Reviews for Euro Boutique Hotel

Review 1:The noise of the re-refrigerator was relay annoying and was waking me up all night...

Review 2:Nice place to overnight in Chumpon. Clean and spacious rooms. Located near the night market.

Review 3:Room bit too noisy (next to elevator), few ants in our room (was OK for us)

Review 4:Location is great! Rooms are spacey and clean! Possibility to rent bicycles and motor bikes. Real Thai prices :)

Review 5:Room is so small and bathroom wasn't clean especially water can't drain when we took shower. The bathroom get bad smell.

Review 6:Breakfast was such fantastic.there was many choices of food.i am appreciated and enjoy.

Review 7:Although they kindly offered to make the free breakfast earlier so we could have it before we caught the ferry unfortunately the coffee and sugar pots were full of ants though so couldn't use.

Review 8:Perfect room, big, light, modern with fridge, Aircon and balcony. Walking distance to the train station and a market + cafes all around. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful giving us lifts and translating for us when we needed help changing our ferry tickets.

Review 9:After I booked my boat ticket to koh Tao with them, I was picked up in a shuttle and transferred onto a bus at the train station. I then had to pay an extra 100 baht to a rude ticket lady for the bus ticket to the pier. I had no idea about this additional fare and think that it should have been included when I first paid at the hotel.

Review 10:One of the best deals that I've had in Thailand. Clean, quiet and spacious. Recommended.

Review 11:Bugs in the room. I don't speak Thai which made communication difficult (my fault not theirs but worth noting) also the bed made us both really itchy for some reason

Review 12:Good price. Convenient for transfer to Koh Tao.

Review 13:It's a good hotel located near a 7/11. Staff is very good and helpfull. They can book a mini van going to airport. The room is nice, bed is good. There's a balcony. The bathroom is clean with hot shower. Quiet hotel because it's not located near the street.

Review 14:Breakfast for western taste was so and so. But for a one night it was ok.

Review 15:Stayed for a one night and catched the ferry to Koh Tao the next day. Location was good, about 10 min walk from the railway station. Room was clean, bed was good and there was a nice little balcony. Felt safe in this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff.

Review 16:Perfect gateway for Lompraya, the staff is well organized, we arrived at 11.30 PM and they book for us free pick up to train station (were LOmpraya bus is leaving from) for next morning at 5 AM

Review 17:roosters went crazy from 4am - 6am, not fond of bamboo sticky rice breakfast

Review 18:very clean, fast wifi, nice location near night bazarr, has balcony, friendly staff

Review 19:Only stayed here for the night but the staff were very helpful and organised our transfers and tickets to Koh Tao. Whole place was so clean and rooms very spacious

Review 20:The air con. Would blast out freezing cold for 5 minutes then completely stop for 10 minutes so was hard to sleep as kept changing body temperature. The walls are very thin. Breakfast could be better and be served later than 9am

Review 21:Rooms clean, good location, staff helpful

Review 22:If i had to find cons: - the breakfast was not so good, but free, so whats to complain? - ac blew directly in my face, which i don't appreciate, but thats my problem i guess

Review 23:- very clean - free breakfast - walking distance to train station and night market - motobike rent

Review 24:Perhaps an English movie or series channel on tv.

Review 25:Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, good room service, excellent location, nice balcony for smokers, very effective aircon and wifi, some interesting English news channels on flat screen tv.

Review 26:I like everything expect maybe the location wasn't so hidden n right by a busy Main Street that can be noisy n dirty at times. But other then that it's beautiful!!

Review 27:Layout, clean, fresh n affordable. Good price. Awesome breakfast. Beautiful hotel!

Review 28:Staff work very hard to keep the whole Hotel clean, it sparkles and shines. Beds made everyday and changed often. Water provided. Newspaper in English available. I think management is extra proud of the breakfasts provided and so they should be as they are varied and plentiful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Review 30:Clean, strategic and quiet location, has everything you need. We most liked the breakfast on the roof! Hotel can arrange tickets to all the Koh's nearby including pick up to the pier

Review 31:all was fine, just strange doorman was the weakest point of this hotel.

