Review 2:Location is just perfect... Staff were very friendly and always there to serve and help. The breakfast was superb

Review 3:No heating mode on AC especially for the winter nights (as short as winter is in Makkah), especially for the little ones.

Review 4:Massive suites with quality finishes.

Review 5:Nothing of significance really.

Review 6:Very helpful staff. Thorough house keeping service, night time check for toiletries, water, and towels. Direct access to prayer hall. Spacious suites. Butler service. Free hot drinks. Review 15:Too much time taken at check In ....when we reach around 2.30 pm they say room in cleaning so please wait and they take 1:30 minutes for this which look unfair delay .... I think one room cleaning not take that much time..... they should give more friendly attention to all Guest who comes for holy visit....

Review 16:LOCATION and VIEW

Review 17:I was given a suite smaller than what I booked. It was changed after I refused to accept. The management is poor. Service was not as it is expected from 5 star hotel. I had to call more than once, to get a service done.

Review 18:The location is great.

Review 19:Housekeeping was very slow, probably because of few staff. Our room was cleaned in the evening every day.

Review 20:1- The location was excellent. 2- The food in the restaurant was variable and nice.

Review 21:We booked a suite for 2 adults and 2 children but there no any arrangement for the kids. No refill for the shampoo and body shower and no towels after they clean Very poor housekeeping service

Review 22:Big suite and complimentary drinks

Review 23:The furniture is getting old and need replacement also it had bad smell they should not allow smoking in the rooms. Transportation form hotel to airport is very expensive provided by hotel.

Review 24:Location is excellent Free internet

Review 25:We got problem when want to go the airport the security didn't allow the rent car to enter and pic us there was new role from the hotel to take a pass for the car but they didn’t inform us ... the should consider that the visitors need to go to the airport on time.... We got late because of this issue

Review 26:i like the location

Review 27:the lack of security when it comes to leading the visitors and protecting them from thief's

Review 28:the hotel was amazing! but i didn't like the lack of security, specially in the tower

Review 29:Value of money the suites are very expensive and check out time is too early and some of the front desk staff needs more training .

Review 30:The location and breakfast ?????

Review 31:It's quite expensive if compared with other hotels in the same area.

Review 32:The location of the hotel. Rooms are fantastic. Bathroom is excellent. Breakfast also is very good.

Review 33:- Hard to reach the reservation staff when calling from outside the hotel, I managed to get someone after calling like 8 times within 2 days, the operator will transfer you but no one is answering. - My reservation got cancelled because there was a problem in the credit card transaction and no one called me from hotel, on the way to airport I called the hotel and they told me it got cancelled and I had to book again with a higher rate and lower room type.

Review 34:- Location close to Haram - Fast room service - A lot of options in room service menu

Review 35:I book the room for three person , and once I reached their I noticed the room is only for two person and they provide extra bed for the third person and the size of room was very small and we couldn't move well

Review 36:1) The suits were dirty there were socks after the previous customer under the coffee table and lots of hair in the bathroom 2) we came at 4 pm but we check in at 7 pm the suits weren't ready 3) the breakfast lounge was so dirty 4) female spa so poor 5) furniture too old and smell bad 6) the bathroom set too cheap the worst type of soap.I expected that one of the most important perfume companies sponsoring this hotel because of the expensive price 7) the most expensive hotel in Mekkah 8) they don't have regular bags 9) I paid 22000 SR for 2 nights and business center not free

Review 37:Nothing but the view from the royal suit only other suits doesn't worth it

Review 38:- i booked kabba view but it was corner view to kabba where i have to go really close to the corner to c the holly kabba. - alevator stsyem really slow and headache

Review 39:Almost everything

Review 40:The standard of the hotel went down.. It needs to improve the service and change furniture it looks old. The value of money doesn't match the standard of hotel . It is expensive

Review 41:Location

Review 42:we arrived the hotel at 3:30 pm, we were very tired with my elder mother but unfortunately couldn't check in until 4:20 pm.

Review 43:The staff were so polite, helpful and their quick response to any request. The location is close to the Haram. The outside view of the Creamery coffee shop and its staff, we had an excellent time there.

Review 44:The air condition is not cold enough. There are no enoug towels in the path room.

Review 45:All Hotel staff are great Receptionist are very helpful and polit Location is great Breakfast is good

Review 46:Thinks I didn't like in Raffels Makkah: - The suite wasn't very clean and not maitain very well - The service in the hotel restaurant during breakfast was very poor - The operators weren't professional as they transfer my phone calls to the wrong persons and it get hanged up 4 times! Without considering that I was calling from overseas! - Zamzam water sold for SAR 40/- per bottle, were you can get from the factory for SAR 5/- and from Airport for SAR 9/-, so Al HamdeAllah that I haven't bought from them!

