Review 1：Wasn't there for the view but opening the curtain to see only a fence 3 feet in front of us wasn't very appealing. The price was appropriate for the few shortcomings.

Review 10：We were located near the side entrance,#112 and with the high ceillings in the hall and the door not really sound damping it was loud with guests. One could also even hear more quiet conversations when guests were walking by. The breakfast was hot but the sausage was terrible,chewy with hard pieces of fat that could not be chewed. Had to be spit out. Bacon would have been a much better choice. Unfortunately we had the sausage both days.

Review 24：Super nice and efficient lobby staff. Heather, in particular, was very kind and capable in terrible circumstances (hotel had been through bad storm and power was out). She had our reservation and no problem with room key working. I was impressed that there was no panic though you could tell all the people in the lobby were not happy. Room window could be opened which was great and is rare in motels now (but it was secure so no worries when leaving open). Towels were like new, soft and fluffy. Shower floor was non-skid surface (built-in, which was wonderful.) While is was not a large room, it was exactly right in terms of desk, comfortable chair, furniture placement (for two people--one bed),

Review 59：A 3 star hotel at a 5 star price. Like most hotels in Traverse City, the Best Western is ridiculously overpriced. At $300 per night, you don't expect for the "non-smoking" room to reek from previous years of accumulated stale cigarettes, or that the hotel is situated in front of a noisy highway with zero natural appeal. At half the price, the hotel might be OK, but for what it costs during season, you'd be better off taking your vacation dollars to a hotel (or a city) that doesn't expect to earn a years' worth of income in two months.

Review 65：The mattress was very soft. The pillows were very small. The spa in the room is only accessed by steep stairs that were uneven. It was very hard to get used to the stairs, so we did not use it. Parking was tight. Lighting was dim.

Review 68：Our room was not conveniently laid out-there was no vanity/sink/counter in the bathroom. There was a small sink with very little surrounding counter space outside the bathroom. This was not convenient for shaving, cosmetics, etc. We have stayed there in the past and I do not remember our other rooms being arranged like this.
