Review 1：spacious room, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water. we stayed over the Christmas holiday (all restaurants, bars, and stores closed) and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, arrange for meals and a taxi transfer so we could go on a 15 mile one way hike on the coast.

Review 2：This was meant to be a spa, it took days to get a massage of which when we did, the room was not made up to standard (no candles, nice smells and cold). To use the sauna we had to pay?? did not like this and we ended up leaving it out. The pool was cold even though it was meant to be heated, such a small pool should have been much warmer to relax in, instead i was cold and soon left. There was only someone at reception 20% of the time so people were always waiting for someone, every hotel should have a full time receptionist. So many bad reviews on the hotels restaurant so we did not even bother trying with so many great restaurants locally already.

Review 4：The staff went above and beyond with making us feel comfortable. The wifi was a bit spotty in our room and we mentioned it was important to have wifi for work. They sent a technician out same day to fix the problem. Also, the hotel is perfectly located. 10-15 min from all the best beaches. We go to Portugal every year and I would definitely stay here again.

Review 5：We were hiking the long distance trail the Rota Vicentina and this hotel is right on the route. Great facilities, very modern. Good staff. Good breakfast. Very reasonable for the quality of hotel experience. Restaurants right across the street.

Review 6：Excellent service. Very friendly owner! Perfect housekeeping. Due to the quiet period I stayed at the hotel, the breakfast buffet was superb. Very satisfying and peacefull environment.

Review 7：Extremily hot inside de room, lots of mosquitos made it impossible to sleep. There was a TV but no remote control. The floor in the corridor acess to the room is on very bad conditions with "bumps" all over. At breakfast time, not one table available, wait for a dish, for a glass, for the juice...

Review 27：The little town of Vila do Bispo was quite lovely! The family run hotel had a good atmosphere and the staff was most helpful. We enjoyed some wonderful seafood dishes in the area and enjoyed exploring.

Review 28：It's so plain and undecorated that it feels positively unfriendly. I would not have stayed more than one night. The swimming pool was cold and the people standing just outside the door smoking caused the automatic door t keep on opening.
