Reviews for Mountain Sports Inn

Review 1:Location was awesome, staff excellent and very informative on area. If you needed something they were on it.Continental breakfast and coffee excellent...

Review 2:No air conditioning in room so it was a little hot and muggy in August. There was a fan in the room that helped. Also the pool wasn't available yet. But this is understandable since this is mostly a winter place to stay.

Review 3:Spacious, clean room. Great location to anything in Killington. Reasonable rates.

Review 4:The bathroom shower curtain was full of mold. Also the way the heat ismanaged in the building is strange. Not all rooms have the I ownthermostat and it was usually too hot. The walls are paper thin and canhear everything, including giggling from a room across the hall with thedoor closed. The halls also say no smoking inside but it is notenforced. A group down the hall was smoking weed and the smell wasprevalent in the hallway.

Review 5:Ease of check in and out was nice. There were no parking issues, thoughit was very late season. Atmosphere of breakfast area was inviting.

Review 6:The continental breakfast selections made us all happy with the variety of fruits, bars, breads, cereals, eggs, etc. Plus the three staff members were very chatty and personable!

Review 7:Ski lodge that caters for hikers, bikers and tourists when there's no snow. Room was large and comfortable if a little basic. Good comfortable bed. Bathroom could have done with an upgrade but was clean and adequate. Okay the TV wasn't flat screen - so what. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The owner and his staff were brilliant. Very knowledgeable about hiking routes etc. Provided maps and suggestions of where to go. And the hot tub was great to relax in and let your aching muscles recover. Loved Killington and thought this was a great place to stay.r

Review 8:Booked with breakfast, but the only thing you could get in the morning was coffee or tea. No new toiletpaper was provided. No air conditioning, it was real hot and stuffy in the room, in spite of 2 open windows. I know it's more of a winter location, but still...

Review 9:Quiet. Good shower.

Review 10:Had room above hot tub. Chloride smell

Review 11:Friendly staff

Review 12:I liked the friendly staff and freshly made breakfast. Location was good also.

Review 13:Somewhat old facilities, and a little pricey.

Review 14:The staff was super nice, and we had the most wonderful breakfast you can find around town.

Review 15:cheap and very cheerful, great access!

Review 16:Thin walls between rooms. Can hear normal conversations through the walls.

Review 17:Very friendly staff.

Review 18:Great atmosphere, great people! Very accommodating and 5 minutes from the lifts.

Review 19:Staff was very very friendly and courteous. They opened the hot tub almost 45 mins early for us 3 one night.

Review 20:Grounds and facilities for my daughter's wedding.

Review 21:The noise level throughout the building.

Review 22:-Rooms were clean - arrangements made for late night check-in -breakfast -owner was very helpful in suggesting what to do in vermont

Review 23:Hall, stairs and rooms needed updating. Dingy and old. Office area also.

Review 24:Den and breakfast area

Review 25:none

Review 26:enjoyed my stay, although brief

Review 27:Very outdated. Needs a lot of sprucing up.

Review 28:Great location reasonably priced

Review 29:A little to rustic (old)

Review 30:Location

Review 31:Room was cold at night when sleeping

Review 32:the stay were very friendly, hot breakfast very good, great location with a warm atmosphere

Review 33:No game room.. a pool table at least would be nice

Review 34:The hot tub and the hot food orders for breakfast. Most places only do the continental breakfast..

Review 35:Second year staying here. Staff made us feel like family.

Review 36:glad for the hot tub, but rather old fashioned to be in basement and hard to get into

Review 37:had an informal feel...staff was very pleasant

Review 38:The TV was small ,hot tub not running or the sauna

Review 39:Very clean room and it was a big room ,had a nice little table in room

Review 40:- beautiful building, comfortable rooms, good WiFi signal in rooms

Review 41:wish the sauna/hot tub was open

Review 42:friendly staff deck out of window comfy bed

Review 43:Our room was freezing cold, they gave us a space heater that we had to place on the bedside table to stay warm. The bathroom was also freezing cold. I slept in my ski jacket half the night it was so cold.

Review 44:Had a triple room - two twins and a full. The full was a little soft for my taste. And the only thing more minimalist than the shower was the shower curtain - low water pressure and barely the material to cover the opening. But that was the flipside of a character that is actually cool if you think about it: The whole place had almost a Bauhaus feel to it - barely enough to get the job done in small areas - but it gets the job done nicely in the big areas.

Review 45:We were only there to catch a couple of hours of the Sochi Olympics and then sleep between ski days at Okemo and Killington, but we were pleased. The staff, the overall feel, the quiet (well, we were on the fourth floor, so nobody was walking around above us). Breakfast was cooked to order plus continental-style pastries available, good coffee, great mountain guidance from the staff (hey, these guys can tell you how to work the mountain as the day progresses to keep yourself in the sun-warmed soft stuff!). The overall impression you're left with is of a place well managed, well cared for and staffed by people who care about what they provide you. Not luxurious, but comfortable - and hey, did you drive to Killington to ski or get your nails done?

Review 46:Room rate is quite expensive when compared with others in my Vermont trip. The facility is quite simple, nothing interesting.

Review 47:Easy to find on the main road in Killington.

Review 48:The walls were quite thin in the rooms. I woke up to snoring and reached over to nudge my husband, only to discover that I was hearing the snorer in the next room!

Review 49:Staff was very helpful-provided great advice about a hike. Location was perfect; close to everything we wanted to do. The price was reasonable for the ski resort location.

Review 50:The staff was great. It was hot in our room since they didn't have air conditioning. It was what we needed for a night. for skiers it would be great.

Review 51:Staff was excellent. Bob, the owner is truly concerned about your goodtime. We enjoyed all our interactions with staff of the inn. Hotbreakfast in the morning was awesome!

Review 52:Si hubiera pagado unos 120 dolares podria considerarlo adecuado. Como estuve finales de diciembre la tarifa fue de unos 300 dolares. Por supuesto , el cuarto, el desayuno y el hotel en general no justifican nunca un valor tan alto

Review 53:Relativamente cerca de las pistas de esqui y restaurantes.

Review 54:Could not open the window in our room due to their heating system. Leftroom a little ripe.

Review 55:Super friendly staff. Excellent value for money. If you need a friendly, simple launchpad (after a hearty breakfast) and to crashpad after a dayon the slopes then this is the place. Don't bring any big citypretentions and you'll have a great time.

Review 56:Room (mine is with triple beds) is very spacious and quite. Breakfast is great. Hot tub and sauna is a plus.

Review 57:Nothing

Review 58:Free breakfast was great. Room and lodge very clean

Review 59:Squishy mattresses. Dated décor. Tiny TV in room. Flimsy door to room.

Review 60:Close to the mountain. Complimentary breakfast.

Review 61:The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was great.

Review 62:Staff was great. Breakfast was a great value.

Review 63:The room, the breakfast

Review 64:It was basically a motel

Review 65:the place needs better upkeep

Review 66:extremely nice and helpful staff

Review 67:All good

Review 68:Nice quiet room. Good value for money. A short drive to restaurants and shops.

Review 69:Loved the staff and the owner is involved. My kids loved it also whichcounts. Close to Killington, deli market and restaurants:)

Review 70:Rooms were drab and tired-looking. TV was very old.

Review 71:Very friendly staff. Common room had a big-screen TV. Rooms were quiet
