Review 1：The hotel is in an excellent location to explore orchard road and with an MRT station less than 3 mins walk away, it's easy to explore further afield . Hotel was beautiful, reception, pool and bedrooms. The staff at this hotel made our holiday truly once in a life trip with their knowledge and fantastic service. I would thoroughly recommend upgrading to meritus club, the food is 5*, relaxing environment with wonderful views of Singapore from the 39th floor. Lovely to mingle with other guests in the private dining area, and discuss experiences and places to visit

Review 2：Pillows and bed uncomfortable, woke up with aching backs. All extra facilities were at a cost. All the restaurants were expensive so we ate elsewhere. Not recommended.

Review 4：They could have managed the guest relationship better, the room had no view and the people at the reception seemed to be over occupied. While I heard them speaking to another guest on a possible upgrade option, when I asked them they said nothing available. later, when I saw the room and complained, they said a upgrade is available ;-(, I never understood how that was possible in the span of just 30 min. they gave me another room, but would have been much nice, if they would have asked what I did not like and how could they resolve. I found the people very transactional and something we normally don't expect in a hospitality business. you want your guest coming back to you and not lose them for small issues. probably, they lost me for something small.

Review 5：The location was great, quick access to a lot of things.

Review 6：Checking in took at least three quarters of an hour. The room they gave us has a leaking shower screen upon seeing that the maintain man ask me to put a towel on the outside of shower till they can get to it which would be after we leave. I told the front desk what the maintain man said they say ok. After trying out the shower for awhile the towel got worst I decide to complain again it was then that they only offered to change our room. From a twin share and a roller away bed to a twin share and I ask for the roll away bed again they want to charged me $S100 a day more. There was no checking of previous record no apologies when they found out I actually booked for 3 adults.

Review 19：We like the Cleanness and the room decorations. They have the best breakfast lunch and dinner at this hotel. This is the only hotel with the best breakfast and dinning services in town based on our experiences and many stay in other Singapore hotels.

Review 20：bed was to soft and uncomfortable for us. Sound proofing very poor in our room you could clearly hear the voices from the people in the room next door. Pool area very average and next to main foyer, not ideal to walk through after swimming so my wife decided not to swim there.

Taxi always available outside hotel without reservation. Buffet at Triple Three sounds expensive but the food and range available well worth the price.

Review 22：Hotel is split between 2 tower blocks, so you have to make sure which lifts you need. Orchard Tower express lifts also serve shopping levels, so frequent longish waits. Of the 4 express lifts, only 2 go to club level, so even longer waits for club access. Swimming pool is small and located on 5th floor at main lobby level. Gym is on top floor of Main Tower, so Orchard Tower guests need to troop through main lobby or shopping arcade to get there - not ideal after a sweaty workout!

Review 23：Meritus Club lounge facilities were worth the extra cost. Staff were unfailingly courteous and helpful. Panoramic view from 38th floor club lounge takes some beating.

The hotel staff takes care of little things; we requested for birthday candles (because the shop forgot) and they brought us some!

Review 30：Located on Orchard Road, there is a hop on / hop off bus stop right outside offering easy access to all the sightseeing. The rooms were a nice size and beds and pillows very comfortable. I asked for an extra lamp and more hangers and these were in the room within a few minutes. The choices for breakfast were extensive. Happy hour in the bar from 6 - 9pm but not on Fridays. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Small pool area but most people had a swim then left so didn't have too long to wait for a lounger.

Surprisingly the officer cannot fulfill our requested even I made payment in advance since 2 months ago it means I conform with the booking rooms. However, to our disappointment, we found the Club lounge located on the 39th floor, accessible only by a steep stair case. As my mum is 91 years old and walks with a cane we were unable to use the Club at all. Initially, the staff were unsympathetic. However, the Manager finally listened to us and agreed not to charge us the extra rate. The Mandarin should make it clear that the Club is inaccessible by lift.

Also, the confusion and lack of staff in managing the Club Lounge during the peak period, thus lacking in attending to the customer needs. Review 127：I booked this hotel for my parents to stay when they visited Singapore. They have stay in this old brand of hotel ten years ago and they missed it. But to my surprise, the service standard of this hotel drop to an incredible level. The front staff is totally not well train and attitude is very rude. During check in hotel, I asked for a smoking room with kind size bed. I never even ask for any upgrade and believe this is not too much to ask for. The staff just reject our request and ask for additional charge for King bed even I try to explain to him that all fee has been pay in advance through booking website. The attitude is rude and unfriendly. When requested to speak to his supervisor, he shown me worse attitude than I can't imagine. After hard time of explanation and arguments with the supervisor, finally they put us to a king size bed room. The hotel has two wing section with two different sets of lifts. The supervisor and the staff not even bother to mention to me the right lift to my room. I and my parents caught in the lift (wrong wing section), travelling up and down of the hotel floor with all my luggages in hand. I so upset and thought that the counter staff give me a wrong set of key. When I question him again at counter, he shout at me and tell me off you went to wrong side of building. I can't believe this is the service of a five star hotel. Although the duty manager apologise to me later on but frankly, it felt really bad to experience such service...

Review 137：Very expensive. We were told we were being upgraded however the 'upgrade' cost us $50, then the breakfast cost us $30 each extra. We were given access to the 'club' where we could have our breakfast. This luxury cost an extra $129 including taxes. The room was already at a premium of $277 and the 'view' was of a construction site.
