Huge overnight light pollutionthat curtains don't help much to and in the morning you will belikely woken up by staff starting their shift (early) chatting audiblyright under your windows. Buffet breakfast ok although seemed poorlysupervised as at times shortage of milk or juice happen. We weren'timpressed by whole of Porto Moniz - piece of land turned into sadtourist village with crowded hotels and restaurants, around naturalpools that spoilt by concrete and white paint, fenced off by toll gatesdon't have any charm anymore. Funny: approaching the town we stoppedto look at it from above. I said that it looks like one of theroundabout parks for learners drivers - and when we actually got there,all the roads were one way!
Review 12：Out of four our accomodations on Madeira that was the only place tohave eggs for breakfast... But they were cold :) Oh, we liked familyatmosphere in belonging to the hotel bar opposite. And the fact theylet us watch football match, tv left on especially for us! Sadly ourteam lost :p)

Review 14：We were looking for a hotel near natural pools. Stay at this hotel was very pleasant! It looked like a nice simple apartment building and was exactly what it looks like in the pictures, clean and modern decor. Our room was clean and comfortable with a balcony and all amenities in working order! I found just about everything I needed! The breakfast is a little simple (bread with butter, jam, cheese or ham and coffee) but was nice! There is parking available at the hotel. We stayed in 5 hotels while in Madeira and this one is one of the best! I would certainly recommend this hotel to any future traveler :)
Review 15：The shower head had to be rigged to stay in place or else the water shot straight up to the ceiling.
Review 16：The best thing about this hotel was the location. Located just a few steps away from the local natural pools and restaurants. Don't let the unfavorable reviews detour you. I read the reviews and noticed a number of visitors from France gave low ratings. I booked anyway to formulate my own opinion. While there I noticed more French guests than any other nationality. Could it be they want to keep this hotel their best kept secret??? Don't expect a 5 star hotel but do expect to get your money's worth and then some.