Review 47:The following are the positive points for Raffles Hotel in Makkah: - Location of the hotel - Suite view towards Kabba - Serving Arabic Coffee and dates from Duhur Prayer till Aisha Prayer - Butler Service

Review 48:I have made reservation for 2 Signature suite with Kaapa view, but one of the suites was truly not worth it with lower setup than the other one. Also I have made this particular selection of the suite based on previous experience in the same hotel but neither of the Suites came close to the one I have been given last time.

Review 49:Proximity to Haram

Review 50:The bed was bad The doors of bathrooms didnt close well The handle of the bedroom door was broken We asked to be moved to a higher floor since this floor was under renovation but we were told the hotel is full eventhough it looked like there was plenty of rooms available

Review 51:It was a quiet place

Review 52:Its not fair to check in at 5 or 6 pm And the check out at 12 pm We have to wait min 4 hours to get the room Please solve this problem Also the hotel must be fair with people through the room category.. In the website they wrote kaaba view but when we get the room it was side kaaba not full view.

Review 53:I like the location of the hotel And the staff

Review 54:They add charge to my bill 260 a complained they said sorry ya you didn't order then they add another charge of 107 and said I did ordered another thing after complained again the know that I haven't ordered anything. The Reception guy was very rude when j complain

Review 55:Near to alhram Cleane

Review 56:No price list of the minibar, the food menu is totally broke and I asked them to change it but they didn't change it. There is no microwave in the room even in the hotel.

Review 57:The location is perfect, clean room, nice furniture, and great view on Kabbah.

Review 58:I wanted to go to the airport therefore requested the hotel management for a cab, initially was offered the hotel cab with the lowest rate of SR 700,I felt it was very high and requested for a subtitued. To my surprise I was sent to the Hotel's Taxi Park where I was encountered by thugs since every one of them was demanding extra ordinary amounts

Review 59:In general i am very happy and i enjoyed the stay

Review 60:Taxi access is for specific number plate taxis or need to go to tunnel (1 minute walk) to collect taxi. Hotel's own cars are very expensive. Would be good if staff could wave down taxi on your behalf. No salt in omelettes at breakfast!

Review 61:Staff were the most polite and proactive that I've come across in a hotel. Room and view were good

Review 62:There is no taxi near to hotel, you have to walk for about 2 minutes to pick up from highway. Yet, they have limousine service but it too expensive !!

Review 63:Location is very close to Makkah

Review 64:Toilet Seats are too small

Review 65:The Staff was Extremely Good. Specially Ahmed Abdullah Bawajeeh (Supervisor of Raffles front office.) The Haram View from Room! The Suites are too clean and Luxury! The Wi-Fi is good. Exquisite Interiors. The Lifts are too big and comfortable! The Food Court is amazing. it has tons of Restaurants. (including KFC, Burger King.and Baskin Robbins for Ice Cream and Desserts) Room Cleaning Service is awesome and fast. Breakfast. (10-15 Varieties of Food.including Fruits and desserts)

Review 66:We are coming every year to this hotel to perform Omrah over the last 6 years, we noticed that every year there service is done compared to the year before. It's for sure the result of a new manamgent style that prefers to save money more than making the client happy.

Review 67:My comments on the dinner, the food provided was collected from morning breakfast remaining food, we could't complete our food it was too bad, and eventhougt we have paid the total amount. Food improvement shall be applied.

Review 68:Overall Hotel facilities were good, internet speed was slow needs improvement.

Review 69:I requested to clean my room in my second day of stay through the butler service phone, however, it was not cleaned when I came back to my room. WiFi was horribly slow almost useless.

Review 70:Breakfast was amazing, location is excellent , and I have requested a late checkout which they gladly accepted

Review 71:No available car parking which is so disturbing. Parked my car in "Kudai" had to take taxi every time. I suggest providing shuttle bus to certain areas such as Kudai parking or "Mahbas Aljin". If so our stay would be perfect.

Review 72:Fast check in and out, friendly and professional staff namely Mr. AbdulAziz and Mr. Hosam from front desk. They were so helpful and compassionate with big smiles. Close proximity to Haram, cleanness and bed comfort are superb.

Review 73:Having to use multiple elevators to reach the room. might be incontinent for elderly people to reach Haram.

Review 74:Location, Spacious, Staff, Service, Cleanness, Food, Everything .

Review 75:No signage to the hotel reception from the basement or the entrance of the hotel. Bedroom curtain lets in too much light at the top. Chances to park your car is lucky. Best not to arrive by car.

