Reviews for Hotell Fjällgården Åre
Review 1:very small rooms, but very good furnished. we had to change the room after the first night. the first room was incredible noisy. second room was much better. First night was horrible. didn't get any sorry or discount
Review 2:nice place for starting walking tours or bicycle tours
Review 3:The location is excellent - if you have a car. The "bergbana" only takes you up the hill until 4 pm. If you arrive back in down from your daily hiking after that, you have to walk up the hill. It is fine once. But not every day... The breakfast has a great selection, but if you are a marmalade addict - as I am -, you should consider bringing some otherwise you will eat strawberry jam every morning. There is a restaurant with a decent menu, with decent cuisine. The facilities were clean, but some corners in the room have been missed.
Review 4:The staff has been very friendly, the breakfast has been good and the view is fantastic! Very pleased.
Review 5:Excellent food and service. It's about 150 vertical meters above the village though so it's also good exercise after a visit to the village center.
Review 6:Small bathroom for deluxe room, but not really a problem
Review 7:Everything! Good location, perfect breakfast! Good restaurant!
Review 8:No ski pass to be purchased on the spot, you need to go down to the main center. No ski rental facilities SPA from hotel was partially out of order or not working properly.
Review 9:Great location. Nice style and design providing refreshing comfort and relaxation. Good cuisine and breakfast. Excellent beer "Till" from ostersund. Busy place with some events going on.
Review 10:The tubs should be more out of site. The rooms are perhaps a bit too warm and dense Priority on hotel guest for lunch and afterski, The sink and the tapper is ridiculous solution. Bar at the hotel unattended after 2200 hrs.
Review 11:A fantastic stay, and wonderful level of service mindedness, and a good atmosphere. A huge thanks to the staff! Dinner, good. Breakfast was very good. The amazing part was the afterski, whilst filled up and crowded, you managed to clean up within an hour. Well done. One small thing though, the guest of the hotel, really need to be prioritized in the lounge or something, as we experienced no room for guest staying at the hotel. Also, the "pool" should be moved, to a location a bit away from the afterski and dining area, as it is very much at display. Thankfully, the room we stayed at had a large hot tub! Otherwise, its worth the long trip Oslo-Åre, and we would very much love to return. The slopes are fantastic, and the hotel is located beautifully and in a very convenient place, in the midst of the slope, and close proximity of Åre center by cable trollies. Again, thank you for a most pleasant stay!
Review 12:Sauna and changing room too small/cramped for size of hotel/crowd: gets messy quickly and wet all over changing room Rooms nice but somewhat basic for price
Review 13:Fantastic location on the mountiain Ski in/out Views Staff Breakfast Dinner After ski Beds Sauna + outdoor hot tubs Lounge areas
Review 14:Small room, a bit damp.
Review 15:Location is great for skiing
