Review 1：This location is central to everything. You can park in secure lot and walk to the Island and several other fun places. The staff are so friendly and helpful it's just a pleasure to visit with them.

Review 12：The breakfast was one of the WORST that we have had in years. The biscuits were from Sam's Club (you had to microwave them), they no longer serve any type of protein (eggs/meat), the gravy was like water and not warm, there was no room to set, and even though it said that you were not allowed to remove any food or drinks from the breakfast room, the sweet older lady told us that we could take our stuff back to our room. The entire bottom floor smelled like chlorine, and the pool had so much chlorine it burned our eyes even walking by the room. The front desk people were not rude but not personable either, and the bed was like sleeping on the floor (definitely too firm for our tastes). We had confirmed for an early check-in, but when we got there two hours later than we had originally set it for, we were told it would be a minimum of two to three more hours before we could get in our room. And, the wifi wouldn't work on the third floor. Granted, the things that I looked for when booking were as follows: comfortable bed (nope), indoor pool (unusable), wifi (had to use my data), full American Hot Breakfast (ha ha ha), and close to the strip (the only plus but people kept stealing our parking that were not staying at JM to go to The Island).

Review 13：The location was nice because it was right on the Parkway. The bathroom was fairly clean and so was the room with the exception of the chemical smell.

Review 14：My main objective was to relax in the hot tub while the children swam. Tub was out of order the whole time.popcorn in the lobby was almost nonexistent .

Review 18：Entered the hotel and was immediately greeted with sorry no vacancies. Seemed annoyed when I told her we had a reservation. Also towels for the pool must be the most valuable asset at this hotel because staff was unwilling to provide them unless you beg and provide your room number.

Review 30：I reserve and pay for my grandparents to come once a year with their great-grandchildren, and they've always insisted on staying at James Manor due to the proximity to The Island; however, they both were very disappointed with the room this time and say it will be their last stay here. The bed mattresses were too small for the frames, and they kept tripping and hitting their shins on the frame. The couch in the room was very nasty. They said the overall room had a dirty feel to it, and they were very disgusted with their stay. This was heartbreaking for me, as I 'treated' them to this.

Review 69：The only complaint we had was that the recliner chair in the room had been removed and replaced with two straight back chairs and a coffee table. When watching TV, it wasn't the most comfortable setting. In our two previous stays at James Manor, our room had a comfortable recliner.

When we turned the bedspread down the sheets looked very wrinkled and not pulled tight. It looked like someone had been wresting on them,but they were clean just not neat. Also the dust ruffle around the bed had a big tear in.... Very disapointed