Review 76:The staff were attentive and interested. Luxury rooms. Next to haram. Restaurants in mall at the base of the building provides choices at reasonable cost.

Review 77:I have to use two elevators to get to the hotel also there was no signs to show the hotel enteranc

Review 78:I liked the view of the Kappa and the breakfast buffet

Review 79:No special prayer haul for the hotel guests. You cannot find place in the group haul. Some of the furniture were not properly maintained (waldrop door cannot be closed) Safe ix in the walldrop was not fixed to the wall, easily i cann carry it out. The other room safe box cannot be closed and they did not come to fix it even i called?!. Sofa in the living room was old and need to be replaced. TV remote hardly work, you have to stand infront of the TV to get it working. The stand light was broken and kept there. When i left the elevator i was puched badly away by hotel local staff simply due to her highnesss gues lady was passing through, stupid deal from that manager staff and it should count against the hotel ?!!! In the SPA i had a massage by Philippno who botherd me most of the time asking for a tip and explains how his family are poor and he needs money. I stay 4 days having everyday the same food menu in the bufee, i got bord of having the same cousines every day!!! Food quality was ok i can give it 3/5 unlike the intercont hotel which i can give it 5/5 I simply never stayies in poor 5 stay hospital like this?!!! It was my second time staiyng in this hotel but there is a huge difference between my first stay and this stay. I shall never repeat this experiance with this hotel but i will go to Intercontanintal hotel in Makkah as it was always my best experiance.

Review 80:Bellmen service was very good specially assistance from staff called Adnan Alkhaldi.

Review 81:I didn't like the Parking. It took me 5 hours to be able to enter the parking area due to tunnel traffic police check point were closed! even though I've showed them the reservation!!! The hotel should find a way to communicate with the traffic police leaders to allow the hotel risedants to enter the tunnel to the parking without any restrictions.

Review 82:•Excellent location •Outstanding staff •Beautiful suite design & furniture •Good restaurant

Review 83:None.

Review 84:Very nice staff and professional, warm welcoming from every one working their. No one spare any effort to assist or advise. Just want to thank Mr. Mohd Hassouna in the reception desk for his advise on room type. And want to thank Mr. Radi and Mr. Abdullah who are best coffee markers. Beds are very comfortable and house keeping are to the standard of Raffles Food is excellent in terms of quality and variety. Very close to the mosque.

Review 85:Everything is good. Only parking have small problem before. Its take time due to 1 person block our car and we wait half and hour to search the ouwner of the car.

Review 86:Everything

Review 87:I booked 4 adults and 2 kids (up to 6 years). When I arrived to the suit I found only one king bed for 2 adults, I had to call the reception several times to provide me with extra beds for the number of people I already booked. I needed to send them the confirmation email (of booking.com) to prove my booking details.

Review 88:Location of the hotel near to Haram Masjid. Suit is spacious and clean. Furniture is new and modern. The reception and service teams were very helpful and cooperative.

Review 89:Ahmed, Adnan and all staff were a class above any other hotel. Valet, complimentary coffee, chilled water in our car in departure, everything was excellent.

Review 90:Although the hotel is trying to introduce a world class service it needs to take care of some small details nevertheless breakfast variety and service quality.

Review 91:The views to Al Haram , The luxury spacious Suite , bed comfort.

Review 92:inspite of knowing that we are four adults ( parents and children) the extra bed came in two instalments 2 hours apart. luckily we went for Umrah but on our return had to wait for 2 hours, so my wife slept on the sofa. There was a power shutdown that night though ! its ok anyways Just fyi

Review 93:Introduction orientation was very explanatory and informative by Mr Ali

Review 94:the only thing that irritated me during my stay was that the hotel mosque was not in the hotel, I've had to use 2 elevators one was from my room till the lobby then I took another outside the hotel to the mosque.

Review 95:The most thing I liked in my stay was the size of the bathroom was excellent with there amenity facilities, including the size of the suite 80 meters squared.

Review 96:The Italian restaurant is not really Italian! The food was not good at all. The elevators to the Haram were very difficult to get, but I don't think they belong to the hotel

Review 97:Staff were friendly and they offer to help in many ways The breakfast was excellent and had lots of varieties The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable

Review 98:Upon leaving the valet parking let us drive down a dark and dingy spiral column. I feel they should have brought the car down to us where we left it with them at the hotel entrance.

Review 99:Loved the service and attitude of staff. Very convenient and close to the Harem. Clean and comfortable - really useful after a tiring Umrah.

Review 100:.The internet initially was good but after 15 min it became very slow and hanging.

