Review 1：the staff did not inform us that we could get free daily passes for the monorail so paid to use it, its free once your on the island or getting off the island but pay to come over on it and the rooms were not serviced to very late in the afternoon around 5pm so often this is when you are coming back to get ready for dinner, we got this on a special deal or otherwise would not have chosen to stay at the usual rates

Review 2：comfy bed, rooms clean, great pool area and perfect for enjoying santosa island itself, can catch the monorail straight to mainland and use MRT for city travel, pleasant staff, would be good for families as it combines theme park activities and beach resort activities that are close to the city

Review 3：I was told that there is no wifi in the room and I have to pay $32 per day per device for wifi. My towel smelled of strong bleaching and gave me hay fever.

Review 8：Brilliant staff (in all departments) superb location for Universal Studios theme park. Bar has happy hour 6 - 9 and if u don't want $27 buffet breakfast (no curry) Starbucks is 5 minutes walk. Big room (but that dated open .plan bathroom thing)

Was initially informed that to get a room with king bed had to wait for about 1hr30mins before a room was available but was instead given a room on the smoking floor which is fine eventhough we requested for non-smoking. Was also informed that wifi is chargeable therefore no wifi and thank god we didnt need it though.

Review 37：Check in at 3pm when arriving on such an early flight. As a transit/stopover destination there should be several rates available for rooms, not just to pay an extra night if arriving early. Staff were helpful to get us into the room earlier though. Same for late departing flights, I saw families hanging in the lobby with children sleeping on sofas etc. wouldn't hurt to have a transit lounge at the hotel with tea/coffee/sofas/tv etc

Review 38：Great spot for a stopover in Singapore - heaps of cafes and restaurants to choose from, lots of action if you choose aquarium m, universal studios etc; ,nice to walk around Sentosa, and free shuttle buses and monorail make it easy to get around - loved it!

Review 45：I find the toilet tiles are rather slippery even with the bedroom slippers. It's rather inconvenience especially for a pregnant woman like myself. It's best to have a bar handle in the shower area. There is nowhere for my kids to hold on while taking a shower. There is no issue for adult but definitely not for young children.

Review 62：The check in staff who checked us in was not friendly nor helpful. Lips service but nothing was delivered as promised. Upon checking out, we met the same staff who checked us in. So I feedback to her, no apology just a look with the 'oh...there's nothing can be done'...and rushing to take the next guest whose in line.

Review 65：Hotel counter staff were slow and not welcoming in their attitude. But the man who took the bags to our room was friendly, and was nice to our kids. Room feels stuffy, poor air circulation. We had a pram so prefer to take the lift, but the way to the Forum was not properly signposted, we took awhile to find the 'secret way' to travel between the hotel and the Forum. The room was not very child-friendly. The sink was too high for my 4 year old to use. I had to carry him all the time, which was a nuisance. I asked the hotel for stools. but they were not available. The table provided was also too small, and there was only 1 chair. We cannot eat and drink coffee properly in the room, so annoying. The lights were also pretty dim, which may be romantic, but is not conducive when you are trying to do things.

Review 66：Pool with beach was nice, but the cracks in the poolside walkways were not filled in and are too rough, my boy had a bad graze when his foot fell in the crack. Our room had a nice view, we can see the Christmas tree on the skypark in Vivo.

Review 78：1) House keeping was relatively slow, waited for 45-60mins to check in to our room. Subsequent cleanings were done in a sloppy manner, balcony was leave untouch with drinks strain. 2) Breakfast, limited choice of food.

Review 83：Damaged items: the chandelier light was blinking, the tv remote didn't always work. The tv program kept hanging. Missing: there was no bath robe. The slippers were not the soft plush type. The lack of mirrors in the room made it feel like any other room. The bed was a king, when it should be bigger since the room size could afford it. Overall, the room just didn't feel special. I checked on the website which listed the price at close to $300 a night. That would make this room too expensive. Thanks to booking.com, the discounted price of $174 a night made it more palatable.

