Reviews for Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

Review 1:The hard sales pitch for timeshares when we arrived was very annoying. The manicure/pedicure at the spa was WAY overpriced for what it was.

Review 2:Nice resort. Not too big like some others in the area. Food was very good and the staff at the Seaside Grill were the best! Loved our room with the swim out pool.

Review 3:Seaweed loaded with garbage all along the beach. Totally not the hotel's fault, they tried but failed miserably trying to clean it up each day. Luckily the pool area is great!!

Review 4:The staff was amazing; always happy and ensuring you are happy. The food exceeded my expectations, especially the AM buffet. Excellent location close to Tulum and the ruins. Have you cab driver recommend a local cenote for a fantastic snorkeling adventure. So much better than the big hotel sponsored tours.

Review 5:I had paid for an upgrade upon arrival and I was told later by the concierge that their system did not reflect it. I had to keep asking for additional stuff I paid and was promised.

Review 6:The resort was a lovely large size so we didnt feel on top of other guests. All the staff were so friendly and willing to help us with anything anytime. There was a fun atmosphere but then also we could relax and do our own thing.

Review 7:Amazing resort. It was beautiful, the staff was fabulous, the food was great. We renewed our wedding vows, and the staff went above and Browns to make the experience special and romantic!

Review 8:We were invited to here about the hotel. We were told it would be an hour and half tour when in fact it took more than THREE hours! They tried to convince us to join and purchase a membership. We did not to join and they just tried to convince us over and over. It was very uncomfortable and took a lot of energy and large part of our day was lost.

Review 9:Beautiful place. Great service. Good food and a lot to do.

Review 10:The food was at times inedible. Nothing was even an average level of tastiness - the food was woefully bad. The beach was so covered in seaweed that it wasn't possible to go into the ocean.

Review 11:The architecture of the buildings and the overall visual experience was good - the resort itself is beautiful.

Review 12:No bad experiences at all. However the pools are very shallow and are very warm. When it's 90 out humid a cooler pool would have been welcome.

Review 13:We traveled here with our 14yo daughter who and it was the first time out of the country for her. Everyone at Dreams was wonderful, we had a great time at this resort and it was relaxing to not have to deal with finding food every day. Swimout rooms are fantastic!

Review 14:They said the resort was going to be part children and part all adults. Children were everywhere. The buffet was disgusting and the food in general was sub par.

Review 15:The rooms are nice, the people who work there are helpful.

Review 16:Food average at best and occasionally awful. Noisy "entertainment" with and nowhere to escape for some peace and quiet unless you stay in your room, event he coffee lounge is right next to the overly loud and amateurish entertainment areas. Loud cheesy music accompany daily Zumba, aquarobics and even a foam party once a week, say no more. Avoid unless you just want to get drunk and set an awful example for your kids.

Review 17:Rooms well appointed, especially swim out rooms. Majority of staff really nice and helpful.

Review 18:I have been in other dreams hotels which are way much better than the one in tulum. Food is good but less options than other resorts, there is no jakuzzi and our key got disactivated 15 minutes before check out... we had to wait over 30 min to get our room opened again even 3 persons with a master key were there (no one seems to be authorized to open our door) Mexican people is not treated the same way as foreigners, staff is always looking for tips even they are supposed to be included. There is no beach in this hotel!! Just a tiny spot to swim, nothing compared to tulum's beach

Review 19:Food was good and rooms are very nice

Review 20:Our room was perfect but a lot of the rooms are right in front of public walkways

Review 21:We loved the staff and the whole ambience here - very relaxed and friendly. The food was excellent for the meat eaters. Once the vegetarians asked for more options, we ate really well!! We met Chef Carlos and they all made a great effort to accommodate us. Beautiful landscaping!

Review 22:The food was beyond description, horrible, awful, inedible. I simply did not eat while we were there. Yes, in an "all inclusive" resort I gave up eating after trying to find something. Unfortunately, my husband did eat and he got food poisoning so we left as soon as we could. No restaurant had good tasting food. One bed in our room was too hard to think about sleeping in and the other was almost as miserable. There was not one comfortable item of furniture in the room. I would never consider another Dreams (Nightmares) resort.

Review 23:We liked nothing about this hotel. The people were nice but that does not justify $500 a night. We got almost no service in our room and even waited a half hour for a bellman when we checked out. I would never return and never want anyone I liked to go there. I find walking difficult and everything if at a great distance. Nothing is easy.

Review 24:I didn't like the weather on the day I left. It was the beginning of a tropical storm. I should have asked for an umbrella from the front desk the night before, but forgot. The next morning I had to make a dash from my room to the lobby and got soaked for the ride to the airport. None of that was the Resorts fault!

Review 25:I loved the experience of an inclusive resort. I didn't have to worry about anything except what time to meet friends for meals. Food was terrific at all restaurants. Entertainment was provided. I didn't leave the resort during my stay and don't feel like I missed a thing.

Review 37:i love dreams because they provide us with excellent service especially at front desk and the concierge. The facilities were great!