Review 101:.Being close to the Haram .The furniture .The breakfast .Housekeeping

Review 102:I don't know but since I lay in the bed, I had skin rach. Although the room was very clean but may be because of cleaners that they use.

Review 103:Fancy and have a great view to the Harram and Kabaa

Review 104:Not I dont like but recomendation the price of the food its little pitexpencive but its very nice food

Review 105:I like the attitue of the staff they are plesent ,I like the HoTel andthe furnuture ,the food

Review 106:Everything. Everything was excellent. Very friendly staff. Very nice room furniture. Very delicious breakfast. Cleaning is wonderful. This is the best hotel I have ever been to. It worths its expensive price.

Review 108:The staff were very friendy, the hotel was clean in all times, tje room service was of high quality/standard and very quick (less than 5 minutes)

Review 109:The shower booth in the room doesnt drain fast, a puddle of water accumulates, when you go to the toilet there is still water reaching there. Other than that, everything is great.

Review 110:Location was great , close to all food areas and shopping after a long day in Haram. Lovely facility and spa to relax after Umrah.

Review 111:Cooperative staff, nice foods and restaurants , availability of services 24 hours, car pick me from airport on time and I like there communication, felt comfort during my stay, I'd like to thank every one to make my holiday amazing in Mecca Thank you raffles Mecca.

Review 112:Great service. The butler took us directly to our room and checked us in. So we didn't have to wait at the reception. They arranged a wheelchair for my mother. Excellent choice.

Review 113:Just the 2 elevators which is not a big deal.

Review 114:The staff were very kind and they are keep asking you if you need anything. They are even called me to check if I need anything.

Review 115:The 2 bedrooms 120sqm suite's living room is pretty small.

Review 116:Issa the night shift manager & front desk staff! Hotel staff are interested to listen & serve! Food is great! Basic suite is spacious & fun to stay in..

Review 117:Waiting time for getting responses from front desk. In addition to the fact that Google map nor my car navigator could not show the right direction to the hotel as the area is under mega construction work and I had to follow a taxi to get to the hotel.

Review 118:Almost every thing.

Review 119:I liked how friendly the staff were. They greated us by our names during our stay whenever we pass by the lobby. They were extremely helpful. We'll definitely stay here again & recommend the place to family/ friends.

Review 120:*The bed mattress and pillows are not that comfy, it would be appreciated if this is taken into consideration. (there are certain extremely comfortable beds used in five stars hotels like the marriott! they have the best comfortable beds/mattresses, as well as a menu of pillows which are environment friendly. *The ladies Spa needs more attention in terms of the quality of the provided sevices by the staff, massages and the ambiance as well, so it will suit Raffles world wide standards. Wish Raffles Makkah team all the best

Review 121:Overall Evereything! mostly the welcoming staff, the quality of the in room service food, the continous feedback required upon the delivered service, the complimentary arabic coffee and dates in the lobby:) *The quitness of the place

Review 122:Seems to be getting a bit tired. The cleanliness is ok, I would expect much better.

Review 123:very good service from the staff. Excellent location. Well appointed and large rooms. Very good breakfast buffet.

Review 124:I was looking to stay at higher level in 20's and above. While I used to stay in 6's floor. The view was not as expected due to constrractions work in al haram.

Review 125:Upgrading the room to the favorable level within seconds.

Review 126:the receptionist and the night manager who did the check in (6 April 2015) for me, as they were not helpful and they charged me for my kids although my fried who did the check out in the same day did not pay.

Review 127:breakfast and the location of the hotel as it was near from Haram

Review 128:The suite has nothing to be called a presidential Suite, The name is not representing its value, that also in a hotel owned by the Royals, The Suite does not have a Full Kaaba View, the view is from one extended window in each room

Review 129:The Staff was extra ordinary helpful

Review 130:for such a facility the beds were very uncomfortable although very clean and classy.

Review 131:the location is fantastic, very convenient and staff are amazingly friendly and helpful .

Review 132:None

Review 134:The ac vents in our room was directly above our heads when we were sleeping

Review 135:The location was great, the food was amazing and the staff were very helpful with a pleasant smile all the time.

Review 136:details on the web is not matching the actual, they offer rooms for certain number of people when you go there you discover that this should be after extra bed !! so the space becomes crowded with furniture, they have discrimination, they give good rooms for certain nationalities, if you are not within their preferred nationalities they give you the less in quality rooms

Review 137:Idéale located Hotel facilities The staff in the réception, thks to shérif and Issa daoud Special thks to Idriss in butler who was very professional, helpfull and attentioned Thks to the Housekeeping and all the service in the back office Very Nice expérience I recommand it
