Review 1：The pool's wather could be little bit cleaner but the other places were very clean.

Review 5：1. The breakfast staff was a little short. Only 2 people to serve numerous clients. We had to wait about 15 minutes to ask for a tea (this wasn't serve at the buffet). 2. The room is not soundproof. On Friday and Saturday night we listened to music from the restaurant below till 23:00-23:30 . Yes, we had the misfortune to assist to two events organized there. And a little bit of dust found on the tables in the room.

Review 7：Our room was facing the road and you could hear the cars, wasn't too big of a deal as it wasn't really bad but it bothered me slightly, in winter the rooms are way to hot, I couldn't sleep and had to open the doors to get cold air in. You can't control the rooms heating individually and they said they can't turn it down, maybe some advice to the hotel to check it out. But otherwise a great great place and highly recommend it

Review 17：The room is "smoke free" because the new furniture covers the cigarette smell. We have to put wet towel under the door to stop smoke from coming in. It's such a nice hotel and yet they let people smoke freely in the lobby. We had to hold our breath walking through the lobby. I understand this is a huge part of local culture, I guess them the hotel have to decide on their clientele or, toughen up their smoking policies (i.e. Make smokers pay for the clean up fees.). Customer service could be better too... Only the girl at the front desk knows how to smile. The other guys seemed like they couldn't care less.

Review 18：The fact that the hotel is brand new... Sure there's a bit of construction, but the rooms are still clean and facilities are still working. I said "still" because I'm not sure the hotel can keep up the current condition if management don't smarten up!

Review 19：Staff mostly unfriendly and unhelpful. Internet didn't work for half my stay. Noisey at 8am with building works. Not told about works nor given explanation or duration for Internet failure (which I saw was due to hotel having servers replaced)

Review 21：When we arrived there was renovation underway and the whole lobby was being whitewashed. The OK part of it was a paper sign, apologizing for the inconvenience. I disliked that the staff tolerated a large group of elderly German people who were holding discussions in the restaurant at breakfast, thus disturbing other guests of the hotel with their loud conversations. We were not informed that the room which we changed against extra pay featured a second level, involving a staircase. Neither was I informed that the two rooms I booked are not neighboring ones.

Review 22：- I booked this hotel for its location, 4-star category and on-site restaurant. The hotel’s location is easy to find even without GPS – it is situated along the main road leading from Medias to Sighisoara. It offers parking spaces for hotel guests. The service at the restaurant is excellent, the food is tasty, though deviating a little from traditional recipes (namely the salads). The staff, as a whole, is well trained for a 4-star hotel. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well-furnished and the beds are very comfortable. The view towards the old town is beautiful and worth the money, as the old town itself is within a 10-minute walk. I definitely recommend this hotel and I will stay again here.

Front desk (Riuxandra) was incredible. She went way beyond to accommodate us... offering suggestions and arranging private drivers. Super friendly, professional, and smiling! We also enjoyed Adrian the bartender in the lobby. They both made our stay extra memorable!

Review 25：The breakfast was poorly managed. Clean plates were hard to find, food was not replaced fast when it was gone, natural peach juice in the orange juice compartment (I am allergic to peaches). Plus they had some flooding problems. It was raining outside and inside...

Review 26：The room design was nice and cozy, the pool was OK, if you will not consider that the sauna was working when it wanted and the slippery flooring.

Review 27：Extremely clean rooms, comfy beds, very nice garden with live music during evenings, very close to the citadel.Unfortunately, we didn't have time to go for the spa. Breakfast was not amazing, but there is enough to chose from. Ask for a room with garden view (not facing the main road).

Review 28：Breakfast closes very early for a leisure hotel, if you're not well informed you can miss it. The buffet was always missing at least 3 types of food. We waited 20minutes to refill the hot dishes ... very bad service and waiters without interest in guest satisfaction.

Only after I told the reception that we are very unhappy and this was not the room that we paid for our room was changed.

Review 32：Very clean and big rooms, the staff was really friendly. We chose the hotel for the swimming pool and we did not regret it. On Saturday night, there was a wedding party in the restaurant on 1st floor but the rooms are really well separated from a restaurant by a door and a hallway and we haven't heard any noise. The time spent in Sighisoara was great.

