Reviews for Coco Tulum

Review 1:Great stylish place directly on the sand with best beach bar - loved the waitress service to the beach beds/hammocks. We had tower 2 and it as fab, lovely big balcony and sea views

Review 2:I didn't like the fact of the generator going out on occasions. Also the staff seem to be very slow at taking care of their guest. I was really disappointed at the lack of accessible ATM's! It made the trip a bit stressful.

Review 3:I really enjoyed the room. It was so greatly located.

Review 4:I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Review 5:The staff is amazing! Very helpful, knowledgable, fun and polite. Rooms are very clean and cozy. Nice combination of beach and jungle vibes. The new beach bar is great as well. Overall nice bang for the buck!

Review 6:Most of the rooms have no privacy since they are all crammed into a rather small space between the main road and beach

Review 7:It's a total rip off in terms of value for money I have stayed in the most spectacular places in Mexico on this trip and was most disappointed by Tulum and in particular the hotel They don't mention that they only have salt water shower etc ... Which some people and me including don't like very much and it feels excessively expensive for what it is

Review 8:We stayed in the newer part of the hotel, the cabanas where infested with roaches and ants. Moved us to another cabana and same roach problem. Hopefully they can fix this soon.

Review 9:Beautiful location next to beach. Good design and friendly staff.

Review 10:We had issues with payment when checking out but they were creatively resolved. As long as you realise that there's shared bathrooms and no air-conditioning before arriving, there's really nothing not to like.

Review 11:Red button on the beach to press in case of hunger or thirst, best feature ever!!! :-D

Review 12:Next time in Tulum we may upgrade for AC and private bathrooms, otherwise we are headed right back to Coco Tulum.

Review 13:The environment is so relaxed and friendly we spent much more time at the hotel bar, beach and restaurant than we had ever imagined. Restaurant is great food and great value.

Review 14:No WC in the room, Cabanas are not completely closed -> gap between roof and door, roof leaked in the rain

Review 15:Very good restaurant, nice beach, friendly people, good WiFi, gorgeous view from room

Review 16:Everyone was so nice and down to earth, extremely helpful with every question. The place had a very chill laid back vibe and environmentally conscious. Music playing was always on point from deep house at night to hip hop beats during the day... Just a good variety. Ocean was beauty and clean. The huts were really simple and cute and clean!! Food was amazing, get the gnocchi or stone baked pizza... Delisiosso! Location is great! u can walk to most places or rent a bike with them. I really lucked out finding this place and would definitely come back again. Miss it already.

Review 17:Be aware there is no air con. Breakfast not provided but restaurant onsite.

Review 18:Had a room right on the beach and a hammock outside our door. Great food at cafe and wifi. Beautiful and clean!

Review 19:Minor inconvenience is the shared shower/toilet facilities, especially at night if you've had a few beers. We stayed in a second level beach view hut and it was a bit of a trek to the toilet. Some rooms come with private bathroom though.

Review 20:Sister restaurant Juanito Diavolo serves good food. Location on beach in the middle of the hotel strip is great.

Review 21:I didn't like the cleanliness of the room and bed net. Ishouldn't see dead bugs in the bed night when I arrive. There is noac which I actually like but it makes it difficult to sleep especiallysince you want to leave the door open to get a breeze but the bed net isalready gross so you don't want to surround yourself with it and thefan blows it on you and if you let it down. So the alternative is breezeand mosquitoes or sweat! The sheets were a bit dirty as well and werenot always changed. Rented bikes from the hotel and the chains keptbreaking as we were riding. Found a local spot down the road that hadbetter bikes and where cheaper. You would think since you are a payingguest the bike rental would be cheaper at your hotel but that is nottrue. Tip: Do some research on what is around you as there are a lot ofnear by stores and places to eat. Don't assume that because you arealready a paying guest your hotel will give you the better rate. Bringmosquito spray!!!!! They are in a nice location close to other coolplaces but also for attracting mosquitoes.

Review 22:I liked the view from our balcony and seeing the sunrise and sunseteveryday was beautiful. The bed felt comfortable until crawly friendswould come to visit. The fresh juice at their bar and the food wasalways perfect. They have the best pizza and pastas as they make it allby hand. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall it was a goodexperience though the price was a bit high for the place.

