Review 1：Old, thin and not too clean towel. Absolutely disgraceful breakfast! Nothing short of a disgrace. It was off-season and few guests, but if a motel keeps open and claim to serve breakfast, it should make an effort not to disgrace itself. Not only the little food served was old and stale, but the owners made an extremely successful effort to source the cheapest disposable cutlery: our knife was not even suitable to spread the cream cheese - it practically folded in two when trying - never seen such a thing in my life...

Review 2：Price! Nothing more to like really. Cheapest hotel we could find near Newport. Dated, road motel - you get what you pay for. Relatively clean and quiet.

Review 5：I didn't like the from desk. Someone so pose to be @ the desk at all time. But the door is open but no one is at the desk. It's not save. I was scare. That's while , I couldn't spend my second night. Otherwise, it's a great place to be.

Review 7：The only negative is the "Breakfast" if you can call it that. Everything is frozen and stale. My daughter enjoyed the cereal but the bagel I tried last time was just awful and this time I had no breakfast because they refused us after a certain time. As we were leaving we wanted to take something with us but they told us breakfast was over. So we had to eat elsewhere. This was not hospitable it wasn't like they were doing anything. No one was there but us.

Review 8：The beds were very very comfortable. We really loved the mattress, the pillows and the comforters were very comfortable and we were very pleased. We also loved the price and what it included: hot showers, shampoo, hair dryer, use of refrigerator, very comfortable beds and bedding, safe place, free parking, large screen tv, nice lighting and chairs. Bathroom was large enough for my husband to use it in a wheelchair. Very good experience. We would go back there again and have stayed there with family before.

Review 10：I was astounded by the value for the money. Older reviews suggested the hotel needs updating, but I didn't find that true at all. I was glad to find amenities that hotels used to offer in evidence. It's not the Hilton, but it doesn't profess to be. A very comfortable stay. Large-screen TV, high-speed internet free, comfortable easy chair with lamp for reading. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

If you want to stay longer, there will be a $10 per hour charge. Also, the first night, the neighbors on both sides of me were playing their tv's loud which prevented me from sleeping, but the others nights were okay.

Review 19：The price is high third rate motel (which this is), but compared to the outrageous prices of others, it's reasonable. Old food or blood spatter on lamp body, shade and wall; fuzzy picture on TV; sink 'stopper' does not hold water, sink drains slow, loud fan on heating system, everything is worn, chipped, stained and generally shabby. On day of checkout room access cards did not work, needed to get staff to 'fix' which would only let them work for one swipe, then need to get staff again (and they usually were not at the desk), etc. We were looking for a safe place to sleep and that was what we got - no more: ie out of the Newport area this would be $30 to $40 room.

Review 21：There springs poking through the mattress that I banged my leg on everytime I got in or out of bed. There was no chair in the room... Breakfast was NOT breakfast.. There was a waffle maker but no batter, 3 bagels, and 2 muffins and a few pieces of bread.

Review 34：The Hotel is close to some supermarkets / fast food-stores, a ten to fifteen Minute drive to downdown / Bannisters warf. The room was okay, there is a small breakfast area next to the Lobby, not very cosy but okay with coffee, cereals, toast and waffles.

Review 38：We were assigned to room 206 and upon entering the room I realized how filthy and putrid the room was, I was absolutely disgusted. The bedspread, sheets, and overlays were soiled and permeated with stains ( I wish to not think of what it could possibly be). On one of the beds the bed sheet was completely ripped and almost did not even cover the bed. How is this acceptable to your cleaning staff and management to rent a room out at over $200 a night and have the conditions be this way. The rooms were so disgusting that we even tried to book another room at a hotel down the road where the Wedding Shuttle was parked with no luck. Unfortunately due to timing before and after the event it was not permitted for us to ask to change rooms so we were forced to sleep in these odious conditions, leaving us feeling "dirty" the next morning. Not only were the rooms disgraceful, but the sink did not drain and the lock to the door was basically hanging off the hinges. We did not feel comfortable even leaving our belongings in the room for the duration of the wedding we were attending.

Review 47：Hotel staff's knowledge about New Port was poor.The bed was very hard and pillows were too flat. The area around the hotel was too industrial, didn't feel like we were on a vacation. At breakfast, the staff never cleaned the table top.

Rm 107 was adjacent to the parking lot and the window curtain did not close all of the way allowing light and parking lot in. Air Conditioner did not work properly. Room location was next to office so you could hear the phone and door to office open and close. Small pillows.

