Review 1：The accommodation was fine for our needs. The owners were very nice and kindly changed our room to the second level once vacated which we appreciated.
Review 2：Very pleasant, well maintained and comfortable room. We chose this place for location, but then were amazed at how nice the room was and also the porch facing the water.

I have seen reviews that $149 is not a deal in the Newport. Has anyone actually stayed in Newport?! $200-500 is what I've typically paid so this was great and we will definitely stay again!!!

Review 18：The pillows are like little bricks. I had a stiff neck both nights. Due to the fantastic location to the ocean the room was very humid. So humid that nothing would dry in the bathroom and at night it was sticky and cold. There was a dehumidifier in the closet alcove but no plug to use for it and also no instructions. Didn't know if it needed to be drained etc, so afraid to move it to a plug to try it. It should have been run on a timer. It was very uncomfortable to stay in a damp chilly room. Not enough plugs. Had to unplug things every night to charge our phones.
Review 19：Great location and very friendly accommodating staff. They offered us extra coffee and blankets upon check in. I liked that the room had a fridge and microwave. Also enjoyed sitting gout on the chairs and picnic tables at night to watch the sunset over the reserver that is on the back of the property. Very pretty location. Walking distance to beach and restaurants a plus!
Review 20：I didn't want the hassle/expense of staying in Newport and didn't want the string of chain hotels and restaurants, so this was perfect. Was fun to be able to walk to the beach and some great locally owned restaurants but was only 1 mile from Newport. Clean and well maintained. Friendly, helpful owners.

Sitting area as well as sleeping area. Restaurant nearby as well as small supermarket at garage within 3 or 4 minutes walk of motel.
Review 38：Little things such as the party going on in the room next to ours, and the tight parking area. The room was small but comfortable. Not modern but that was fine for us. We had some ants in the bathroom on day 2...but nothing terrible. We could have used more towels but would have asked if needed. We had to watch for spiders and webs outside the doors...it it's the season!
