Reviews for Arubiana Inn Hotel
Review 1:Advertisement led us to believe there was an outside grilling area which meant we did not have to have a stove. There is no such thing so if this important to you, choose another place.
Review 2:Staff was very friendly. Pool area quite lovely.
Review 3:Scary, seemed like were in a bad part of town, locked in the campus at night, but turned out fine, we got there late, and left early, so our evaluation may not be fair
Review 4:Clean , friendly, price was right,
Review 5:they are not studios, just normal rooms with a very old frigobar and a microwave. You need to wash the dishes in the bathroom sink, completely non hygienic! And that was also the problem that the bathroom water was coming back cause the stuff where the used water go, it was full, they came to empty them after that problem started. There are not kitchen as all the other studios I have already been in Aruba. Television is not a flat one, but the very old big ones. To plug the jar to make coffe, the plug was an aerea onel, coming from the microwave, very dangerous. All the other plugs in the room, when i put my mobiles to charge, made a strange noise , only one was ok,, the only one i used. To drink an american cup of coffe, you have to pay a dollar, they give you no soap tablets to wash your hands in your bathroom sink and if you want to use the beach chairs, you pay five dollars each, the same price in the beach you pay to rent the big ones!It is my tenth time in the island, and I know i will never come back in this hotel. Also far about 20-30 minutes walking to the beach, and no buses pass close to the hotel.I was in other studios, closer to eagle beach, that were real studios, with new kitchen fully furnished, with owen, microwave, refrigerator, kitchen sink, with evrything for you to cook, detergent to wash the dishes, and full toiletris. This is the first hotel that sell studios without being studios. Rooms not much clean.First hotel in which you need to pay the difference from total and downpayment at check in and not at check out!
Review 6:Good internet connection and big swimming pool, in which i didnt swim, cause if i go to aruba, i go to that marvellous sea and not in the swimming pool.
Review 7:No hot water/ cockroaches / small lizards between the sheets / no late check out
Review 8:Location/ staff/ very quiet / breakfast on the house (they change me from an outdated room after I complain)
Review 9:Well... It's far from the beach. It's a bit remote location to anything....
Review 10:I'd stay again! Loved the pool close to the room, nice outdoor seating. Helpful staff. Clean and nice...
Review 11:pool has no railing at steps, no toilet paper in commode is "awkward" at best, saggy bed, no beach view, beach not really "a walk" unless VERY young, noisy dog/geese nearby, any travel $16-$20 taxi RT minimum
Review 12:beautiful courtyard "sun" space, relaxing, quiet neighborhood hotel of 18 updated, clean rooms, helpful staff, yummy big breakfast, airy, friendly mostly Dutch-speaking guests, accessible taxis/tours, not casino/party scene, great a/c
Review 13:They really didn't offer to call for us the tour operator so that we can have the tour of the Island but then the next day, another girl offered to call, but it was too late for us already since the tour start at 8:30 in the morning.
Review 14:The environment is nice, secure and clean room.
Review 15:The odor in the room and bathroom was just awful, septic odor. Rooms near the eating area was loud, rooms were dirty. Dirty walls and doors, sticky surfaces. Dirty light switches, stain splatters on the walls. Lock on door was loose and coming off. Dirty bed skirt and blanket with holes and stains. Did not like how guests smoked out side by their rooms, it's close quarters and I couldn't handle the smoke. Room with a dog, kept barking all night. Remote control for TV did not work.
Review 16:Located near super food, plenty of parking and the entrance was locked at night. Pool area was nice and quiet.
Review 17:Although the Arubiana Inn is only about a 15-minute walk from beautiful Eagle Beach, it is not a pleasant walk, especially at night. Although I never felt unsafe, there is a fair amount of traffic along the route to Eagle Beach. You need to walk alongside the road (no sidewalks) and cross a busy four-lane road. If staying at the Arubiana Inn, you should either rent a car or be comfortable using the Arubus system. Also, you're not supposed to flush your toilet paper. Instead, there's a covered trash can next to the toilet which is emptied daily by the staff. I didn't mind this, but others might. Still, I recommend the Arubiana Inn.
Review 18:The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They helped me find a guided tour of Aruba and a snorkeling excursion, provided great recommendations about places to visit, and called cabs for me when I needed them. Without their help, my stay in Aruba would have been far less enjoyable. The courtyard is a wonderful place to relax, especially at night. The rooms are cleaned promptly and thoroughly every day. They are reasonably equipped but not lavish; if you're just looking for a safe, clean, and friendly place to sleep at night while you explore Aruba during the day, you'll be satisfied here, as I was.
Review 19:we didn't have a car and we usually like to walk - took about 20 mins to the beach (we found a short cut opposite the supermarket) and there were a few basic places to get food about 10 minutes away (mostly Chinese) but the roads are badly lit, sometimes no pavement and often with puddles. Also asked for $150 deposit for the room! Never come across this before and we have travel led widely across the globe.
Review 20:the pool area with palm trees, sunbeds and hammock - always shade available and outside table and chairs for every room. Also the great nearby supermarkets.
Review 21:Biggest turn-off was the fact that toilets couldn't flush paper. <May sound picky, but this made the accommodations seem less than clean. Bathroom did not smell clean. Rooms were ok but not stellar for proce.