Review 75：the pool was not very clean and extremely cloudy. there was dirt on the bottom and debri floating around. My husband found two cups on the bottom of pool. The cable was out for the two days. room service did not clean the second day or replenish linens or anything. a/c barely worked. Toilet was not flushing (had to hold the handle down.) breakfast had almost nothing left both days and no cream for coffe and no cups the second day or anything even at 9:00-had to go out to eat. Inexpensive hotel but not given any of the extras that were mentioned online :(

Review 77：The breakfast offered was decent enough. It was ALL carbs. Waffles were very tasty, but would have preferred some fresh fruit like apples and bananas, and some protein like hard boiled eggs. Tea would have also been a nice option (I didn't see any- I may have missed it)

Review 78：Very clean room, lobby and eating area. The beds were comfortable and clean. Front desk attendant was courteous and efficient. Great proximity to many chain restaurants, and stores. Downtown Newport just about 10mins away.

Review 79：The room smelled musty, the air conditioning rattled the whole time, our bedroom door safety lock was broken, the outside exit door to the parking lot never latched, so for safety we needed to physically deadbolt it prior to sleeping. The first night we were told the TV didn't work but would be fixed, it never was... there wasn't even a cable box in the room. The breakfast was laughable, brown colored water that would never pass for coffee, watered down juice, stale cereal and we had to pile our dirty styrofoam dishes on the same counter as the food being served because the trash can was overflowing. But the finale of the stay was being woken up at 6:15 to the fire alarm and once outside being told that the alarm system is just faulty, like everything else in this hotel.

The long length mirror on the wall was very dirty, the TV screen was dirty and sticky, looked as if a guest before us opened a can of soda and it squirt all over; the door to the bathroom was very dirty and the toilet didn't flush unless we held it down the whole time. Our bed had many dirty spots all over the comforter. And lastly, the coffee pot was filled w coffee from the previous guest so we didn't get to use the coffee pot in the morning!

Review 100：The halls and room had a foul smell. A piece of lettuce was dropped on the floor and the next morning was covered with ants. The bed was made after our first night but the trash was not emptied and the drinking glasses we used were not replaced.

Review 109：The rooms are dated and not very clean. There were holes in the walls. Bathroom was tiny with no counter space on the sink. Every room smelled like old cigarette smoke. There were some bugs on one of the pillows in one of our rooms that we determined were not bed bugs, but still...GROSS!

Even for Memorial Day weekend, it was priced too high for the quality, but we needed a room and they had one. At $60 I'd have given it a decent review--not great, but decent.

Review 115：We had a wonderful stay this past weekend with my parents for their 47th Anniversary trip to Newport, RI. The hotel was very comfortable and clean...located just outside of the town of Newport. Super convenient with very friendly staff. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

Review 116：Breakfast was poorly executed; the milk was not refrigerated, the toaster didn't work, and the waffle maker was broken so it wouldn't stay level when flipped. There was no spray to keep the waffle mix from sticking. Cream cheese was available from a community container. No one was at the front desk most of the time and the lobby computer had an inaccessible password.

Review 118：No staff when we checked in - a maintenance guy named Alan from theTravelodge down the street was manning the front desk for unknownreasons. He only said he didn't work there and was called in to helpafter whoever was supposed to work "had to leave." Found thisout after I've given him my credit card and id to make a copy of.Some lights in room only worked if a certain switch was flipped (took awhile to figure this out). Black out curtain didn't close all of theway so the bright lights from the car dealership across the street shonein my face all night. Bed was hard as a rock, our backs were killing usthe next day. Linens had stains on them. Bathroom tiles have never beenscrubbed, full of dirt and grime. Loud, drunk kids were in the roomacross the hall and kept me up all night. Considering we were 20 feetaway from the front desk, I thought night staff would have saidsomething, but when I went to complain to see if they could do somethingabout the kids, there was no staff at the desk! When it came time tocheck out, there was no staff at the desk again. Dialed "0" tocall for assistance like the sign on the front desk said and was told tojust leave my room keys on the front desk and that no one would becoming to check me out or provide a receipt. We hated this place andwould have preferred a refund if it was possible. Not sure how thisplace stays in business when there is literally no staff to run it. Donot stay here unless you don't care about cleanliness or safety andjust want to save a few bucks. Would have gladly spent the extra$60+/night at a better place if there was availability. Lack ofstaff made me feel unsafe.

Review 119：Close to Newport. Cheap. The wi-fi wasn't bad.
