Review 1：I ordered room service and they do not allow me to charge to my room and I was expected to pay cash. It was rather inconvenient for me as I do not carry that much cash with me.

Review 3：Friendly staff and good customer service. The fridge was nit working too well. They upgraded our hotel room. This was a pleasant gesture.

Review 4：Should give cashcard refund for vehicle driven into the carpark for guest before checking in, whom do not know that they can get complimentary parking tickets from the hotel. Complimentary parking tickets should make it clear. The barrier should not minus the amount when entering, should be when exiting.

Review 25：Didn't get the room i wanted even though I booked in Sep for Dec stay and specifically indicated I wanted a view. I booked the room for my guests. The hotel gave me a room without a window and keep saying it has a pool view. It is a glass partition that separates 2 rooms. I asked the receptionist for a change of room based on our booking preference but he said they are all fully booked. The fact that I took the trouble to book a good room for my guests abt 4 mths ago has just gone to waste. Would not be going back as I find that the booking request vs actual stay can differ for this hotel and I didn't want to go through the awkward situation of explaining to guests for the difference again.

Review 35：First floor is a sea food restaurant – so it’s smelling as much as the fish hell. As the both lifts are running to the first floor – they have a permanent smell as the dirty fish market ((( The hotel suppose to be 4 stars however my room was dirty too much. The cleaning personnel are completely do nothing during the making up…… they only change the minibar… that’s all. I stay there 6 nights and request to change my bed sheet on third night. I was completely disappointed then see the same bed sheet used to the my bed. Can supose that they do the same to the towels!!! This is disgusting!!! Finally I was really disappointed with my stay in this hotel.

Review 46：The proximity to Sentosa, the cable cars, public transport, Mt Faber, Vivo City. I am a return customer having enjoyed a 7 night stay last time. The availability of public transport is fantastic: MRT and buses galore, also lots of taxis. With Vivo City over the road you have everything you need within minutes, even a pleasant boardwalk stroll.

If you are looking for a hotel near Sentosa wuth good price, you can consider this hotel. The location is very reachable from Orchard road as well, you only pay about $SGD7 by taxi, or only about $SGD2is by MRT. 15-20 min from Changi Airport.

Review 62：Frosted glass doors for bathroom - you can see someone showering inside. The separate toilet was also too small for comfort - you can't really move, kept bumping into the door. No exhaust as well for toilet. Smallish pool.

Review 97：The hotel has a pool even though it is small, facilities are quite good. In terms of location, the hotel is great, it only takes about 5 mins to go Vivo City, and you can even walk to Sentosa, it takes about 15 mins. There are a few hawker centres in the surrounding area.

Review 98：I was surprised to see the mini bar was free. Free beer, water, sodas, juice and even snacks!! Excellent wifi speed! Room is clean! I enjoyed swimming at night. Water temperature was perfect!

The utilities were not entirely separated from your rest area; ie the sink is placed near the complimentary drinks and only a few steps from your bed. The shared walkway in the room can get slippery if you are not careful.

Review 100：- Courteous staff - The only good view you can have in the hotel is towards Sentosa. - Masjid/mosque right beside the hotel. A good prayer point for Muslims. Choose this hotel if you are considering a cheap hideout but at the same time, would like to have the convenience within your reach.

Review 102：Receptionist was very observant as I was checking in. Other than a warm welcome and a birthday wish, she offered to upgrade my room and granted free consumption of the mini-bar. I was pleasantly delighted. Restaurant and kitchen staff paid close attention to details despite peak hour crowd and rush. Scrambled egg and hash browns were replenished over and over so that hotel guests got to enjoy them hot and fresh. Replenishment of food items was frequent and prompt. The manager offered me freshly-brewed coffee when he informed me he wasnt able to bill my breakfast to the room charge - this was different from what the receptionist had told me the day before. Again I was pleasantly delighted. Staff in general were polite and soft-spoken. Apple juice and croissants were served at a counter next to the reception desk for hotel guests. I m all praise for my 1st staycation with Bay Hotel and I would highly recommend this hotel to those who want a cheaper option to expensive hotels on Sentosa Island which cater to basic needs, comfort and a good value-for-money.

The room was a non-smoking room but there was very apparent ciga smell when I enter too. Both of these issues were nothing too unbearable though, since I was just there for one night.

Review 118：They actually upgraded my reservation to bigger room because i check in in the middle of the night, but however it is also small. The hanger for clothing is on top of the water boiler and coffee cups, you cannot hang shirts or dress there, only good enough for short pants. The shower and toilet separated, the toilet is very small, no toilet bidet, basically you will face the wall and can touch it with your hands once you seated there.

Review 132：The front counter staff are really good but I'm not too sure about the other back-of-house staff. Also, the shower head bracket is a fixed one, so you have to hold the shower head while you shower so that you can get the water where you want. There is a rain shower head available though if you don't want the hassle. Just be prepared that the shower and water closet will be in a frosted glass box virtually next to your bed.

Review 133：It is always nice to stay at the Bay Hotel. This past stay was the second time in 6 months that we stayed there, mostly due to location, as our activities were on Sentosa Island. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable enough. They provide you with a complimentary mini bar, towels, toothbrushes, comb, shaver, bedroom slippers and bath robes. All in all, it is always a pleasure to stay in the Bay Hotel.

Review 134：Stayed here because it's not too far from the cruise terminal. I know the rooms aren't the largest but it suited us. Great views, super clean, comfy and vivo City across the road. Excellent. Staff wonderful. Great night walk along the promenade to Sentosa. Just lovely. Would stay again if I needed a short term stay.

Nice people on the reception desk, we came around 7am on the morning and they gave us a free early check-in. Thats was very nice. But the room was on the 3rd floor very noisy, after i asked them ca we change a room, and we mooved to another room after 12pm, hotel gave us a room on the 10 floor very quite and nice:) Restaurant on the 1st floor not bad, a good choice of food:) Хороший отель, отличное месторасположение! Заселили в 8 утра, без дополнительной оплаты! Это было очень мило с их стороны, тк прилетели рано утром после долгого перелета. Вежливый персонал! Неплохой ресторанчик на 1м этаже.

Review 141：The so-called rooftop restaurant, an attraction because it would commandviews over Singapore, was closed but this was not advised in the blurbon the internet. The all-purpose restaurant at street level (there wasno separate bar - it had to serve as everything in which to socialiseand was not exclusive to guests) had no views at all. I suggested thehotel owed guests a discount for misrepresentation, but this suggestionfell on stony ground and was simply laughed off. I will not give afavourable recommendation; my assessment is negative.