Review 32:Smiling receptionists when i got in and they were first receptionists during my 3 weeks in thailand who answered my sawadee krap and not stared on me like i am alien). Everything worked well here, Can see some good manager work too.

Review 33:The internet is awful, probably due to a single router for the whole floor. Table not usable for working at a laptop

Review 34:Clean room, english-speaking staff.

Review 35:Hotel delivered as promised, as a commuter hotel. Small clean rooms with an elevator. Honestly, I stayed here on my way back from koh tao and if I had it to do again I would have bypassed the town since it did not have a lot to offer and basically wasted a day. But hotel was fine.

Review 36:Clean, OK breakfast, eggs to order, instant coffee. Great value for an overnight.

Review 37:not much, personal could be a little better at english, but with hands and feet everything worked out. they're really helpful and try to help with anything

Review 38:basically all you want from a hotel. wifi is working without a hitch, the breakfast buffet is good and plenty, the rooms are very clean and in good shape. really got my money's worth

Review 39:Breakfast really basic.

Review 40:The bed was really comfortable. Perfect after traveling for 20 hours straight. The room was very clean. we were really tired and did not want to go out to eat so the staff helped us order a pizza to our room.

Review 41:Well run with an organized staff with good English skills. Good value for the money Close to the night market and not to far to the train station. They will organize a ride to the airport at a 200 bht per person. Great value.

Review 42:The staff was very friendly and helpful, they have also organized our boat to ko Tao. The hotel is calm, centrally located close to markets, breakfast was also ok with toast, eggs and fruits. Everything was clean.

Review 43:nothing

Review 44:Breakfast was great, staff very pleasant. Do not listen to the negative reviews they are trying to compare this hotel to much more expensive places. Large group 4 rooms everyone enjoyed our stay.

Review 45:wifi wasn't great in room, However nice communal sofas downstairs to sit on wifi.

Review 46:The rooms are big sizes, huge comfy bed, hot shower, good breakfast! Definitely recommend.

Review 47:Nothing.

Review 48:Euro Boutique is clean and basic, located at 10 min. walking distance from the train station and near a 7eleven supermarket and some restaurants opened until late night. We arrived quite late by train and the hotel staff were very helpful, they even contacted the ferry company (Lomprayah) to organize our pick-up the next morning. Wireless Internet connection worked perfect.

Review 49:The breakfast is poor but considering the price 600 baht per Night is ok.

Review 50:The hotel has to be new. The room is very clean. Close to train station. They arrange also the transfer to the islands.

Review 51:Noisy rooms and hallways Refrigerator not plugged in. No coffee on room. Left before free breakfast.

Review 52:We were on our way to Bangkok from Phuket and needed a place a crash for the night. This hotel served that purpose well and price couldn't be beat.

Review 53:This is the perfect and best hotel in chumphon. It's right in the middle of everything. 7 min walk from the train. It's brand new, what more could you ask for.

Review 54:the breakfast is simple but way enough for me; Chumpon is not really to stay for holidays, better go to the beach - but good party at Papa2000 though

Review 55:the hotel is brand new, with an elevator, a rooftop breakfast, big modern rooms, clean big bathrooms, scooters to rent, close to everything you need (market, shopping, bars, Papa2000), 590THB per night in Jan 2015

Review 56:Friendly staff. Good Location: it is on the main road of Chunpon, and they are well organized with the Lonprayan vans which bring you to the pier. Great value for money. Good breakfast, simple but with everything and very helpful and smiling staff. Nice and clean room.

Review 57:The city of Chumphon, but that's not the hotel's fault ;)

Review 58:The staff was friendly, they helped my look for a train te catch! Especially the price which they charge is great value for money, clean rooms, all new furniture, good hygiene and great beds! Just book this hotel, you won't regret it!

