Reviews for Vila Galé Eco Resort Angra - All Inclusive

Review 1:Staff at kids club was lazy and didn't carry out the kids program as foreseen, kids' waterslide out of order (and no real apology when pointing this out to reception at arrival), had to pay for 'early' check-in (12pm) and 'late' check-out (2pm) - in Europe this would normally be at no extra charge whatsoever, public areas of resort seemed a bit run down (especially if you expect 5*), four stray dogs were permanently at the resort.

Review 2:Nice location with quasi-private beach (but no village nearby, if that's what you're looking for), food was really lovely and varied for a resort - food quality was also really good (as Europeans, we ate sushi, salads etc without a problem), reception was friendly and spoke both English and German, room was spacious (superior apartment) and nicely furbished, very nice cot provided for our two year old, nice balcony, drinks surprisingly good for a resort (great caipirinha, red wine, sparkling wine, juices).

Review 3:It lacked a few small details that would make a big difference such as no iron (not even on request), no tea or coffee facilities in the room and Wi-Fi is paid - it is not expensive but it is a bit annoying to have to call and request it when you are used to have it available everywhere these days. The kids pool water slide/feature is broken and looks like it has been covered up for a long time. We also found the entertainment at the pool a bit too loud but the majority of the other guests seemed to like it and it was for a limited time only. It would be nice to have some more entertainment in the evenings since going out is not an option. Information on check in is very limited and reception seems short staffed.

Review 4:We loved the location, the beach, the size and layout of the room. The food and drinks available were also good.

Review 5:Paying for wifi connection in an all inclusive resort and finding out the wifi doesn't work at all... very frustrating. Swimming pool entertainment soooo loud after 9, no one could sleep in (really tough on babies).

Review 6:The road that has access to the hotel is really dangerous, without signs or lights. Be careful. The food was very disappointed. Don't expect too much.

Review 7:Excellent location with a private beach and easy access to the city and nearby islands. Really nice facilities with a gorgeous natural scenery, but they should do some maintainance work.

Review 8:Very far away no much options of transportation to arrive there

Review 9:Perfect lovely reception and everything the way we are expecting

Review 10:Very poor service! Lack of workers...Meals with not many options. A beach resort that during lunch time there was nobody to change pool towels!

Review 11:Comida e ambiente do buffet.

Review 12:Didn't like the quality of drinks and some of the foods where not great selections

Review 13:loved the location and the infrastructure

Review 14:- Very unfriendly personal- at weekends people from Rio are coming so it is very croudy - even after complaining services was bad (no refill of mini bar, no tea at breakfast, not cachaca at the bar) - room was not done at 2 nights (out of 4 nights of our stay=50%) - tourist from away are serviced worse than people from Rio

Review 15:- All inclusive package was good

Review 16:Free drinks (people get drunk...), and the vodka is not even good. The food. Too much drink, too little choice in meats/fish in the restaurant. The small children pool was green...

Review 17:Free Drinks. The beach is beautiful, warm and flat. The staff was very friendly, Mr Marcus Vinicius is a gentleman. The gardens are nice. The privicy is great. The beach was almost just for us.
