Review 1：Very average breakfast. With many great restaurants within walking distance we didn’t even try dinner at Ziggy’s. In our opinion the hotel was slightly lacking in atmosphere. More of a package deal feel with daily evening entertainment at Ziggy's. Just not what we were looking for.

Review 2：For us it wasn’t the best hotel in Tulum but we enjoyed our stay. Very clean rooms, comfortable bed, great water pressure. Direct beach access and view from room was absolutely wonderful. Free bike rental. Coffee machine in the room.

Review 3：The location is beautiful and quiet. The room was wonderful and comfortable with a remarkable view and wonderful amenities- bottled water, towels, bikes, yoga mat, even first aid for mosquito bites. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the food and drink were delicious. It's pretty great to get fresh coconuts delivered to you while lounging on the beach. Kudos to the staff who were always keeping the area clean and impeccable. We were so taken with the place that we did not want to leave the hotel to see the cultural sites of the area.

Review 4：We didn't have a bad experience. However, if you don't like music until 10 p.m. and dishes clanking early in morning, don't stay in room 07. Didn't ruin it for me, Just advising.

Review 5：The location was great. All units were on the beach, close and facing them. The service was friendly, efficient, very personalized. The hotel arranged the very best tour experiences for snorkeling and visit to Muyil and floating down a canal between lagoons.

Review 7：The beach set up was fantastic - and appeared to be the best of all the hotels along that strip. The staff were all great. The room was wonderful. A five star experience all the way around.

Review 8：There was construction work going on in the next room so we were woken up at 8:20 each morning by hammering sounds which lasted all day. We complained from the first day but only at checkout we were offered an excuse and a compensation by the front office manager. Staff is cute but not trained enough to understand guests expectations. There was a seaweed wall in front of the property that was slowly been taken care off by burying it in the sand (is that a good idea?). Breakfast has room for improvement.

Review 11：The Beach is a wonderfully relaxed hotel. We loved the fact that it was small and therefore personal. Staff were warm and attentive. It was great even being able to dine bare footed.

Review 15：The beach hotel was magic! It was simply amazing and we couldn't have asked for more. The service was perfect, and every person that worked there was amazing. It is so intimate and the staff really took the time to get to know us and help us with anything we needed. The room was perfect with our own outdoor hammock and bed. It was the perfect place to relax! I walked up and down the beach checking out other hotels that I had heard of but the beach had by far the best beach area and beds to relax on! The pool area is lovely as well! The food was awesome too... I have been dreaming about the tuna tartare and those shrimp tacos! I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Can't wait to go back!

Review 18：The staff were wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. The location is great, the area reserved for guests is kept spotless to the extent that every morning they cleared away all the seaweed on the hotels strip of beach so as not to interrupt the view of the pure white sand. Ziggys beach club and restaurant is a bit of a gem, they serve delicious food all day - the tuna tacos are great! It's good value for money in a generally pricey area.

Review 20：The beach setting was breathtaking and the staff was wonderful. Ziggy's restaurant had an excellent menu and everything we ordered was delicious! There were many great restaurants and boutiques within walking distance.

Review 21：The location smack dab in the middle of all the Tulum Beach activities, the staff, the bar and upscale cocktails, the view, the cleanliness, the bath products, the luxuriousness of it but casualness too.

Review 22：Very trivial, but there were some rust marks on the bathroom curtains. Be prepared for mosquitos at night (easily fixed by purchasing repellent and plug-in zappers from the local supermarket).

We had a beautiful ground floor room (no.6) that was well-sized and opened up directly onto the beach, it was pure paradise being steps away from the Caribbean. The food at Ziggy Beach was great, which is a bonus if you don't feel like venturing far.

Review 24：Air conditioning is only available between 7pm and 7am which means the rooms are incredibly hot outside these times. Breakfast menu quite restrictive.

Review 26：You can have everything:Staff: they are all amazing from the reception with Dan Mariana and Silvina always available with a great smile at any time to the Food&Beverage warmest people under Leonardo who are all there to start your day with a great breakfast selection along with their true welcoming attitude.Overall atmosphere is simply the best natural therapy for your stress and blue as nature is surrounding continuously with the sounds of the wind and the waves, the pelicans and other birds fishing in front of you and turtles making their nets. All the rooms have a breathtaking view. The ocean is amazing and actually the one in front of the Beach hotel has something special that get your skin smoother (it's not clay but something better and unique) but this is a secret that you will discover once there. The 7km beach is the best for an early morning meditation or simply contemplation of the dawn and of course for your barefoot running training. It's also a paradise for kite surfers. Your shadow it is provided by palms and the big sunbeds are the most comfortable you can desire. They have also a security person from 7 am to 7 pm so you can walk away leaving your belongings without be afraid and this is priceless. Everyone stop in front of The Beach and takes pictures of it and you do not wonder why various red carpet celebrities love to stay at this place where also privacy is so well respected. The food is spectacular and you understand why so many people come for their meals almost everyday. If you need anything special they are always ready to create something special. Like Barbara at the bar always ready to suggest you the best drink for your need from detox to the various daiquiri. Ask Ulisse for his margarita. Rooms are "less is more" and very consistent with the rest of the environment.

Review 30：We chose The Beach for our honeymoon. It exceeded our expectations. I did not believe paradise existed until we came here. This place is really paradise on earth. The location is perfect, the way the hotel is build, the materials they use, everything is calculated so that is in conformity with nature but at the same time comfortable and luxurious. The staff is AMAZING. Friendly, polite, they cater to all our needs! Best hotel staff we ever met. Everything was made so easy to us. We did not have to worry about anything. They arranged for our tours, for our taxis, they recommended restaurants. They helped my husband to organize a surprise for my birthday. Silvana and Mariana are the best. The food at Ziggys is also very good! We highly recommend this place. If we go back to Tulum we are definetely staying there again.

Review 59：My partner and I have just come back from two weeks at The Beach Tulum, and had an amazing time. We were warmly greeted after a long flight from Aubrey, who was always helpful. One of the impressive things is that the staff throughout the hotel remembered our names whenever we met them. A nice touch. Leonardo, one of the managers always made sure that we were looked after, and Barbara and Freddy in the bars were great. I couldn't actually fault anyone. The room, although a little rustic to what we're used to, was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked as did the ceiling fan, but there was always a wonderful breeze from the sea. The beds are large, and very comfortable, with toppers, which is something we like, and generally found in boutique hotels these days. Free Wifi available, not a strong reception, but adequate. The location is absolutely fabulous, and although we had a hire car we wanted to spend most of the time at the hotel. A wonderful beach and an idyllic pool area. The food at Ziggy's was superb, and we ate most of our meals there, although tried a couple of other places. We loved our stay, and were given a hug when we left, which felt really genuine. The girls on reception make you feel at home straight away and can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. The photos of the beach don't do it justice...it truly is a beautiful place to stay in Tulum. I highly recommend it.

Review 69：Location:superb!!located on the most beautiful stretch of beach with palm trees and very quiet. All rooms face the beach and the pool is lovely though we never used it as we spent time on the beach. The staff were wonderful--courteous, helpful, and caring.We especially commend: Jeronimo who learned our names, was always smiling and offering to help us; and Rosealba who served us breakfast and made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious--we ate many meals outdoors enjoying the fabulous views of the beach.