Review 59:Chlorinated water. Outside noise in the first room we had, second room at back side, much better.

Review 60:In the middle of town, easy to go places. Staff were wonderful and accommodating. Clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast rooftop area as well as breakfast, light and just right.

Review 61:The breakfast was ok. If they just add some more food and fruits, maybe give different options for their guest the breakfast would be a good experience too.

Review 62:The Euro Boutique hotel gave us a pleasant stay in Chumpon. My boyfriend and I felt we got what we expected from the hotel. They even had some training equipments at the top floor, that was a good surprise for us. The roof area and the 6th floor outside area was amazing. You can eat a good lunch there (picnick), get some tan or just relax. And you can easily see a nice sunset from the top too. They also gave us some food 05:30 in the morning before we left with a ferry to Koh Tao which was a pleasant surprise :)

Review 63:rooms could be much nicer with a little bed light and table. Now it's the choice of the hard ceiling lights or darkness/

Review 64:cheap for real hotel with airco, TV

Review 65:Lock on balcony door was faulty

Review 66:Free wifi Helpful staff New & Clean 850m to train station Organised free lomprayah pick up from hotel to get the ferry to Koh Tao early in the morning

Review 67:This is an incredible place to stay for your money. I was greeted cordially by Nick at the reception. He spoke an impeccable English! I was very pleased with my stay! I wish much success to Euro Boutique! Amagi Patrick

Review 68:staff had very poor english, with nothing to aid communication, picture boards etc to point at would have been useful seeing its advertised for tourists.

Review 69:nice new hotel, clean and spotless great value for money

Review 70:Breakfast. Was good BUT was dished out by the staff and only a small portion.

Review 71:The friendliness f the staff. The cleanliness of the rooms and overall hotel.

Review 72:The hotel overages a bit for renting their motorcycle, although it isvery convenient and the guy in charge is helpful when it comes todirections (300/day). Most of the staff don't have very goodEnglish so communication can be a bit of an issue, however, I can'treally hold it against them, we are the foreigners after all, but, justbe forewarned that if you need to find out vital information try andtalk to the main guy there, didn't get his name, but he was alwaysaround while we were there. He was very helpful and it was easy tocommunicate with him. Also, if you are desperate drop by the Salsahostel, the owner/operator has perfect English and is very nice. They also can help you book boats, or day trips. The beaches are a bitfar from the main part of town (about a 20ish minute drive on amotorcycle). There isn't too much to do around the city and thepublic transit to the beach areas doesn't run very late meaning youdon't have much other choice than renting scooters.

Review 73:10 minutes from the train station and very easy to find. It's asmall town so the hotel is in a good location for food and groceries. The night market and vendors upon up all along the main street. Istrongly recommend, as with everywhere, when taking buses go to thetransport hubs themselves rather than agencies, you will save a lot ofmoney. There are two bus terminals, one a bit far out of the city andanother about a 5min walk from the hotel located between the nightmarketand across the street from the Salsa Hostel. If you are taking buses toSurat Thani, etc. go there. The seafood is good, especially at Thung WuaLean! A lot less predatory and relaxed atmosphere when compared to a lotof tourist hotspots in Thailand.

Review 74:Reception staff has very basic English but its Ok.

Review 75:The owner was very helpful and supportive. We wanted to go to Thung Wua Laen beach (beautiful by the way...) by local bus and he explained everything and even drove us to the bus stop by his private car!

Review 76:None

Review 77:Hotel was very clean and modern, internet was good and location was very close to the night market which was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 78:Breakfast limited to say the least, but for the price it is not a major downfall

Review 79:Great location, quiet and comfortable. Well priced for a stopover while in transit to the islands or return to bangkok

Review 80:It is badly soundproofed. The room was not super clean but ok.

Review 81:You can book the fairies to the islands at the reception.

Review 82:Good value for the money
