Review 1：The bed was too hard and too small. Should have had a coffee table in front of the lounge in our room to put a drink or magazine. Motel doors needed rubber pads as they banged loudly if you let them close on their own. Needed a sail cloth at the motel end of the pool for shade as it was too hot to sit there. Ideal spot for it as it already has the buildings to attach it to.

Paying for a luxury adults retreat and we received and average family oriented resort with faulty air conditioning in restaurant and foyer . Water pressure is very poor in the shower . Previous stay the spa near the pool was out of order for our entire stay. For the price we expected more.

Review 10：The pool is quite shallow and not very big which is great for kids but not so much for adults. At this time of year there are a lot of family groups which makes for a noisy poolside.

Review 13：When my wife turned on the spa, large amounts of hair, skin flakes, dirt and grime was expelled from the jets. However, we have stayed here a number of times without complaint.

Review 14：The restaurant was very warm and it would have been nice if they had some nice music playing. As there was a half hour wait for my meal and I was traveling alone.

Review 15：Restaurant was very hot at dinner time. Air conditioning either not on or not working properly, Service very slow - not enough staff. We paid for a child's ice-cream that we didn't wait for as it was past her bed time. Room pillows were uncomfortable and shower pressure not that great.

Review 17：Customer service. Desk person did not return my two travel cards. The bill came to $170, the cards were worth $100 each. We were told that the $30 remaining would be lost to us or we could have a continental breakfast to use the $30 up. Pretty rude I thought.

Review 19：I Love arriving at Madison knowing that I don't have to leave - it is a one stop shop - Clean rooms, beautiful and affordable food, drinks at the pool bar, massages, sauna, plunge pool. Love it all!

Review 37：One of the most expensive rooms in Echuca that night - $335 - and breakfast not included ! Cheaper to go to Melbourne. Disappointed with both check-in and check-out staff, they were "indifferent" and loath to converse, didn't bother asking if we enjoyed our stay - I suspect they get told "no" too often. Also, no Spa treatments "available" even though salon empty! Our room was next to the Cleaner's room and they were very noisy first thing in the morning. Uncomfortable to shower and dress with Cleaners pushing carts and running up and down the path outside the door .

Review 41：On two occasions I had to attend the front desk with different staff each time. The first time I had to wait 10 mins as it was unattended at 12.30pm. On both occasions there was no welcome or professional conduct. I actually had a better welcome from a sweet older lady who was the cleaning lady with her lovely smile and "Good morning''. The room also has ants crawling around the spa and coffee making areas. I wont be staying here again.

Review 43：When we were at breakfast the waitress asked if we would like a cappuccino, and gave us the impression it was included. When we checked out it was charged to our room. Only a small thing but needs to advise that there is a cost.

Review 54：This is our 3rd visit. We love the gas log fires and the spa in the trees. We spent one day sitting on the floor in front of the fire reading while it rained. Rooms were quiet and the view into the gums was peaceful.

Review 55：Remote for split system heating difficult to work. We discovered later in the am that you needed to press very firmly to get a response from the controls. Consequently we awoke to a very cold room (outside temperature -1 degree and not enough extra beding. No crocker except cups and saucers in the room to help with self catering.

Review 79：This place is a glorified motel & not a spa retreat as advertised. The place charges you for everything ie DVD player, wi fi, use pool, bikes etc. there is nothing complimentary. Luckily I bought my own bubble bath. You even need to ask to borrow a bathrobe!

What we saw was good, room was clean, price was ok, nothing amazing. Spa was good, breakfast the next day great. Room did have a nice inviting appeal when the lights went on.

Review 108：Air conditioner dripped water all night. Toilet didn't refill properly needed to remove lid and hand fill with kettle. Had to pay for bubble bath. Needed painting. Mould at bottom of shower. Not impressed. Would not stay there again.

To top it off, after we decided to be considerate and not use the spa, someone nextdoor or nearby started up their spa which interrupted our sleep.
