Review 1：That we could only stay for one night.

Review 2：Warm welcome. Lovely, spacious room. Quiet location but only a few minutes walk to shops and slopes. Adequate parking spaces. Excellent restaurant, popular with guests.

Review 3：Family owned and very friendly and helpful. They even carried our heavy luggage up and down the stairs for us! They helped us navigate the area with lots of maps and ideas. The restaurant was quite good as well. We had an awesome view from our room.

Review 4：Gregor and the staff were fantastic and very helpful. The room was bigger than most we've stayed in on our trip and very clean. They let us put our bicycles in the basement storage - safe and sound. The food is excellent and lots of choices for breakfast. Thank you for making a great trip even better.

Review 6：A beautiful hotel both inside and out in a quiet location. Our room (Eva) was recently refurbished to a high standard and had a great view from the balcony across to the Triglav mountains. We booked for half board and were not disappointed. Meals were excellent, plentiful and with much choice. We were travelling to Croatia and this was a one night stop-over on our way south, but both the area and the hotel made it a 'must' for a 2 night stay on the way back. The Hotel staff were warm and welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Would strongly recommend and would happily return here.

Review 8：Food is superb. We stayed in 9 hotels in Slovenia and ate in various restaurants. The food here is brilliant and lots of veggie options. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Great relief after arriving late, soaked and after 6 hours cycling.

Review 9：Incredible excellent service: we arrived soaked by rain on our bikes and our cloths and shoes were cleaned and dried. Apart from that: very friendly personnel, good rooms, great food in the restaurant (even with fresh picked mushrooms from the forest) and an excellent breakfast.

Review 14：Everything. Being a true family owned and operated hotel, the passion, attentiveness and service quality is exceptional. We also ate in their restaurant 6 times in 5 days. It is that good!

Review 16：The Miklic is beautifully maintained with geraniums on every window sill. The rooms have spacious balconies with lovely mountain views. The food was excellent, freshly prepared and served by friendly, enthusiastic staff.

Review 17：Only complaints were weak to non-existent wi-fi in our room. Also, no lift, but staff were happy to help with luggage. However, we had a third floor walk-up, my wife has arthritic knees, and there wasn't much staff could do to help that.

Review 19：Our room was a bit cold the first night,-no heating although the temperature had dropped that day, but the staff put the heating on in the room when we asked, so no complaints. A kettle and teabags in the room would be good, although to be fair, this doesn't seem to be standard.

Review 20：They were very helpful when I accidentally booked the wrong dates and changed them without charge. Lent us a map for hiking and good suggestions. All the staff were great.

Review 21：Dinner was delicious and what a surprise to see a salad bar! We were traveling with our bikes and appreciated Gregor's help with our planning and answering our questions. The whole Miklic family is warm, caring, and happy to see their guests. Highly recommend!

Review 24：Location is excellent, only 50 metres to the ski pistes. We ordered a HB, which was more than enought. The owner and memebers of his family is always in the hotel and ready to help.

Review 26：My room was very warm and I felt uncomfortable opening a window on the street. Odors from the kitchen came into the room in the daytime. I tried to change rooms but was told none other was available.....

Review 28：There is nothing to say here! To start criticising it would be nitpicking in the extreme.

Review 29：The warmth of the welcome was exceptional, the food was brilliant, the staff were without exception courteous and thoughtful and the help from the manager in planning our time there was outstanding. I would, without hesitation, go back to the same hotel if revisiting the area.

Ample free parking, good breakfast, although it appears others were being served items NOT on the buffet options but we did not see anything that told you this was possible. Review 31：In a nutshell, everything - the brilliant stuff, the delicious and varied food, the spacious rooms (we were upgraded for free to an apartment), the comfortable beds, the attention to detail, the location. The owner, Gregor, couldn't be more helpful; it felt like we were his personal guests. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends and will definitely be returning.

Review 35：Very helpful staff and owner who could not be more helpful in any area. I was travelling with my 22 year old daughter and had asked for a room with twin beds - the owner Mr Miklic was so considerate that he gave us suite with 2 rooms at the same price! The management and staff were all very caring and it was more homely than a hotel.

Review 37：As a woman travelling on her own, the reception I receive on arrival dictates my holiday. My welcome from Gregor on arrival could not have been better. Everyone at the hotel is a delight, my room was virtually a suite! The breakfast is amazing and I felt at home immediately. I won't stay anywhere else when I visit Kranjska Gora. I have been visiting the area off an on for 12 years, but I discovered hidden tracks and information from Gregor that I didn't know before, he is the Oracle of all things!

Review 38：If something; we stayed in room Tina which is on the top floor an has pitched roof i.e. it is easy to hit your head if you don't watch out. (but no big deal). Then there could be some more vegetables with the food. But these two thing is very close to embarrassment to mention.

Review 39：The owner Gregor is fantastic, energetic and an information source of no end to the mountains and the valley. He shares this with full enthusiasm (even though it is probably the 100th time). I will definitely come back to explore more of the Kranjska Gora mountains.

Review 90：Superb hotel and wonderful staff who went well out of their way to make us extremely welcome and to guide us with advice on walks and things to do in the region. The room was lovely and certainly beyond the price, and the food was the best of any restaurants in the town. When I stupidly left my passport in the hotel the family drove it over two hours away to the airport so we could relax and enjoy our holiday. All in all a wonderful hotel in a beautiful little town and service that was totally above and beyond. We will certainly be back. 5 stars all round.

Review 91：We stayed in Hotel Miklic for 6 days. We had a suite which was very clean and comfortable. I am sure individual rooms offer the same high quality. We love to hike and Gregor was a wealth of information for us. He went out of his way to go over maps, tell us about good hikes and advise us on the daily weather. Breakfast was very good. We ate dinner there twice and it was excellent. The entire staff was friendly and helpful.

Review 98：Even before we arrived at Hotel Miklic the manager, Gregor, was most helpful with some necessary changes to the booking. From the minute we arrived, we were treated in the most hospitable way, given upgraded rooms that were available, and every support and advice to make our holiday a great success. I cannot speak highly enough of this lovely, friendly hotel and the excellent value for money. We dined each evening in the hotel restaurant and were very satisfied.

Review 99：I have travelled the world extensively and can honestly say this was the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. It was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, the staff were extremely welcoming, and it was conveniently located for the slopes. The restaurant was excellent also. I'm almost tempted to keep it secret - a perfect place to stay, one which I cannot rate highly enough.

Review 100：We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in room 'Gregor' which was a very large comfortable room with a large balcony with great views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. Our room was very spacious with both a double and single bed in the room. There was also a large flat screen tv with a large selection of channels (including english speaking channels). There is secure underground garage parking - free of charge, and also parking spaces in front of the hotel. Breakfast is very good and there is a huge selection to choose from, including hot and cold options. The restaurant is also very good and the quality of the food is superb - we were really impressed. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and all speak very good english. The town is only a 5 minute walk where you will find a good selection of restaurants, bars, supermarket and various shops. We loved our stay in Kranjska Gora, it really is a beautiful location and I would highly recommend visiting. For those who ride motorbikes, it really is a must to visit this part of the world, there are some great roads, including a mountain road that has 48 hair pin bends!!! not for the faint hearted - but very enjoyable.
