Review 14：absolutely loved the staff and the cleanliness !!! We went to enjoy a pool and hot tub. We were disappointed as the pool and hot tub burned our eyes from the chlorine. Other small children were crying with burning eyes. Thus was our sole purpose of going. My husbands blue shorts turned purple and my son broke out in a painful rash even after showering three times, he missed school Monday because of this. Sad because everything else was fabulous !!! Hoping they fix it with us and fix the pool before someone with delicate skin gets in and had a major problem!!!!

Review 17：Toilet kept running all night causing my wife to have trouble sleeping. In addition we could hear what sounded like a gush of water going through water line to the toilet every minute or so. Pretty annoying.

Review 25：We enjoy everything. We come to Traverse City several times a year and have always been happy at AmericInn. The only reason to not stay is if one of our other favorites happens to be cheaper. You wont be disappointed.

Review 27：Wonder front desk service, very helpful. We checked in a few minutes early and the young lady at the desk was very pleasant about it offering us coffee and chocolate chip cookies. Later in the evening we used the wonderful hot tub, so relaxing.The room itself was very comfortable. The expanded breakfast was a very pleasant surprise-YUM.

Review 28：The location was perfect for visiting sites in and around Traverse City. The AmericInn was clean and everything you would want in an over-night or extended stay.

Review 29：The hotel was stylish, clean and had wonderful beds. In fact, when we stay at hotels my hips hurt in the morning, but they didn't here. The bathrooms were clean and everything was in working order and smelled nice. The breakfast was good with many options available. I would definitely consider staying here again if in the Traverse City area.

Review 30：The room we booked was nasty well the bathroom was, there was blackyucky stuff on the grout and there was urine running down the toilet, Ido not put the blame on any one who works there I put the blamecompletely on the owners of all hotels, because they do not give thecleaners enough time or the right stuff to clean with. Hotels shouldgive the bathrooms a really good cleaning with tilex at least 2 a yearthat would prevent the build up of mold and mildew growing on the grout,the grout should be scrubbed with a scrub brush, it is hard work I knowI do it every day. If hotels did this you would not be getting reviewslike the 1 I am giving.

Review 36：We ate breakfast in our room because there were no places in the breakfast room. Our cereal bowls, empty milk cartons, left over donuts were still there on the desk when we came back. Management informed us that cleaning staff is not allowed to touch anything that was the customers property. She went on to explain that if we left our suitcase on the bed, staff was not allowed to move it to make the bed. VERY strange policy but at the very least the customer should be informed of this policy with a card in the room or give the cleaning staff a card to leave behind to explain why the room wasn't cleaned as expected.

Review 38：I had ordered 4 rooms for my wife and myself, and 3 other couples. WhenI got there, the facility only had two rooms reserved. They did come upwith another room, but one couple had to share our room for one night.The facility gave a free room for the next night for the"orphaned" couple, but the whole episode was a bit of adowner. It is unclear whether the facility or Booking.com was the cupritin this mix-up. Btw, we had hard-copy confirmation, withBooking.com's "guarantee", but so much for guarantees!Other than that, the facility was quite nice.

Review 109：The screen in our room was ripped from top to bottom. The toilet paper roll metal insert was coming out of the wall and the toilet paper roll tended to fall out. The cleanliness of the bathroom and the room were only fair.

Review 111：The view out the window looked onto a row of apartments; huge piles of trash were in that yard--very close to the Inn's property. I realize AmericInn can't control that view, but it's really awful--looks like a slum. The refrigerator was noisy all night--next time I'm here I will just unplug it.

Review 115：The stay was ruined for us when a staff member could not follow posted rules about pool time for adults. (10 pm to 12 pm) At 10:30 pm I went to the pool area to enjoy a nice swim and soak in the hot tub. That is when I found it full of kids screaming at the top of their lungs. I went to the front desk and located the night manager. When asked about the posted time for "adults only," she asked me, "What do you want me to do - kick them out." In amazement, I just shock my head and went back to my room. Was it MY job to follow posted company rules?

Review 121：Getting out of the hotel into the flow of traffic was a little hairy especially if you were not going in the direction of the traffic flow as it is a very busy street. Bathroom fan did not work.
