Review 1：Desk clerk not helpful with luggage transfer info - essentially told me it was my problem - hotel had nothing to do with it. Which may be true, but not helpful .

Review 2：Location was good- near the camino path. Breakfast was EXCELLENT.

Review 3：Staff seemed disinterested so customer care was poor. Breakfast was poor - no-one replenishing.

Review 4：Location was good, close to the restaurants at the harbour. Parking was on site and was free. Public areas looked grand but hotel rooms were a bit basic - no pictures or finishing touches. We had a suite and the sofa in the sitting room was good.

Review 6：Very clean. Modern decor and facilities. The receptionist was fluent in English and happily answered all our questions. The location was easy to find. Plenty of cafes nearby. We arrived on a Friday and there's was a local farmers market across the street. They offered secure storage for our bicycles at no extra charge.

Review 7：Great location convenient to Metro and beaches (10/15 minutes walk) with local restaurants close by. We stayed 11 nights and made several trips to Porto (by Metro) and Povoa de Varzim (on foot) to add variety . Ideal for shorter stays Pleasant friendly staff. Good buffet breakfast to meet varying requirements.

Review 8：Bare rooms, not one decoration on the walls, save for tv; notappealing....I Just wanted to run. Would have walked away if Iwasn't stuck paying for 2 days. Shocking to find this when I paidover 80 Euros....worse value for money in 2 weeks of travel in Portugaland 8 hotels I stayed in. Didn't look or feel clean....the sofabedwas worn and stained, as well as the mottled orange carpeting. Clotheshangers were a mishmash of sticky plastic which I could not use; pillowswere lumpy....had chunks of foam rubber inside....feared aboutcleanliness of everything I touched there. Saw two rooms....both thesame. Bad ending to my stay in Portugal, sadly.

Review 9：Free parking; main floor had lots of open space for guest use, but itwas dark, low lighting. Breakfast was good...and the woman who lookedafter the breakfast room was wonderful!!!

Review 10：Sadly my stay was ruined by inconsiderate guest. Night one a female guest laughing and shouting into a mobile phone at 1am. Night two, loud TV next door at 1am followed by even louder TV in room above at 2:15am. I had to check out a day early because of lack of sleep. Shame really and not the hotels' fault. Be aware that the hotel is on a cobbled street and there is also road noise until late.

Review 15：Room was quite big, with good shower, wifi in room. Public rooms are lovely places to suspend time, and breakfast included hot items such as scrambled eggs and grilled tomatoes.

Review 16：Perfect location in center of Villa do Conde old town. Cosy rooms that back onto a little cobbled street with small balconies attached. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of variety. Bar and billiard room is great to spend time in as there are board games, books and a great fire place along with big comfy leather chairs. Plenty of atmosphere in this old stone building and staff pleasant and helpful. Villa do Conde is definitely a town worth spending time in as there is much to see and do. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk to sandy beaches.

Review 17：Like all big towns it was noisy at times. Construction woke was going on in the building across the very narrow road from us until 5 at night but not on weekends thank goodness.

Review 18：The hotel has it's own car park in a town where parking is not easy to find. Very attractive old building with lots of area downstairs to relax in. Great location everywhere easy to walk to with lots of restaurants.would stay there again if in the area.

Review 108：We have stayed a night in the “Estalagem Do Brazao” hotel in May 2013. This is very good hotel with friendly staff speaking English fluently. Hotel is very clean and comfortable for the travelers. It is situated in the historical center of the city. So, if you decide to visit medieval Convent and Church of Santa Clara or Roman aqueduct it will take only ten minutes to reach them by walk. Fabulous Matriz Church, Main Square with the City Hall and other old churches are situated in couple minutes distances from the hotel. It took us only ten minutes to reach the replica of the XV c. Portuguese Caravel by walk and twenty minutes to get the coast of Atlantis Ocean with the fort of San Joao Baptista, Light house and coastal restaurants. Room was big and clean, equipped with all necessary things. Bathroom equipped with the bathtub. You can play billiard in the ground floor hall. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of food and it variations.