Review 23:Spa was expensive - go next door.

Review 24:Amazing place. Loved it here. Staff really helpful, great food at reasonable prices ( for the area). Beautiful spot and shared facilities were spotless and really pleasant.

Review 25:The bathrooms are shared. It's an Eco Hotel, so what can you expect. Nonetheless, the showers are very clean. There is even an outdoor one by the beach. Use that one... It's lovely.

Review 26:What a wonderful place. The staff treated me so well. I will return again!

Review 27:Unfortunately currently there is a lot of grass coming from the sea to the beach, nothing to blame the hotel of it due it´s a natural effect. Even though, you can relax in the great beach this hotel has.

Review 28:The hotel is amazing!! Really well taken care and excellent conditions, staff is really nice and helpful, the staff in the restaurant is the best!! Came for my anniversary trip and they gave us some courtesy and excellent service. Regardless of having shared bathrooms, this hotel rocks!

Review 29:The wi-fi was a bit patchy. But that's about it really.

Review 30:We loved staying here. The location and facilities were great. Not having air con wasn't much of an issue after we mastered where to position the fan. The staff at the bar and restaurant were fantastic. Very friendly and a lot of fun.

Review 31:The copious amounts of seaweed on the beach was horrible, if we had known how bad it was we would've cancelled our trip. Also the garden bungalow was very hot and stuffy, the fan provided was hopeless.

Review 32:Generally the facilities were very clean. One staff member was good but the rest were rude or useless.

Review 33:They advertised a/c but in fact there was only a fan

Review 34:The style, location, decor, atmosphere, and music were so perfect in every way!! We'd definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!

Review 35:Unfortunately, one staff member recommended a driver who turned out tobe not so great and we found ourselves in what felt like a verydangerous situation. We were really unhappy as we had trusted the staffand almost travelled illegally from Tulum to Cancun - and we came face-to-face with Mexican taxi 'mafia' in a really stressfulsituation....

Review 36:Second time I stayed and before I arrived the staff were super friendlyand helpful. The location is amazing and the service was generally good.Unfortunately, the whole experience was tainted by the bad advice givenby a staff member..

Review 37:It's not that obvious when you book that it's shared bathroom. Taking that into account, it's not great value for money. Breakfast is not included, it's expensive, there is a limited selection and the service isn't great. + the seaweed in Tulum was really awful when we were there

Review 38:Great location Nice garden Stylish rooms

Review 39:All the photos in the hotel's website are outdated. They've had a algae / sea weed problem for months and the whole coast is covered in them. The water is not crystal clear but dirty brown. We asked to cancel our reservation as soon as we arrived and saw the beach, but they said they do not issue any refunds. We were expecting to spend most of our time on the beach, but given that the beach was unsuitable for swimming we would have rather rented a car and go someplace else. To be clear, I'm not complaining about this natural event -- I'm complaining about the fraud and deception carried away by this hotel by hiding this information and publishing unrealistic photos. The front desk couldn't answer most of our questions and was unwilling to help with any tips on what to do around the hotel. There was a beautiful small cenote a short walk away from the hotel but we had to find that out by ourselves. The restaurant staff was really friendly though and the food was really good.

Review 40:Coco Tulum had an awesome location, extremely helpful staff and was next to a delicious restaurant. In terms of location and value, Coco Tulum was great!

Review 41:Shared bathrooms: even though they are lovely and very clean, with nice music and all the facilities there, I like my ensuite especially at night. The hotel can be a little bit more upfront about the shared facilities, on the booking app it only showed at the room option so we didnt know until we arrived.

Review 42:Beautiful resort at a great location in Tulum, with private beach and excellent restaurant. Super friendly staff and great service.

