Review 1：The check-in was extremely complicated and not well organised (i was not able to pass the outer door). Also the room was rather small.

Review 16：Arrived Sunday evening at 21.15 to find hotel completely shut - I had warned when booking that I would be late. Discovered later that I had been sent an email at 18.30 giving me the entry code. Unfortunately I was on train and had no internet connection. Suggest that for late arrivals the email is sent a day earlier.

Have a good day" and we could not get anything back. The room did not match what we saw in the pictures here on the site. Breakfast was poor. The restaurant in the same building was popular and but they also have mice running around. The cleaning was poor. Not a fair price!

We had booked a Superior Quadruple Room, which was slighlty misleading. In the end it was a double room in which they had put a simple folding bed. We were only 3 people, but it would be quite cramped with 4 people. Also the "additional" guests do not receive a bathrope or slippers. Our room had the garden view to the back of the hotel, which is theoretically nice, but unfortunately the local youth hangs out in the park under the window so it was quite loud at night. WLAN was too weak in the rooms and could only be used in the corridor.

Review 84：The hotel is located on the plaza in the middle of old town Kalmar where plenty of shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Because there is no A/C it can be a little noisy at night with the windows open but they provide ear plugs. Fans are provided as well. Try to get a room off the plaza if you want to reduce the noise level. Beds are comfortable and duvets snuggly. The breakfast is wonderful! Eggs and bacon are outstanding, and cold buffet very complete. Great coffee, too!

Review 85：It was very noisy at night, and sleeping was tough before midnight. On the town square there was a rock concert celebration that was very loud. Even when the concert ended, and on non-concert night, there were groups of people in the park yelling and carrying on. The room was adequate but plumbing facilities very old.

Review 86：The location was good because it was walkable from the train and to all the things that were listed in the tour books. Breakfast was best I had in Sweden.

Review 87：There was no air-conditioning in the room and at night it was quite warm, so we had to open the window. And since there is a large square next to the hotel, with bars and restaurants, the noise disturbed us almost all night long. Even though the windows are soundproof (when closed), the internal soundproofing is very bad: the sound of creaking floor from neighbour rooms felt like somebody was walked inside of our own room!
