Farol Hotel sells fast on our site. Located right next to Cascais Marina, this 5-star boutique hotel features a deck terrace over the Atlantic Ocean. The On the Rocks lounge bar overlooks the saltwater pool.
Most rooms at the Farol Design Hotel come with a hydro-massage bathtub. The rooms all feature bathrobes with slippers and also have free Wi-Fi and minibars.

Review 2：Have a nice breakfast watching the ocean it's just great! Very nice hotel and in summer it should be even better to enjoin the pool and the terrace. Close to the center of Cascais.

Review 3：In our room (305) The TV position in the room was way too high, that's not very comfortable; The room service options are pretty poor; For a 5 star, there should be more fruit options at the breakfast and the room should have a coffee machine or an electric jar, at least.

Review 4：The staff was one of the friendliest I've ever met; The building condition is very good (despite being so close to the sea and its salty conditions); The breakfast room with sea view is awsome; Although being quite small, the room with sea view is great. Sleeping with the sound of the waves is a great experience. Wifi with very good signal, free parking space. The location is great. Close to the city center and Boca do Inferno.

Review 5：The bar was crowded in the evening with people not staying at the hotel. We were surprised by people smoking in the lounge area. It's a long time since this was banned at home!

Review 11：The staff and the service is excellent. They are so friendly. While we were there there was a storm, and the staff were under a lot of pressure- but they couldn't have been nicer. Our room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and hope to be back in 2016.

Review 20：room for 2 stars hotel, small window on a parking lot, wardrobe with light not closing, had to unscrew the bulb to have the room dark at night. asked to upgrade to another room and didn't get a reply in 3 days. at arrival had to unload the car myself and saw someone from the staff only to ask to move the car from arrival spots. staff always kind but not really professional (i.e. at the sushi restaurant and the lounge bar)

Review 22：A couple of the guests were a bit spoiled and complained at the smallest things. Some guests waiting for check-in came and slept on the sun beds with clothes on and snoored (quite funny actually).

Review 34：We rented 4 bikes. That cost 40 euros for 2 houres. And it was the lousiest bikes in the world! Breaks and locks didnt work. Pedal came undone. Flat tires. Didnt even get a discount when we turn them in. The transfer from airport to the hotel cost 90 euros for 4 persons. I was told 60 euros. A taxi would have cost us 40 euros.

Review 35：The hotel is located next to the sea. And the food is good.

Review 36：Rooms are nice but not "wow" as one might expect for the price. Some common amenities for this class of hotel were missing such as an iron/ironing board and coffee/tea making facilities. It took over an hour and some reminder calls for housekeeping to provide us with an iron.The in-room safe is too small (barely fits a tablet). During our stay there was a private function in a meeting room that lay just behind our room. Needless to say we didn't sleep particularly well that night so perhaps best to avoid a room close to the meeting room or enquire if there's any private parties during your stay.

Review 37：Great location, slightly isolated and quiet but just a ten minute walk into the town when you're done relaxing and taking in the views. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection was extensive and fresh.

Review 41：I did not like the way my reservations were handled, This hotel declined to make adjustments to my reservations until I contacted Booking. They said they could not fix the reservation it would cost me the full cost of the stay to cancel or to make any changes. I did not want to cancel I just needed to change the date It felt like they were money grubbing and trying to grasp every dollar. I booked three months in advance so there should not have been a problem. But after contacting Booking.com they agreed to the change but still charged me a fee for doing that. This hotel is too far away from everthing. In order to get to Lisbon you had to find the train station on foot (25 minute walk). They should have had a mini bus to offer people a ride to the train station, there was none. There was absolutely nothing to do at this place nor in the surrounding areas except watch your fellow man bake in the sun. At the prices this hotel is charging, transportation to and from the airport should have been included also, It was not Each way cost 60 euros. There was no entertainment or even low key background music, except in the dining area. The room that I ended up with was no better than any other hotel room I stayed at for 1/2 the price. And I do mean half the price, this cost me 888 euros for three nights. For that price I expected a room with a view at least. And it was in the basement. Everything had a charge including a glass of water. Unless you like to spend money for nothing I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Review 42：The staff were marvelous, if not for them I would have left ealier even though I paid so much money for the accommodations.

Review 43：Really old dated rooms (especially in the "historical part") require full renovation especially of the poor ventilation, non working sink and lack of sound proof doors. Area is very noisy with endless parties during the night. Limited brackfast offering basic eggs and Nespresso machine coffee is not up to 5 star level. The rest is fantastic.

Review 45：I didn't like the suite design not who I was hoping and expecting , the air condition was so hot , they should looked to this issue before they take me to the suite, the Jacuzzi was dirty , the coffee machine was chargeable which is ridicules I never see such athing in any other 5 star hotel in the world, also the hotel design need update and the atmosphere was not that great.

To start we had arranged their transfer service to pick us up and they were really punctual. Check in service, quick and easy. Room was amazingly big, clean and comfortable. We had some special requests for the room for the arrival time and everything was taken care of. Great sea view from the balcony, with a nice table and chairs to relax - you are even able to request breakfast to be served there rather than go to the restaurant. Talking about breakfast, nothing to say rather than I wish I could eat more! Great choice and fresh products variety, loads of bread and pastries, cooked breakfast was delicious and pancakes and waffles made to order! An amazing and charismatic place indeed.