Review 43:Two out of three receptionists were not friendly nor helpful. One of them was especially snob, and when we asked for information about cenotes she did not want to recommend any, and failed to mention that cenotes close at around 5pm (it was 4.30). So we took a car and drove for 20 minutes only to find out that it was not possible to visit the cenote anymore. Another thing to mention is that THERE IS NO SOFT WATER in the hotel. You can only drink the bottled water that they leave in your room (and they forgot to leave it for 2 out of 4 nights). This also means that when you shower, you shower with salt water. I can understand that, as you are right on the beach, but it is worth mentioning because some might not like it.

Review 44:Our cabana was gorgeous, the place is enchanted, the shared toilet clean and beautifully decorated. One of the reception girls was very helpful: she changed our cabana after the first night as we said we liked another one better, and she recommended a stroll down the beach after 9pm to meet some turtles (which we did).

Review 45:Wi-Fi was a bit slow, which is normal in the area. Not a big deal though since we wanted a break from phones and computers :)

Review 46:Our hut was just steps away from the beach, everything was beautiful. We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Tulum!

Review 49:I love everything about CoCo Tulum: the food, drinks, staffs, the beachview, great location, etc. *I have been to many restaurants and barsduring my trip in Mexico and I promise to you that the Pina Colada atJuanita Diavola (right behind the reception) is by far the best I haveever had in Tulum (and Mexico if i'm allowed to say that!).Definitely will come back to CoCo again in my next trip.

Review 50:The front desk staff wasn't super friendly or helpful. It felt a bit like we were bothering them when we asked for restaurant suggestions or where to find the nearest ATM.

Review 51:The location and the beach is to die for.

Review 52:No private loo/shower/basin. We understand why and came prepared with our Glasto Bog-in-a-Bag but at this price its pretty irritating. Attitude of member of staff who knew I'd queried this.

Review 53:Location. White everything. Pizzas. Smiley housekeeping. Cool vibe. Cool location next to the best beach bar in Tulum.

Review 54:No bad experiences at all! staff was completely professional and nice. Shared bathroom was an out of the ordinary pleasure, given the foot-cleansing bowls of water, and the piped-in great music. Some seaweed on the beach, but who cares!!

Review 55:Quiet and beautiful. Great staff mixing up great drinks. They let me practice my spanish at the bar.

Review 56:People of the frontdesk was not very helpful when we asked for information about tours and things to do in tulum. The restaurant was a little bit pricy. Water from showers was salty.

Review 57:Our room was awsome, number 15 perhaps one of the top 3 of the hotel. The view, privacy and closeness to the bathroom and showers made our stay very comfortable. People of the cleaning staff was very nice and friendly.

Review 58:I loved our stay at Coco Tulum, my husband and I were looking to relax away from the noise of the city. Aside from the beautiful private beach we had within walking distance of our room it was very comfortable and the food was great. I loved the concept of nature intertwined with the lovely chic cabins, each has its own hammock and the rooms have either garden or sea view. Although we would have loved the sea view the garden view was just as lovely and breathtaking just waking up to that you instantly connect with nature. The cabins were sitting on white sandy beach, The whole stay was memorable. We will definitely come back!

Review 59:So relaxing to be able to walk out your front door down a sandy path and see the ocean. I like that the place is solar and wind powered. Communal shower/toilets very clean and never too busy. Good pizza in the restaurant out the front too!

Review 60:Beach in spring is Full of plants in the water, Shared restrooms for men and women! Not Clearly stated in the hotel description, May be a Problem for someone

Review 61:The rooms are just in a Perfect decoration and location - like a dream

Review 62:Girl at the reception wasn't at all interested in a problem we communicated (insect sprayer had blown loads of dirt and dust into our cabana). The mosquito net wasn't covering the whole bed, had holes in it and didn't reach the floor. Coco Tulum is way to expensive for the basics they offer, then again, Tulum is pricy everywhere. Hotel beach is a bit small, Hotel guests have hardly privacy there. The restaurant of the hotel offers average food.

Review 63:The maids were very friendly and sweet. The location of the cabanas is very beautiful and well maintained.

Review 64:Wifi was slow. No air conditioning. Minimal storage for clothing in huts. Take note- shared bathrooms! $13 U.S. bike hire per day even when staying at hotel.