Review 84：The pool is amazing. The staff are polite helpful and professional. The toilet is really interesting with bright lights and a very clever cupboard which can be accessed in the toilet and along the walkway. The ice bucket and the ice machine was a very cool idea. Added to the rock star feel.

Review 85：No drinks in the mini bar. Housekeeping was not done for the 2 days I stayed there. I had to request for towel change, etc. Seems like there was a shortage of manpower at times. There were 2 incidences which I encountered. Firstly, it took 3 hrs (from the first call) before the concierge could come and collect my breastmilk for storage in the freezer despite me calling 3 times in total. Secondly, I was asked to bring down the breastmilk on my own subsequently.

Review 86：I was able to store my breastmilk in the freezer. Staff were very friendly. There is a pull out bed underneath our king size bed which is useful.

Review 91：the hotel room by default has pull out bed for free but when i inquired during booking, they said need to charge $60. luckily we did not top up $60 for the pull out bed. felt a bit dishonest and not reliable by the reservation staff. there was also no live band in the evening at the lobby, it will be better if there is, then it really lives up to HARD ROCK hotel! the mobile phone reception in the room was super lousy. once we draw the curtains close, there is no mobile reception at all. only when we open the curtain there is mobile receiption. there is also music zoukout event on saturday but hotel did not inform us in advance so the kids did not have a good afternoon nap due to the loud music. if we knew earlier we would have planned for some activities outside the hotel area. poor customer service and communication. there are also no children workshop or program even though now is school holiday season.

Review 92：even though hotel did not allow us to check in early but they took our registration so that at 3pm we just need to collect the door card. it would be better if they have queue just to collect door card at 3pm. i like the bed and blankets and pillows, very comfortable. they also provide beach slippers so that you do not soil your own shoes or slippers.

Why do we need to pay for wifi? What era are we in now, by the way? It starts from S$5 per hour, or S$30+ for a whole day! Even my roaming service is cheaper!

Review 115：It's location and semi-pruvacy. Room decor was good. Room was spacious. Pool view was fantastic, with minimal noise from fun seekers.

Review 119：I had wanted to collect my key card, which i had left at the reception before going swimming. While i was still soaked from swimming, the staff had asked me join the queue, instead of just reaching out the key card for me. Bearing in mind that my 3 young children were also soaked throug from swimming. We waited a good 20mins before we were served in the aircon and it was only a matter of seconds for the staf to reach out the key card to pass to me.

Review 131：Unpleasant experience during check in at counter.Queue time took about 20 mins or more and what made it worst was that the check in counter hotel's staff allowed customer that queue behind us to cut our queue. The hotel's staff served the customer which was supposed to be queue behind us. Reason qiven after the staff took 10 mins or more to served the cut queue customer was they came earlier before and forgotten to bring something so they came back to her later. We was not been explained earlier and just been ridiculously waited extra time for the cut queue family to be served before us!

Review 132：No main toilet door. Noises from the toilet can be heard from the bed. Very inconvenient when bathing as the person need to run outside to get his clothing, fearing of being seen by others. This toilet design is applicable for couples and not for families. Sound proofing of the room is not well done. Sounds from the pool can be heard clearly. Room 664

Review 133：Room is big and cozy. Staff have tried their best to accommodate to most of my requests.

Review 134：Check in was exceedingly slow. The hotel was seriously dated and showed signs of wear and tear throughout. The pool is locked off by a metal fence all the way around the perimeter which was obviously confusing guests both trying to exit and enter the pool area. Our bathroom was terrible with stains everywhere. The internet is charged at a ridiculous price of 5.99 per hour per device! Archaic. We opted to not wait in the long line for breakfast and went into the shopping area to have breakfast at Cedele. Fantastic food and inexpensive.

Review 135：The location is great, so easy to access Universal and the SEA Aquarium. The pool, once able to figure out how to access, is great for smaller kids with a sandy gentle slope entrance and a nice little slide. There was a trundle bed under the standard bed which or son loved. Also, worth mentioning is the bellman named Ariel who was an absolute delight.

Review 136：Music & PA testing started 8.00am with the same songs over and over - must have been preparing for an event.
