Review 2：Well located & a good size for a family of 4. Very clean. Lovely courtyard. Quiet despite being on main street. On site parking. Close to everything. Hobart less than 30 minutes drive away so very accessible.
Review 3：This place, while clean, was grossly overpriced for what one got. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The facilities and provisions were average. Had the room cost $100 per night it would have been adequate.

Review 7：Loved the location - right in town and near the pub!!! Lots of attractions within walking distance so very convenient place to stay. Unit 1 was great and even had it's own courtyard. Very clean and neat. Well decorated.
Review 8：Situated in the middle of the Richmond village, it was easy walking to all shops and to the only hotel in the village. The rooms which were recently renovated, were fresh and very accommodating. We would highly recommend this place to anyone staying at Richmond.
Review 9：Although we didn't get to meet "mine hosts" of the Richmond Coachman's Rest, having arrived late in the evening and departing before reception opened, I had had several phone conversations with Mr David Rosewell and found him to most helpful & obliging. The unit we occupied (No. 2) was lovely & warm, clean & comfortably fitted out with furnishings. An excellent en-suite & shower. There was also a very nice private garden courtyard available had we had time to use it. Located in the main street of lovely & picturesque Richmond, a short walk from all amenities.

Review 15：My sister and I shared a room. It was very clean and comfortable. Excellent facilities (they even had nice coffee cups instead of those hideous, cheap, thick, small white cups you usually find in these places), fabulous bathroom. Excellent location, right in town.

Review 18：No internal decoration to provide atmosphere unlike most other B&B's. Absolutely no WiFi - to be fair it wasn't advertised as having any, but in this day and age WiFi shouldn't be optional.

Review 20：Stay a night to wake before the influx of travellers. Stay and enjoy walking the town and taking in the colonial architecture and craft galleries. If you are there on a Saturday the farmer's market is a feature.

Review 35：Arriving in Richmond in the dark , it took me a while to find the place . You need a lit sign for late arriving guests. Sorry I didn't have time to chat in the morning as I had to get to Oatlands then Bothwell by 9:30.
Review 36：The owners kindly stayed up for me as I arrived on a very late flight having travelled all day from North Queensland. I got lost [twice ] and had to stop for directions. The locals were THE best!
Review 37：Loved the history that is Richmond especially the Bridge and the pride shown by the locals is obvious in the way they care for their town. Ate at the Pub and Bakery and loved both. Would stay again.

Review 41：On arrival we were given the keys, they supply you with enough towels for our 2day stay and left us to it, helpful when asked. Otherwise no interruptions.
Review 42：Both cottages were built in the old style but almost new and well designed. Both cottages have a very pretty individual garden. Very well equipped and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and efficient.

Review 48：Great location, friendly helpful staff, comfortable and high standard facilities. We usually stay in Hobart and pay much more! Never again. The Coachman's Rest is great value for money but still a very high standard, only things missing were WiFi and Pay TV channels but we had our own portable WiFi and to be honest never missed the extra tv channels. Would highly recommend this property. They even supplied two umbrellas for our use!
Review 49：Carpet needed a good vacuum and perhaps a steam clean. Smelled like someone perhaps had a dog or cat in there recently. Otherwise was very modern, up-to-date, clean and well kept, so the dirty carpet was out of context. Kitchen was very tiny, with a washing machine where a dishwasher would normally be. Wouldn't be good for a long term stay but was fine for a night or two. No shampoo provided. No facial tissues provided (a particular pet peeve with me, just put a box out for us allergy-prone people please!)

Review 51：Price, size of room, cleanliness, great bloke running the place, location right in town car parked outside the door, microwave, felt clean spacious and just plain nice, little outdoor courtyard with a couple of chairs, this is a little gem if you need an overnight or couple of days in Richmond.