Review 65:Beds were comfortable, we had queen- however some rooms only had doubles. Great location, delicious pizza at the adjoining restaurant. Food and drink service to room and at beach great- however could be quicker. 12pm check out was fabulous. Cleaners and most staff lovely.

Review 66:The bangalows are very close to each other. They are in the beach, but no view. You see just the back of other bangalow. The furniture is none (a bed, some shelfs, a smal table table and a trunk, only), the baggage on the floor, no mini bar or sink. The food is terrible and no services. We have no contact with the staff. In the colective bathroon no hot water. Just warm or cold. No amenities. The price is worthless. In this case, to be eco seems an excuse to be bad, no have services or confort. The worst hotel i have ever been.

Review 67:The beach

Review 68:Upgraded to Tower room with private bathroom, but our room was garden level and there was no view to the beach/ocean. As well, the Tower suite 1 (main floor) had little privacy and we were exposed to everyone using the common bathrooms as well as staff coming in early AM to start their job.

Review 69:Layout, design, space

Review 70:Bike hire is incredibly expensive, hire from town if you can

Review 71:Perfect location, great section of the beach to be on, cabanas are good sized with their own outside seating area, beautiful setting well looked after, restaurant very popular, great staff

Review 72:Coco is a wonderful ,charming place to stay for a solo traveler as a woman traveling alone you will feel very comfortable and safe in these beach bungalows. The shared bathrooms are extremely clean and easily located. There is a small restaurant on property and bar.You also have access to free Wi-Fi.I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Review 73:This place is a excellent place in Tulum especially given that thehotel prices more accurately reflect New York than Mexico. We were in#26 which I think is the nosiest (with the wind power fans) but stillreally lovely. We had our own private entrance and outdoor shower. Wewere initially concerned about the shared bath and showers, butyou'd be surprised how quickly you adapt to your surroundings. After one day, it didn't bother us one bit. Actually, we found itto be much better for the environment and efficient. They are superclean, so really no need to worry about that. The beach was wonderfuland service great. The restaurant is not good. Service is super slow(but they are all nice) and just skip the salad... This prob goes foreverywhere in Mexico. The coffee and fresh squeezed juice are amazing. But other than that, you are paying nyc prices for eh food. There aregreat places in the neighborhood so try something new. Definitely wouldstay here again in Tulum.

Review 74:My travelling companion would have liked a simple bedside table.

Review 75:Coco Tulum is on a beautiful beach with wonderful swimming. I liked the large pergola that allowed us to enjoy the beach without baking in the sun. It has a large complement of pleasant cleaning and maintenance staff who work constantly to keep everything spotless. The cabanas are cozy and comfortable. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable (for Tulum) prices. Water in washrooms was always hot, and wifi always available. Good security at night.

Review 76:In the hotele there is a restaurant but with italian cuisine. The pizza is very tasty but we were looking for something traditional to eat, the maxican food, not european. Moreover it's quite expensive.

Review 77:Very nice place to stay and rest from the civilization. The cabanas are cozy and comfortable. Bathrooms are very clean but be prepared for salty water. Electricity in on 24hrs. In front of every cabana there is a pario with deckchairs, table and a hammock.

Review 78:the cabin isn't airtight, so we had a lot of mosquitoes - even with a net they managed to get in, I found it hard to sleep knowing I was being bitten.

Review 79:great location, cabin right on the beach, good food at the cafe, good service getting food and drinks on the beach.

Review 80:Nothing! My only suggestion would be to provide hand towels in rooms for showering.

Review 81:We loved everything about Coco Tulum. It was quaint and intimate; the staff was nice and accommodating; the food at the restaurant was really good too! It was lovely to be able to sit in the hammock lounge area on the beach. We loved it all. We plan to come back next year.

Review 82:No room service. Would be nice to have a bathroom door and a beach facing restaurant. All in all, this is an amazing hotel, but it's not cheap for what it offers.

Review 83:Awesome location, view from room (first floor in the tower) was phenomal

Review 84:Make sure to ask for a cabana on the beach row, otherwise you'll miss half of the charm.

