Review 1：Room service was excellent, stuff was very kind and helpfull. Location is beautiful, view is beautiful. Food in the hotel was great. We even got a cake and champagne for celebrating birthday, we felt like at home.

Review 21：Pretty much everything, this hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, beautifully appointed and immaculately clean. Delicious buffet breakfast with lots of choices. It was my birthday when we were there and they upgraded our room without even mentioning it at check in. They also surprised me with a beautiful cake and bottle of chilled sparkling wine. We can't imagine there is anyplace better to stay in Cascais and are already planning a return trip next year.

Review 23：The very spacious, comfortable room, the beautiful large bathroom, the large balcony with a view of the beach to die for. These would already have been sufficient, but there was the lovely restaurant on the third floor, with a big beautiful swimming pool, a glittering buffet breakfast with exotic fruits, sumptuous food and pastries, various fresh fruit juices, yoghurts and wonderful fresh brewed coffee. The great housekeeping service, cleaning up the rooms and changing the towels twice a day. This was indeed a five-star experience!

Review 26：I had to dock a few marks for the swimming pool. It looks beautiful andclean, but it's freezing! This was backed up by the fact that thesun beds were packed, but very few in the water, and those that venturedin didn't stay long. As this was at the end of the summer Ican't imagine it would get any warmer. Would be worth bringing thetemperature up a few degrees.

Review 31：Attention To Detail, these guys cover everything. You would expect it as the price displays some level of expectancy but I cannot fault them. This hotel is definitely one of the best that I have ever stayed in and the sea view was exceptional also.

Review 32：It started as we expected: When our taxi arrived, the bell boy came, opened us the doors and carried our luggage to the reception. But then, after having checked-in, we had to carry our luggage on our own to the room. Then, we received two vouchers for a welcome drink. Full of anticipation, we went to the bar and ordered a cocktail, but then, the barman explained, that this voucher is only valid for softdrinks, vine and beer. So no cocktail. We really were disappointed. Or did we expect too much? Then, on the first evening, the armature of the toilet splush went brocken (it popped out); so at half past one a.m., we had to call someone to repair it. The mechanic fixed it provisorily and told us, that on the next day, they would definitively solve the problem. On the next day, obviosly nothing happened, because the toilet splush popped out again and two days later again (always at night of course). – After the third (!) time, the toilet splush was definitively repaired and we received a bottle of sparkling wine . Moreover, to replace a bulb of the bedside lamp, it took them 5 days. – Besides that, the electric lights were combined very queerish, so that we always had to light the whole room to get light in the bathroom, if someone had to go to the toilet at night…. And finally, at the day of our departure, we asked if we could use the room one hour more than usual. And after all these inconveniences, we expected, that they would us allow this. But no way: for this one hour more, we would have been charged with € 100 (which we refused of course). Sorry to say that, but after all these inconveniences, this hotel isn’t worth neir the high price nor the five stars !

Review 34：Everything. No Cost was spared in designing and decorating the hotel. The rooms are fabulous. The bathrooms are huge. The public areas are also light and open. There is no room for improvement. I think it is the best hotel in the Lisbon area.

Review 70：Unfortunately the electricity kept cutting out during our stay, this wasn't too much of an disruption for us as the first night it was very late and we were on the way to bed, second day it was while we were relaxing by the pool. It was later that evening when the electricity went again whilst in the shower it was less than ideal(slippy tiles in the dark) and lack of ability to use hair dryer, tv, WiFi during this outage. The hotel were very apologetic and were working hard to get the issue rectified. The outages were on and off and lasted at most 1 hour over a period of 24 hours. Due to this issue the hotel removed a nights stay from our bill without being asked due to the inconvenience, this I felt was a testament to the standard of the hotel and genuine remorse at the issues it had caused for its guests.

Review 71：Hotel was very comfortable and had excellent facilities. Close to centre of cascais (10 mins walk) and directly opposite the beach. Staff were genuinely happy to help you and attentive. Room service was very good. The bedrooms were cleaned twice a day. Good WiFi throughout all the hotel.

Pillows aren't the most comfortable though this is down to personal choice- a choice of alternative pillows would be a nice touch!