Review 22:Fact that we could rent for one night was convenient.
Review 23:You really need to rent a car for this location. Asked you not to put soiled toilet tissue in the toilet but rather place it in a small garbage container! Maybe you need to look at your plumbing.
Review 24:Half mile to Eagle Beach. Grocery store within walking distance. Friendly staff........Nice pool! For adults...not meant for kids. For the price this place is excellent for the value. It is very clean and kept up well.
Review 25:I didn't like the fact that there was no one there for our arrival. We called both numbers and no one picked up the phone. We had to wait out there for 3 hours for someone to get there so we could check in.
Review 26:After the experience you are blind for everything else. So cannot tell what I liked.
Review 27:really bad owner, she tried to ask me for more money saying after that she did a mistake, and asked fomr additional 40$ for keeping the luggare few more hours. at the end accepted to keep for free in a common area (not locked) and for only few hours. No willing to help customer. To be avoided
Review 28:Checking and out was a breeze. Very clean, very comfortable stay. Loved that beach towels and cooler were provided and you can never go wrong in the Caribbean with 24 hr pool access.
Review 29:The pool was dirty
Review 30:It is a basic hotel perfect if you budget is tight and want to experience the island, the location is decent, close to eagle beach, food market close as well , the room was clean and staff were very attentive.
Review 31:Its no a big problem. But it would be perfect if the service works 24 hours.
Review 32:You have everything you need! 1- good price. The money That you keep you can use it for enjoy the island. 2- The hotel its perfect for relax, read a book and take the sun. The pool its nice And the palms áre perfect around the pool. 3- The rooms has everything you need. 4- The Location its fine. You need rent a car. Even if you stay in a five start hotel you need rent a car And discover the island for yourself. 5- good service.
Review 33:Breakfast should be improved.
Review 34:A nice budget alternative when visiting Aruba. The hotel is really cosy and I really enjoyed staying there!
Review 35:The pool should be cleaner.
Review 36:The hotel was cozy, quiet and cute. Close to the beach and a few restaurants.
Review 37:Nothing.
Review 38:Everything is good! Nice place and amazing staff!
Review 39:NO SOAP IN THE BADROOM

Review 56:The hotel is near the beach, the staff is so kind and the room is too confortable
Review 57:The breakfast is very good!!!
Review 58:Price
Review 59:It had everything I needed
Review 60:Hours of staff
Review 61:Location
Review 62:The staff is not there 24 hours a day. Our flight was late coming in and we needed to check in by 7:30. We just made it. Found this stressful
Review 63:Nice resort. Needed to stay for one night. This worked out well
Review 64:I didn't like that I had to pay a $150 dollar deposit to stay one night in a hotel room. This should be made clear when making the reservation. Breakfast was a little disappointing. They said there was 'fruit' for breakfast but it turned out to be an apple.
Review 65:Friendly staff. They reduced the deposit to $100, which shows they listen to complaints. Arranged a taxi for me.
Review 66:Most disgusting part of the hotel is that they told us that we could not flush our toilet paper down the toilet and had to throw it in the garbage can. The room was clean, but how clean could that garbage can be?? EEWWWWW There are no queen/full/king size beds. They just put two twin beds together. The beds are very uncomfortable and cheap. The view is terrible. It looks worse than a dessert b/c there is not even any sand. There is no grass...not even pavement. When you look out the front you see nothing but a dried up, mowed down, dirty pasture. Breakfast is no deal and there is not much assess to restaurants by foot.
Review 67:Staff was nice. Small resort so pool side bathing was fairly private and quiet.
Review 68:The hotel is far from the beach and it is necessary to rent a car. You do not have the hairdresser in the room. They will rent their chairs for 9$, while you can rent them directly to the beach at 5 $. Furthermore, they provide you the refrigerator to carry on with you to the beach without ice bag (you have to buy it at the supermarket).
Review 69:The room is very comfortable and well-furnished and clean. They can rent for you a car for a economic price, and bring the car in front of of the hotel.
Review 70:there is no restaurant 15 minutes walk to the beach reception only open in the morning, nobody on duty in the afternoon and evening recommend a rental car, difficult to move around without one.
Review 71:very good price, to start with. A cosy, family like atmosphere
Review 72:The friendly staff maintained a quiet, rustic experience which contrasted nicely with the loud, crowded timeshare resort we had just left. It was very like European bed and breakfast. The price was unbeatable, yet it still had modern amenities like satellite TV, Wi-Fi and even a laptop for visitors to use. Definitely a two thumbs -up. We'll be back.
Review 73:Swimmimg pool was dirty
Review 74:Room
Review 75:The bathroom could have been nicer.
Review 76:It made you feel like you was staying home. Very beautiful place
Review 77:Quiet and good neighbors. Walking distance to Eagle Beach and grocery store.
Review 78:Far away from beach and center
Review 79:Doors locked from inside using key.
Review 80:Comfy bed, good amenities, friendly staff.
Review 81:Facilities are very good.
Review 82:Nothing nearby within walking distance no toilet paper in toilet. Needs some face lifting on rooms
Review 83:The staff was quiet place
Review 84:A car is definitely required to stay here;
Review 85:Friendly atmosphere, helpful staff
