Review 1：Friendly and helpful staff the cleanliness of all areas was very good and the food served in the cafe was amazing and very fresh.Excellent place to stay we would defiantly stay there again.

Review 7：Nice quite area, staff friendly, and speak good English too. Nice Pool and coffee bar. Rooms simple but clean and a good size. No frills but no complaints. Most of us foreigners use this hotel as a stop over to go further south or to Koh Tao etc. it's just perfect for this, it's just outside of town and probably a 25 minute walk to the train station. Will stay here again in the future, I've never had any problems with my stays.

Review 10：We stayed there only for 1 night on our way to Koh Tao. The moment we entered the resort we regretted that we were not staying there longer. Its a beautiful resort in the midst of a lot of a tropical forest. It has great facilities, friendly staff and nice and clean rooms.

Review 15：The Thai people stay here for long weekends which is fine- but the swimming pool became a venue for all the kids swimming lessons which was a bit noisy.

Review 49：Room was unfinished, plaster on walls including in shower where the dampmade it smell. We were vaguely told we would be be paying 50% howeverthis was not made clear. For 2000tbh a night id stay by the coast. Staffwere friendly but needed promoting about most things wifi,safe, beaches,maps, laundry and other services. Town is not great, a train stationwith a couple of bars in an industrial estate.

Review 50：Staff were friendly when answering questions. Breakfast was fine forfree, however I would not be happy to pay for it. Beautiful beachesaround half hour taxi (350tbh) away. Very nice pool (only seats 10though so can get very busy, even at the end of season).

Review 51：Room decor very depressing Wifi none existent throughout hotel Serious ant infestation struggled to stay on top of, they got into everything. When we arrived at our next hotel we opend our case to find literally thousands of ants in every consivable place.

I was directed by the resort staff to a bus station within 5 min. of the resort which made my return to Bangkok much easier and a good choice for future stays instead of the train for travel.

Large and spotless rooms! Staff very friendly and helpful with travel advise, etc. I booked another night on my return to Bangkok.

Review 61：The room at first sight was nice but it was invested with Mosquitos. I told the non English speaking staff multiple times and they were little help. I ended up leaving the second night at 10pm. Even attempted to get a refund but they couldn't unserstand anything. Also I don't even know why they add the beach as a feature with this room. It's 20 km away and it's a 350 baht ride each way. I rode a bike borrowed which was nice but I was exhausted by the time of return about 5 hours after. I'm an experienced bike rider though so I wouldn't suggest this, I will not return. Beach polluted as well

Review 69：It was a 20 minute walk from the trainstation. The hotel has a very big sign(in English) and was easy to find. We had a very warm welcome. The room had a big balcony and was very modern and clean. In the evening one staffmember asked if we would like to go to the nightmarket. Our son was allready asleep, so no night market sadly...We only spent one night, but it was excelellent!

I only stayed one night as I was getting the ferry to koh Tao the next day and I arrived by train at midnight, the hotel had arranged pickup for me from the train station which was great. The room was huge, I wasn't expecting something so generous, everything was immaculate too. Would stay there again without a doubt.

Review 73：Staffs' English wasn't great but one guy spoke great English,and we muddled through with the rest. Not really to do with the hotelbut Chumphon isn't much of an exciting place to visit.

Review 74：Stayed twice before and after visiting Koh Tao, was very relaxed placeto stay for a few days. Very large rooms, good pool, good air-con. I hadread reviews criticizing the location beforehand, we actually found itfine, it's about a 10 minute walk from town, but we chose to takethe bikes provided and it only took a few minutes to get there.We had late arrival (due to the terrible Thai train service) and departure, which the hotel were very accommodating with. If we were ever in Chumphon again we would without doubt stay there again over the hotels in the centre of town and the more expensive hotels at the beach.

Review 75：Very big room with too little furniture. Concrete untreated (-look)walls, also in the bathroom, which makes it look dirty. We had to movebecause of a noisy water pump on the room. The new room had a noisycricket in the bathroom. Pool does not look like In the pictures at all.Very uninviting pool and too much concrete style.
