Review 1：Internet connection not fully reliable that day, the "winter garden" is a matter of speech: a little bit fake for business dinners.

Review 9：The view from the window wasn't the best. But as always with hotels, if you book a singel room you will end up in the far end of the hotel.

Review 17：Room was terrible: - old fashioned, dirty, bath 4 inches away from the wall with an overhead shower and no tiles or anything to stop the water washing the dirt from under the free standing tin bath. Window was far too small for the room size, and opens inwards so we had to shut it when it rained. I would have been unhappy with this room eveb for half the price - Do not come here for a family room.

Review 48：We had a very nice stay in this characterful historical hotel right on the main square of the old city. Kalmar is a lovely place to visit.

Review 49：The room we stayed in wasn't that nice (in need of renovation). Some rooms have been recently renovated so try to get one of thouse. WiFi only worked in the reception area. The elevator was super small. Our babystroller almost didn't fit.

Review 54：Very poor hotel, the room seemed to me like a cell of the monks in a monastery. Bathroom was unconfortable, little and with a dirty tend to share the shower from the rest of the bathroom. Price is ten time more comparing the offer!

Review 59：We took the superior suite which looked nice and romantic on the pictures, but it was like an average hotel room which was disappointing as it was our wedding night. The shower looked nice but the water leaked out all over the floor. Breakfast was not the best as we had it quite late, so the butter had melted, and the food that was supposed to be chilled, was warm.

Another air conditioning (probably from the restaurant) rattled all day long outside the window. Considering the high costs for staying at this hotel I would have expected more comfort.

We had to park the car on the side street as the hotel's own parking lot was too crowded but parking is cheap and was possible very close to the hotel. There is also a beach very close to the hotel, which was very nice as the weather was rather hot.

Review 71：Survey questions do not match my travel profile. I travelled with a collegue If I recommend Kalmar, is it the city or hotel? I would recommend the hotel for business travelers but Kalmar city is boring, so I would not recommend it for pleasure.

Review 73：This is a lovely old hotel in a fine 1860's building. My room was very comfortable and quiet and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location for walking to the beach or exploring old neighborhoods. They offer free internet and a generous coffee set-up downstairs for early morning folks like me and parking is easy and free.

Review 74：The room was not clean! The floor was not vacuumed and we found manyhairs on the floor. The mirror in the bathroom was not polished, etc.Very bad when you book a 'superior-room'!!!

Review 76：The hotel was being renovated and there was scaffolding and plastic sheeting over the part of the hotel where our room was. This meant we had no view at all out of the window, which felt a little weird. We had no idea if it was sunny or dull or wet outside. Also, getting some fresh air into the room during the night proved difficult because the plastic sheeting was secured tightly over the window aperture.
