Reviews for Malatya Palace Hotel

Review 1:Dirty. No shower screen or curtain, so whole bathroom floor is wet all day. No drinking glass.

Review 2:Warm welcome on arrival. Cheap. Free breakfast and wifi. Wall bracket for shower rose, and hot water works.

Review 3:Shower needs soms maintainance.

Review 4:Helpfull staff, good beds, spacey room. And complimentary drinks and fruit at night. And they got US in touch with friendly tour guide Remo, for Nemrut. He's ace.

Review 5:the family room is small and breakfast is very poor.

Review 6:The location - right in the center of the city - although the hotel is hard to find if you drive a car; staff extremely helpful and friendly (especially the employee from Ghana who spoke excellent English; the other employees do not speak English but they make an extraordinary effort to make themselves understood).

Review 7:The rooms were very hot. Especcially the bathroom.

Review 8:The location is perfect. Nexr to the grand bazaar and the apricits market. Personel is very kind en helpfull.

Review 9:the receptionist was rude and also did not speak English. we arrived late at the hotel due to him and then he kept us in the lobby for 40 min to register our passports(at 3 am!, couldnt this just wait??). the morning receptionist was ok though, even if he did not speak much English also.

Review 10:good location and good price

Review 11:Breakfast was very poor once they did not have anything at 9 o clock. It was surprising. There is no parking possibility in front of the hotel. You have to tame the car to a parking lot and pay for it. When I mentioned this is not in the advertisement the receptionist paid for the parking fee. Anyway I think it is not correctly described

Review 12:Staff was trying to mame our stay pleasant.

Review 13:The hotel was very hard to find. The room stank of smoke. Was told that smoking was not allowed. The next day all of our clothes smelt of smoke. The bar fridge in the room had not been turned on.

Review 14:The person on reception was nice and helped us find a restaurant for our evening meal.

Review 15:The location is ideal, in the centre of the city on "Şemsiye Sokak" (umbrella street), near the near mosque and town square. The staff is personable and professional, with special mention for front desk manager, Murat. This hotel is for those travelling on a budget, but who like comfort. The wifi was excellent, the bed comfortable, the water hot and in good supply, and the AC worked well.

Review 16:Bu benim bu otelde ilk kalisim degil. Cok memnunun, ozellikle cok yardimci oldular, valizlerimi aksama kadar birakabildim. Temiz, konforlu ve cok merkezi konumda. Tekrar kalacagim otel bu otel.

Review 17:The furnishings were styled in the 1970s, but everything was clean and worked. Can't fault anything for the price and location.

Review 18:The staff at the hotel could not have been more kind and helpful... even after we had checked out. They helped us find everything we needed in Malatya. We got a great deal on price through booking.com, but they treated us like we were at the Ritz. So thankful.

Review 19:Nobody of the staff speaks English, and they are mostly young people. They are trying to be friendly, but in an annoying way. While I was sitting in the lobby, waiting for the time to go to the train station, and trying to do some of my job, they kept asking me questions just to ask me something, although they could see I was busy. Besides, it was awfully hard for me to understand their questions, since they were mostly in Turkish. Anyway, proper knowledge of English is a must, if you want to work in a hotel that also accepts international guests. Hotel itself is good, location is great, but you have to know the language to cope with the staff.

Review 20:The room had a stand to dry your clothes on. There was a surprise room service made of cake, fruit and tea on my second evening of stay.

Review 21:Staff does not know International language - English. No bar there as mentioned by Booking.com. They demand money daily if you are staying for many days.

Review 22:They are co-operative.

Review 23:the lift is so tiny, one can hardly fit with own luggage

Review 24:staff friendliness and hospitality

Review 25:Breakfast was soo delicious and hotel location in central city all you need is around.

Review 26:lift not work properly

Review 27:facilities should be better

Review 28:Very helpful friendly staff

Review 29:The room is new, nice and chic. Breakfast is excellent. It's really a value for money stay.

