bar and restaurant were closed for private events.
Review 120:The food is very good. The south beach is not suitable for swimming, but the north beach is beautiful.
Review 121:Apart from a few issues in the first days (cards were deactivated and there was a water leakage outside the apt fixed a few hours later) there wasn't anything we disliked
Review 122:Location as you can make usage of several different facilities (including multiple swiming pools and restaurants) and two different types of beachs (1 shallow and the other with a bit more depth). Has everything if you just want remain in the resort for the full period. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. Everything very clean. I think you get what you pay for (in a good way)
Review 123:Had one of the chef's in Helios restaurant behave really rude with us. We just had to lodge a formal complaint with the manager. Hope this dosent happen again. Been to many hotels and we definitely haven't seen such behavior from anyone in the hospitality industry. She was plain obnoxious and rude.
Review 124:Nice property with 2 beaches. North beach is better Good food across restaurants
Review 125:Water leisure potential is not used to full potential. Snorkelling is not so easy in view of excelent conditions. It is also a pity that corals are dying - but of course is not the hotel fault, but should contribute to solve the problem
Review 126:Location is suberb, restaurants very good, staff very friendly and attentive, roem excelent
Review 127:bathrooms the size distribution the bathroom elements. i don't like the dogs at beach
Review 128:landescape ,the size of the hotel and the variety of activities
Review 129:I did not like the beach front villas being away from the beach. I paid for beach front villa, but i was far away. In my opinion, this should never happen. Go to Maldives, and see what does beach front means
Review 130:I liked the following: 1. The comfort of rooms. 2. Cleanses of rooms and spa. 3. The quality of food.
Review 131:- food is expensive. - limited Middle East food in the menu. - week wifi signals in the resort.
Review 132:- very good and chearfull staff. - very active and helpfull. - quick respond for service requests.
Review 133:This quality has a price, which we knew, expected and found acceptable.
Review 134:Extremely friendly staff and management, very helpful, we felt pampered. Environment, place - end of 'ringroad' around Mahe, facilities, north beach (less windy), food, suites. Environmental care !
Review 135:Some Prices in the Hotel-Restaurants where very high. But 500m from theHotel was a very nice Restaurant directly at the sout beach.
Review 136:Our Room. The professionality of the staff. The two beaches. We tryed tofind something to complain - but we had no Chance. The spa was a dream. We had several Special wishes - the staff fullfilled them all.
Review 137:There are some training issues and some odd policy decisions. For example, the decision not to allow simultaneous kayaking/snorkeling seems very short-sighted for what purports to be a resort offering water sports as a USP.
Review 138:The Constance Ephelia is gorgeous, the villas have every amenity that one could wish and the staff are very obliging.
Review 139:Poor level of service
Review 140:Nothing
Review 141:insect bits and lizards coming to the rooms is annoying..
Review 142:all facilities, services and activities are good
