Review 1：I didn't like that you had to pay for ice. I know that doesn't seek like much but you pay for a lot up there and most of the time we didn't have change so we didn't get any ice.

Review 2：I loved that the staff helped us find places to eat, and cleaned our room of we wanted them to. Just super nice!

Review 3：The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were way too hard. It would be nice if a couple of softer pillows were included among the four to six pillows provided in each room. Breakfast was okay. Eggs were good, but no meat on the morning we visited the breakfast room. However, they did have sausage gravy for the biscuits of which I did not partake, so others may consider that meat. Good view from room (small shared balcony) that faced the parkway, but the entrance to the room was on the backside of the hotel. Parking was tight, but it was a holiday weekend, so not complaining about that. I would stay here again in a pinch.

Review 4：there is no play area for kids, so if you plan to stay in hotel, better keep looking. Also, Room 329 - missing microwave, although at reception they told us each room has one. Not all rooms have fireplaces, and thoose that have are recently renovated, while other are older.

Review 5：First of all - this is not a luxury hotel. But since you checking out, that means you do not have money for luxury one, or want to save some. The rooms are clean, housekeeping, is coming daily to replace towels and bedshits if you need to. Breakfast is not much, but, hey - it is free, for such a low cost. I'll add it as a plus: cofee, tea, milk, cereal, gravy, eggs/sausages - it does not looks much, but is enough to start a day. And if you want something else, McDonalds and IHop is just several meters away. There are no many views from hotel itself, but you are in center of the town. Food shop is also not far. My rating will be a decent 7 out of 10. I'll stay there if you want to just explore the surroundings and be there in morning and evening.

Review 6：I thought we were getting a two beds in room and only had one bed. Most standard room has 2 beds this does not. Shower facilts was not working right could not get the water temperature right to hot or to cold. Room 114.

Review 7：Curtain covered the air output from the AC unit. I tried to hold it back with a full water bottle but it wasn't able to do it and the room was warm.

Review 8：Good location, really close to the Old Mill. Good price, I will try to stay there again on our next trip. Free breakfast...free is always good especially if it is good food. The cost for 2 nights was less than I've paid for 1 night elsewhere.

Review 9：We were charged extra for breakfast on Booking com but when we arrived found out the breakfast was free. I paid for 3 rooms and was charged extra and the hotel had no idea that Booking. com was doing this.

Review 11：This property is old and needs updating. The door to the room was difficult to open/close. The water temperature was either scalding or freezing. The hair dryer had a burned out plug on it so didn't use it.

Review 14：This was a last minute trip and I wanted to do some Christmas shopping. The room was large, with a gas fireplace, and had easy access to the elevator. The covered garage was well lit do I felt safe. Would stay again.

Review 59：The smoke detector was falling off the wall. Drywall was poor next to the ac. Asked for a upstairs room but got across from the pool and a guy screamed at his kids for 2 hours straight telling them to get out of the pool also told them 5 more minutes for 2 hours. Pool was small and the breakfast needed more options. Biscuits and gravy, bagels, eggs, donuts. NO Ketchup or hot says for the eggs, no jelly, and no cream cheese for the bagel. Also the oj tasted old.

Review 60：The room had a horrible smell of body odor and cigarette smoke. It came from the ac unit. It was unbearable. We asked to switch rooms. They let us see another room and it smelled the same.

Review 73：The fridge did not work, and the air wasn't cool at all. My family and I was sweating all through the night and our drinks wasn't cold at all in the fridge which made our stay even worse. This was our first and last time of staying here. So disappointed, it was horrible. And also to say the beds was not at all comfortable and the sofa bed was horrible. The mattress on it was stained and very thin. You can feel the springs through the mattress very easily. WILL NOT BE BACK!!!

Review 76：We had no problems. We travel one week every month. Have been in many hotels. After reading reviews I was nervous but as usual what we found was that people tend to write bad reviews about ridiculous things. I'm taking trips to see and experience what the city has to offer not to spend my time in a hotel room. I have extreme OCD and carry my own cleaning supplies like bleach & Lysol. All I did was Lysol the hard surfaces the room was clean. We missed breakfast each day so I can't comment on quality. Wifi was good never an issue with it.

Review 87：When we arrived in our room, mid-summer 100+ degrees. We noticed that itwas cool, just not hot. My husband is cold natured and it bothered him,but the kids and I were fine until overnight when I had to remove thesheets to stay cool. Then my daughter went to the curtain and a hugespider fell out and I saw like one or two bed bugs! We went to the frontdesk, who tried to say they had no rooms available, so I let her know wewould probably be checking out and wanted our other 5 nights refunded. Ileft the office and my husband wasn't satisfied so he went back andshowed pictures and they then gave us a new room. Yea....We had to stayin the hot room for about 2 hours until they finished cleaning the otherone. After that, the stay was great! And cool! We still noticed somebugs and I honestly would stay here again because the problem willdefinitely grow in time.

Review 100：Maid service was intolerable, had to call to have feces removed from the commode the first day. Free WIFI was non-existant during entire stay and received nothing but excuses from the staff. The lack of WIFI ate up my data usage program during the entire visit! And have to pay for ice?

Review 113：I booked a single queen and got a double queen. The room had a musty smell but an airfreshner took care of that. You can hear early morning traffic really well.

Review 119：When first walking into our room and turning on the a/c it smelledlike cat urine. Had to go buy Lysol to spray into a/c every time wecame back from being out.There were fleas in our room. The entertainmentcenter was so dusty that I wrote clean me on the top of it with myfinger and it stayed like that from the day we got there until the daywe left 3 days. The shower went from just right to either freezing coldor scalding hot without touching the knob. The bed was not comfortable,we asked for a queen and got a king size. We were put in the back of themotel one lane in/out with a mirror to see if anything was coming inthe opposite direction. Our room did not look like the pictures at all(no balcony, no anything). Will never stay there again. Booking.comshows that we gave this room a rating of 2.5 even though I actually gaveit a zero! That is why this motel has such a high rating.

Review 120：I can honestly say there was nothing that we liked about our stay atthe hotel.

Review 121：The over all condition of the room. Although the bed was comfortable, the room was in very poor condition. No, iron, no bag for dirty clothes. There was a musty smell and we were just very unhappy with how the room looked more like a shabby motel. We won't Stay there again. It was not worth the cost.

Review 123：We loved the fireplace even though it was a little warm the time of yr we stayed it was still amazing .the staff were all very friendly and the room was very clean I used to be a hotel inspector so I inspect the rms before I stay and they were clean just a little dust on the light bulbs and top of the headboard but everywhere was great we will be staying again soon .

Review 124：This was our second stay at Vacation Lodge. Friendly staff, great location and clean. They even recognized we were all together and gave us adjoining rooms with a shared balcony.
