Review 1：We stayed at Hotel Euro Moniz for one night. When we come and visit Madeira, we always try to find time to go and stay. At first, our stay was meant to be on the 15th. Unfortunately, for many reasons, we had to move the date on the day itself. I contacted the hotel and Mr. José Manuel Teixeira easily moved it! As we arrived, Mr. Teixeira welcomed us very warmly. They have an underground hotel parking lot. We enjoyed to the pool, sauna and Jacuzzi and the room was so very clean, tidy and with a lovely view towards the seaside! We asked for a late check out and we got it with no extra charge fee. They have a very nice, quiet bar on the top floor as well. In the morning, the breakfast has an ideal variety of juices, hot food, cereals, etc. Wonderful! We'll surely continue to go there! We would like to thank the lovely staff, specially Mr. Teixeira for making our stay so nice!

Review 4：Swimming pool was not heated, the hot-tub is dangerous..[ it was in our opinion installed poorly as the steps to enter the hot tub were placed facing a wall !!!...with less than a foot to try to enter the hot-tub!!!] There were no grab bars/ handles to hold onto. There was no indication where the steps were to enter the hot tub. expected them to be in more convenient spot. I would give serious warning about the safety aspect of entering the hot tub. Both my partner and I slipped [I pulled muscle on left leg] while trying to get in the hot tub.. again I repeat there were no handles to grab and no indication where the steps were... and with water bubbling, the visibility was minimal...

Review 36：We had a suite in the eastern wing. A sunny balcony until 16.00h. The suite was spacious. It had a fridge. Carpet on the floor. But is was clean. Sea view and mountain view. What we did not like were the beds. Very hard. I had no problems with the hard bed, but my wife has hip problems, so she did not like it. We did the levada walk number PR7: Levada do Moinho. It was a beautiful walk. We also liked the natural swimming pool; entrance fee: euro 1,50. There is a new restaurant near the ancient natural swimming pool: Cachalote. A very good restaurant.The tuna was tender, not dry. Normally tuna is baked to long. the lulas were also very good. Free wifi in the lobby and the bar on the third floor. This bar has a magnificent sea view

Review 37：In earlier reviews, my only complaint was the pool and jacuzzi were a bit on the cold side. The hotel must have noticed this as now they are at a perfect temperature. I found our bathroom could have used a bit of attention as there was a bit of mold around the tub.

Review 38：This hotel is the most conveniently located hotel in Porto Moniz. Located just steps away from the natural sea pools and restaurants. The staff is helpful and accommodating, always with a smile.

Review 39：First thing we did not like was the breakfast, which was really bad, from quality point of view and also was not enough, i.e. at 08:30 in the morning almost nothing could be found, no eggs, no cake, no fruits. We found just some bread, cheese and ham. Second bad thing were the ants in the room, and there were a lot in the morning.

Review 104：Air conditioning in our room was broken, and after 4 days it was still not repaired. Therefor I gave a lower quatation for comfort. The building must be quite young, yet there are small issues of maintainance/repair popping up (example the aicro as mentioned, some mildew and peeling paint downstairs in the pool area). These didn't influence our stay, but in the long run they can harm the quality of the hotel.