We found one nice girl serving in the restaurant, that is it, everyone else was rude and sourly. Review 43：The perfect place to stay in Sighisoara! The room was large and clean, the twin beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in at a hotel. The pool is large for hotel standards and very clean, the spa was fantastic, I booked a massage twice and it was great! The breakfast was really nice, with plenty of food to choose from. The service was perfect, we got all the help we needed at the reception.

Review 55：My room is split level,the bedroom is upstairs and it is very warm, as the ac is downstairs and the cold air can't go up. There is a fan but is very noisy when it is on. Breakfast is poor both in quality and quantity. It wants a very busy morning, but bacon, milk, juice and bottled water were kept running out.

Review 56：The hotel is not right in the city centre, but very convenient to go everywhere. I chose this hotel because It has a swimming pool and spa, helps relaxed after being outside under the hot weather. Most of the staff members are not very fluent in English but they are very polite and helpful, you can feel that they genuinely want to help.

Review 59：The hotel manager cancelled our reservation one day before our trip. The reason was that a group of tourists needed two more rooms and the hotel manager couldn't refuse them. So be careful if you make a reservation at this hotel. The "booking.com" clients are not a priority for them.

Review 61：- the light on the hallways were turned off by default on all floors. This made it a bit weird walking around trying to find our rooms in the dark; - on checkout, none of our credit or debit cards were accepted and the staff did not know what to do with the payment terminal. The cards worked perfectly fine on the ATM next door, but the staff kept asking us: "Did you forget your PIN?"

Review 62：- we were greeting by the most friendly person at the reception; - the terrance in the back with the live music created an amazing atmosphere. Too bad we arrived too late. - the pool has clean water and a good temperature. - the food was tasty - the view over the old citadel, breathtaking.

Review 63：The room I had was on 2 floors, with the bed in the upper roof level. It was not till I was leaving the next day when I found the switch to turn the air conditioning on on the upper part of the room. It could do with being labelled. The spa was quite far from my room and you have to take the stairs to get to it. But these are minor quibbles as the hotel is quite cheap.

Review 65：The air conditioning as terrible. We could not control it from our room and it never was cool enough to sleep comfortably at night. We had to open our windows instead, which meant lights from outside flooded our room. Breakfast was cold and underwhelming.

Review 66：Staff as very helpful, beds were very comfortable and the pool and spa were terrific. The location was convenient to the old town. Tthe rooms were clean.and the hotel ell maintained. Generally a good value for the cost.

Review 67：The hotel organises banquets and wedding parties as well. The only thing is that some parties takes place at the first level, just below the rooms. Nothing unusual up to know, only that there is no insulation between the first and second floor and you will not be able to sleep for as long as the party lasts. And believe me, they listen to very loud music! So, I couldn't sleep until 5:30 a.m. when the music stops. I talked to the receptionist and there was no way to give me a room far away from that area. They were fully booked; may be they were booked by the people who were at the wedding :-( So, when you book a room you need to pay attention to a minor thing such as the location of the room. Review 69：room was not cleaned when we checked in so we went for lunch and walk but the room wasn't cleaned even after we returned (after 3hrs) and we had to wait in the room while the cleaning lady was doing her job. Staff is not profi, they forget to bring you different things(milk for coffee), someone to fix the AC. Overall facilities for 4* but personnel for 2*.

No bathtub curtain for the rooms with bathtub, and water stays in pools on the floor, not flowing away. You can hear everybody through the thin walls. Noisy on the side facing the national road.

Review 101：Parts of the hotel were a bit tired -- a small amount of the wallpaper was peeling in our room, and reception and bar area was dark and smokey. We were a little disappointed that the spa didn't have the staff available to book the massages which were advertised around the hotel and we also were a bit surprised when the towels we left on the bathroom floor one morning weren't replaced when the room was made up that day, although they were happy to change them when we pointed it out to the reception staff.

Review 102：The location is perfect for visiting the Citadel city and surrounding areas. We visited in winter and the room was lovely and cosy, the bed comfortable (with massive pillows!), and the view from our room's balcony at the back of the hotel was fabulous. The hotel's restaurant has a very extensive menu from traditional through to modern and portions are tasty and generous. What few interactions we had with staff were friendly and helpful.

