Review 1：dirty bed, uncomfortable beds, VERY hot in room, loud with window open, no parking, staff gave misinformation about parking, pool was very unwelcoming and looked dirty, room was above party room, very noisy, staff had other rooms available, didnt help

Review 3：This hotel is old, tired, dirty and run down. The restaurant is arguably the worst restaurant in Kalmar. The hotel appears to cater for regular coach parties of munters.

Review 26：The public areas of the hotel, including lobby, corridors and restaurant, are very tired and depressing. The breakfast buffet was limited and not particularly tidy or clean. The price was rather high considering the generally low standard of the hotel.

Review 30：Breakfast area was dirty, not clean cutlery, no person to show you too the table (basically anyone can walk in from the street and eat), it is messy and dark in the room. Hotel is worn and does not come out as a 4* hotel in general, 3 maybe. The restaurant does have an allowance to serve alcohol but you are not allowed to bring a beer to your room since the hotel does not have such an allowance. This is really not a 4* hotel worthy. Rooms are renovated some years ago, but the bathroom was 70s tiled with broken tiles and mold around. No aircondition (seems to be due to the location of the building - seems though strange that no solution can be found the really warm rooms). The price does not reflect the value.

Also to put some more on the buffet, this happens veryhesitant. Starting to clear away the buffet sometimes happens before theofficial end of breakfast time.

Review 37：The elevators were not really working, as we had to push the doors together and pull them apart - which would have been non-acceptable if we were old or disabled guests. We also found the common facilities such as the lobby, the stairways and the corridors dark and with an old smell of tobacco smoke.

Review 47：Badly needs a renovation in the public spaces. Terribly worn materials/furniture, dark and depressing lobby, hallways, breakfast room and exterior. Clean though. Elevator doors didn't work properly. Not Swedish 4-star caliber. Regular room was tiny like a coffin, but we bought the suggested upgrade and that junior suite was fine for maybe 20 EUR more per night. Despite only 16C outside at night, room was very hot with no airco, so hard to sleep.