Review 30:Location, very, very nice staff

Review 31:Fiyat anlamında makul ve yer açısından iyi.

Review 32:Everything was great, I will go back to stay there again if I go to Malatya again.

Review 33:This is my second stay. It was great, staff is welcoming, good value. Recommended.

Review 34:Warm welcome, kind recestionists, in the super city center, always hot water and ac, clean, confortable bed...totally recommended.

Review 35:Everything else

Review 36:Location in mid-town Malatya, close to all.

Review 37:Breakfast needs a little bit of improvement

Review 38:Eventough staff hardly speaks any other languague and communication was challenging, they were extremely kind and helpful.

Review 39:Day staff did not speak English, rooms smelt of smoking, lift out of order, parking is 10 minutes walk away (no parking allowed in hotel street), difficult to find even with GPS.

Review 40:Clean rooms, good water pressure in shower, comfy beds and pillows, efficient aircon and wifi. Central area, lots of shops and restaurants . Accepted visa in payment.Price TL 330- for 2 nights in a triple room

Review 41:We had our room in the top floor (5th i think) but the elevator was out of order. We didn't have to carry our luggage by ourselves, so it was okay, but it could be inconvenient for old people or the handicapped.

Review 42:The location was good, near the Yeni Camii and the Apricot Market. The reception was kind and spoke good english. Breakfast was also varied and delicious. The room was clean and spacy, though the bathroom was a bit small for the size of the bedroom. Large bed, linens clean, equipped with fridge, TV and wardrobe. Overall, it was a comfortable stay for one night before taking the Nemrut tour.

Review 43:The hotel is located in the city centre and the hotel has everything you would expect for the money you pay for it. The rooms are super clean and spacious with flat screen tv and the breakfast is good too with a wide selection of food. The hotel staff was really helpful especially the hotel manager who speaks English very well and organised us a trip to Malatya for a fair price and when we asked for help he bought us the bus ticket to Erzurum. Highly recommended!!

Review 44:Breakfast was a bit disappointing.

Review 45:Though the staff speak only little English (same case gor other hotels as well), they are extremely kind and helpful. A spacious double room was provided, clean and tidy.

Review 46:The elevator was not working and we were on the top floor :-(

Review 47:The hotel staff is very friendly and very helpful. Only the managerspeaks english but this is not a problem for us. It was very difficultto find the hotel by car. One of the staff helped us to take the car toa parking house and it was payed by the hotel. The hotel is excellentlocated near all sight seeings, banks, restaurants etc.

Review 48:Service was fantastic! The staff did everything we asked for and even more than we expected. The perfect place to stay in Malatya. Very close to everything.

Review 49:The only negative thing I can say is that sound carries in this hotel!

Review 50:The Malatya Palace Hotel was a welcome surprise! Often, when you book aeconomical hotel, the quality is lacking. But Mustafa and his staff atthe Palace were fantastic. They were able to help us with asunset/sunrise trip to Mount Nemrut - they personally escorted us tothe copper and apricot bazaars (they are very close to the hotel) - andthey were always asking how they could make our stay more comfortable.Service was genuinely important to them! It definitely made us (as twoforeigners) feel welcome and at home! Also, the hotel has recently beenrenovated (I think) because everything was very clean and new. I woulddefinitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the beautiful cityof Malatya!

Review 51:Tiny elevator for one person and big suitcase.

Review 52:New hotel. Staff was very helpful and phoned the manager to speak to usin english and help with travel arrangements. We had a welcome hotbeverage and a fruit basket too.

Review 58:No reading light over bed.

Review 59:Central location. Comfortable. Staff very helpful.

Review 60:room deco style

Review 61:location

Review 62:Very best and nice hotel. I recommend.

Review 63:Poor facilities (lift not working and rooms at the 5th floor)

Review 64:Location in the center of malatya but quiet

Review 65:The master is very kind! I love this hotel♥.♥

Review 66:Very clean, quiet, good location, people very nice except one who is not