Review 105：The pool was closed two days out of four. For the other two days, we couldn't use the pool and spa, as the temperature of it was too low (24-25 degrees Celsius). Also, on the corridor that we had to use to get to the Spa, there was very cold. We chose the hotel for the Spa, and we paid to have it, but we didn't, so I would probably recommend it for the summer, when the refreshing water would be a plus.......

Review 112：It wasn't very clean, the walls were dirty, the furniture was dusty. The first room we received smelled bad, but we were able to change it to a nicer one. At midnight, we were waked up by cold air coming from the ventilation. We cald the reception and they stopped it... no idea why they started it in the first place. After returning to this hotel after 2 years, the overall feeling is that things changed to the worst. A little more cleaning and maintenance would change a lot.

Review 113：We liked the location, there is private parking, the staff is nice. We didn't like the smell in our room and they changed it imediately. Although there are parties/weddings in the restaurant, no noise could be heard in the room.

Review 115：Hotel Cavaler has the advantage of being a luxury hotel just outside the old city. Far enough to enable four star quality, including elevator, and close enough to reach the old city with a lovely short walk or cab ride. There is plenty of parking space at the hotel. Our room had a large balcony (although connected to the neighbors' balconies) with wonderful view of the old city.

Review 116：We travelled to 4 cities/town in Romania and this was the best hotel for comfort BUT the worst breakfast provided! Even after complaining in the nicest possible way to manager, there was still no black tea the following morning and the 'hot' food was still cold (told them it needed to be covered). Selection also poor and staff invisible. A new management team could turn this into a great hotel.

Review 123：Although room had individual temp control, it was "over-ridden centrally. I set to 16 degrees C overnight and it was only down to 22 so too warm for me. Locals apparently felt the temps had gone autumnally cool at 25C during the day and 18 or so during the night. I think the controls should be left to the huests. Toom many of the hot items for breakfast were put out at once so they started to look less appetizing after half an hour or so. Less more often would have been better

Review 132：It deserves 5 stars! Indoor pool is perfect, with the bar outside if you fancy a refreshment. Add this to the relaxation room, the finnish sauna, the vapor sauna, the cheap affordable massages, the great and luxurious executive rooms, with the fluffiest beds I have been, nice mini-bar, great shower, etc. Located extremely close to the citadel which is a must see on its own. Amazing hotel and city experience. Wish we had stayed longer.

Review 133：It was advertised as a summer special deal including dinner... when we got there they said no, wrongly advertised, and that others had come in with the same request. There was no attempt to rectify or make an adjustment. Also no hairdryer when it said there was. There was air-con but you couldn't adjust it to cooler.

Review 134：Clean. Modern. Great mattress and pillows. Close to old part of city.

Review 135：Most stuff was very helpful some stared us a bit weird. Steam bath had a weird smell. Nothing major though.

Review 136：The bedroom was amazing with big tv! Very high tech room and extremely clean. It was an indoor swimming pool sauna and steam bath. Very good breakfast!

Review 137：Rather poor breakfast at 9.30 am in the weekend. Also on Sunday morning I could here the bells from the church which is located right in front of the hotel. Another weakness: the reception area allows smoking which is a big issue for the non smokers

Review 138：Great hotel and location. It takes maximum 5 min by foot to reach the fortified medieval village - which is wonderful. The reception area is very nice - you can order drinks from the inside bar or you can go outside at the terrace (Terasa Domnitei) where you can drink and eat (low prices and nice staff) The hotel has own parking places (also underground ones). The rooms are big, modern and clean. Big LCD TV, modern bathroom but with a vintage look. The bathroom floor was warm. The room has also bath/pool wraps and slippers. Spa area is pretty big - 2 sauna rooms, one relaxation room, pool and 2 massage rooms.

Review 139：the stuff was terrible, not professional at all, not enough stuff, really they don't know and understand customer service at all, the breakfast was absolutely awful! go outside and have breakfast in the old town. the location is outside of Cetate, you need a car or quite a long walk to get to the Cetate
