Review 1：the hotel and its furnitures are very new and clean The staff are very friendly especially at reception The reception's staff knows English fluently.

Review 2：The location of hotel is near to the city center and the sea 5 minutes by car , The staff are very kindly Mr.Ali the owner very helpful and can speak fluent English

Review 3：We booked this hotel as a stop off point on a tour round Turkey, we booked partly on recommendations of other reviews stating we should give the hotel a go. Unfortunately it was not for us. It was situated in our opinion the wrong side of the city, and very very noisy and busy, the otogar site is opposite but disused, heaven only knows how noisy it was before. there is a taxi rank on the corner of the hotel and all night we could hear their car radios, eventually we had to phone reception to ask them if they could turn them off. We did not find the beds particularly comfortable, or the rooms well decorated or appointed. Breakfast was average.

Review 7：Myself and five friends ( all ladies ) on our return from a week traveling Turkey decided to yet again look on Booking. Com for a Hotel in Mersin . We all live in Turkey and between us have a great deal of experience of hotels in Turkey . After reading the reviews we decided on the Sultan and all I can say IS none of them give a true picture of this lovely Hotel . It is situated in a perfect location to get around Mersin albeit very much a business hotel but it also has the feeling of visiting friends and family . The hotels manager should be awarded a gold star for his running of the hotel and his staff who without a doubt equal any staff of a 5 star plus hotel well done to you all . All of us feel we cannot say enough about our stay there every need and some was met . So for anyone visiting Mersin either passing through or staying a few days please book the Sultan Hotel . I feel I have to comment on the beds and bedding , Top Class so you can be guarantee a good night's sleep.

Review 8：This is a very 24 hour location, next to Otogar. Sirens, horns all night.If you want peace and quiet this isn't the place.

Review 9：We were greeted by staff, made very welcome and due to our non existent Turkish,helped with onward bus booking and guidance how to get around city.This a basic hotel only a short walk to Otogar.It served our purpose and we would recommend to others. Good value.

Review 10：While it was nice to be close to the bus station for convenience, the hotel is a bit removed from the more vibrant parts of Mersin. It was not any trouble though--a nice twenty minute walk or a short taxi or bus ride would take me to downtown.

The staff were incredibly sweet and the room was spacious, clean and had everything I needed. The internet speed was fantastic and reliable. The staff was always helpful and eager to do whatever they could to make my time at the hotel as comfortable as possible. And free coffee! Who could ask for more? The location was very convenient across the street from the bus station so getting in and out of the city was a breeze. The hotel is on a nice street with plenty of delicious and affordable restaurants that are open late.

Review 45：The Manager, Mr Ali, and staff is so professional, kind, polite, they take care of any single need you may have. when i arrive in airport, the company quataria... they lost my bagage, Mr ali after tel him about this problem, he call the office in airport and fix the problem,next day he pick up me in his car to Adana airport to recive my bagage, nothing is impossible with Mr Ali , trust me i cant do that alone cause i dont speak turkish language...its not easy to find someone spek other language like english ,but he can speak all the language also his staff....... in hotel The hotel is clean, lux and in the perfect location,i feel in home , the taxi, or the station is literally 5 steps away The breakfast is just AMAZING as well, mend it sooooo much. Review 46：I decided to book a room at the Sultan Hotel based on the reviews I hadread and I was not disappointed. From the moment I was met at theairport, the service was excellent all the way. At no point in time didI feel unsafe in the hotel although I was a female travelling alone. Theroom was of good size with a comfortable bed and fresh smelling sheetsand above all the room was clean. The internet connection was also good,which to me was very important. Breakfast is served in the hotelrestaurant and the spread was adequate with an assortment of breads,cereals, fruits, spreads, cheeses and hot items such as eggs andsausages. There is an outdoor terrace where you can have your meal or adrink. All of the staff was helpful, polite and went out of their way toassist in every way. The manager of the hotel, Mr Ali, speaks very goodEnglish and has a very positive attitude. He is extremely friendly,helpful and knowledgeable and went above and beyond the call of duty. Heis unlike any hotel manager I have met, no problem was too difficult tosolve and no question was left unanswered. The hotel is situatedopposite a bus terminal which makes it convenient for those travellingto other parts of Turkey. It is also easy to catch a cab just outsidethe hotel if you need one. There are small cafes close to the hotelwhere you can have a meal and there is also a small pastry shop a fewdoors away from the hotel where you can buy good tasting Turkishpastries. This is the most hospitable hotel I have stayed in and it wasa wonderful experience. If you ever find yourself in Mersin, I recommendstaying at the Sultan Hotel. Review 54：Not a very clean carpet in some rooms. Not a very good location unless you are going to use the bus station 10 meter away. BF could be better.
