Review 2：1.If you are choosing hotel just for living inside-this is not your option. Mobarak Plaza is a pleasant place to stay more for night time. 2. Good location, kind and helpful staff (especially Mrs Taqreed and Mrs. Amal), huge tasty eastern breakfast (rare you will meet such breakfast with plenty options), good room fascilities.

Review 7：Bathroom was small especially the shower. Very old fashioned. Defo not a 4* bathroom. More like a hostel. Drainage system poor. Crack under sink and every time you stepped on the tile water came up. Bathroom smelt of smoke most of the time probably came from the room below. Cleaning service extremely poor. The worst i have encountered considering we travel quite a lot. We left 'make our room' sign out two days and no one cleaned. I had to get a hotel staff to vacuum the room. Another day I got it myself and cleaned. Previous customers rubbish found under bed. One bed's side was broken. Beds were never made nor was any fresh towels given and we stayed 6 nights and 7 days. Emptied the bins ourselves. Rubbish eft outside room never collected and at times took them to the main lobby our selves and threw it. Wifi hardly ever worked even in the main lobby. When I complained to booking.com manager on the last day that's when they took things seriously! But by then we were going to check out. Now I understand why out of over 40 pictures on booking site not a single picture of the bathroom! And why most customers complained about it too.

Review 30：Very old and tired hotel in need of refurbishment. Rooms very tired and a small jolt of the bed revealed a lot of dirt and debri underneath, not well cleaned at all. WiFi really terrible when in lobby and absolutely no WiFi in your room Ridiculous! No continental breakfast at all!! No English speaking reception staff! Cleaning staff only on premises between 6-2pm so once they gone for the day best be patient.

Review 44：The room was for 4 adults , there was hardly any room to move around or put our suitcases. The closet was a mock closet, because when you open the door it lead to a wall!. The highlight was the shower, for example it was soooo small that if you were to drop the soap, which there was no holder for, you have to open the shower door to get out to pick the soap! the bathroom was dirty as well. Our room number was 116 stay away from it! The food was had no variety and not selection for young children. Also the staff was miserable and very low due to the manager yelling at them infront of everyone. This is very unprofessional to see at breakfast. Shuttle service not on time and dropped far from masjid al haram and then you walk another 15 min. We ended up taking the taxi instead. It is not 650m as advertised. Not suitable for children at all or elderly.

Review 77：1. Small washroom. 2. No parking - only 8 to 10 lots and occupied mostly. I parked nearby parking building called Moaqaf Misfillah. It was free but difficult to find a parking even in this 5 / 6 story building.

Review 93：1. Location is away from the Holy mosque, and they promised shuttle buses, but no scheduled timing, with two nights I could not get their shuttle buses, not even once. 2. A very big entrance and lobby, but they are very concern about the electricity expense. It was very hot as all main air-conditioning system of the lobby was off, and was sweating while waiting for check-in. On my repeated request, one area air-condition was open and was asked to wait there, which was not enough. 3. Breakfast of poor quality 4. WIFI was open access but very weak.

Review 94：I requested an early check-in and was informed by booking.com that the request was relayed to the hotel. Upon arrival, the hotel denied receiving my request and that caused me a lot of difficulty.

Review 97：We did not get the room booked for us for the first night. The room provided was extremely poor. The hotel could not do anything until the next day. Despite request for the room to be cleaned no one actually arrived. Must have called them at least 3 times. The room next day was better but not much better and the hotel advised us that were their 'executive floor' and the room was 'VIP'. Very poor standards at the hotel in our experience. The hotel should be viewed as some 2 or 3 star based on our experience. I will try and upload photos.

Review 98：Don,t expect a fancy hotel. It serves the purpose of visitors to Makkah and you don't need transportation but it is 10 min walk.

I traveled with my family for "Omra", the location is far away from Al-Haram, and not like what they wrote in the Homepage, facilities are poor compared to the high price. Most important are the rooms ! the rooms seems to be for single persons, very small and crowded with poor facilities. I do not advise to stay at this hotel especially with family, there are many others hotels just around with good prices.