Review 85:We stayed in a lovely cabana straight on the beach. The beach is amazing in this area of Tulum, you can take beautifull long walks. Comfortable lounge chairs and hammocks on the beach. Great cocktails with a beach service. Nice restaurant with lovely pizza's and pasta's.

Review 86:Tulum beach is really really expensive, so is this plays and in this case you have to share your (mostly clean) bathroom like in every other hostel, that's not a minus but something some poeple should think about

Review 87:Extraordinary great surroundings with small huts in a natural grown garden directly at the beach, this place satisfy every cliché of a beach hideout for western people, finally .

Review 88:- bike rental costs 10 US$ a day and the bikes are not very well maintained - when it is raining there is not other choice than hanging out in your cabana (and even for going to the loo or restaurant you will be soaking wet) - quality of food in restaurant was ok, but not amazing (better restaurants closeby) - internet connection could be stronger (you are not allowed to stream videos, but anyhow you just can't) - after it startet raining we asked at the reception if we could leave earlier and come back at the end of our trip, which was fine for them (in case they had availabilities and / or we accepted a lower room category), but when asking for it, the hotel manager denied this although they had availabilities on booking / their website. Not very nice situation and e-mail conversations. I know that they could not resell the two nights we left earlier, but personally I would rather have a satisfied guest than an empty room in my hotel - would not recommend to go there, there are hotels in the same category for cheaper prices and closer to the main hangout points

Review 89:- cabanas are directly at the beach, amazing beach view from own terrace - rooms and bathrooms are clean

Review 90:We def had the best room in the resort, the bed was clean and very comfortable and we had everything we nee, plus a great, very private balcony. The only slight niggle for us was that our room did feel a little bit tired/shabby - especially for the price we paid. Nothing major that would have stopped us staying there though. And the only other thing was the white noise from the winds in the conical roof and small turbine on the adjacent tower - not a huge problem as white noise, but not as peaceful as some of the other cabanas lower down. It did start to grate on us a little after 5 days.

Review 91:Great location, beautiful beach, stunning views of the jungle, fab restaurant (stone fired pizzas), great cocktails, friendly staff, relaxing and peaceful. The topfloor room in the tower (Tower room 3) really did have the best views of the jungle and the beach, a fab kingsize bed with stunning sunrises every morning, and starry skies at night.

Review 92:Value for money is low I have to say, but that seems to be a general problem in Tulum...

Review 93:Tulum is beautiful. Coco Tulum also. Beautiful beach, very relaxing

Review 94:Good place to stay, only 1 block from the main strip. Beautiful cabins, very clean. Pool is great, drinks and drinks service is superb. Breakfast is awesome, staff are super friendly.

Review 95:The beds were a bit hard for my liking and one bird in particular perched outside our window every morning and woke us up.... Really nothing to complain about! Just to be forewarned this area is not cheap. We found everywhere was more money than back at home (Canada). But we the food is incredible :)

Review 96:We found Coco Tulum on recommendation from a friend. We were absolutely blown away by this lovely, romantic boutique hotel. Everyone there, including guests were so friendly... I think we all felt like we had lucked out finding this incredible hotel and it was our little secret. Our private hut in the garden (#12) was just perfect. Far enough away from the ocean to have a bit of quite and off the path enough to have our privacy. We will definitely be back! Thank you Coco Tulum!

Review 97:The mosquitoes and sandflies are pretty full-on in October!

Review 98:Proximity to the beach and sea, food and range of food available at nearby restaurants, bike hire, romantic atmosphere, our room was gorgeous. Waking up to the sound of the sea and the sunrise - there is nothing like it.

Review 99:The bug nets for the bed was a bit sticky to touch, I guess it was sprayed with bug spray?

Review 100:Me and my girlfriend stayed two nights in one of the cabanas on the beach and enjoyed the Epic Sunrises at 630am. Very romantic and just what we needed. the breakfast at the restaurant/bar was great, as well as the pizza and salad we had for dinner. The shared bathrooms/showers were always clean and I liked the outside foot rinses at the entrance to them. There was a nice walled shower with roof open to the stars/sun available to use with foot rinse as well that was great, close to the beach, and usually available. We rented bicycles from the front desk that worked well to ride into town for anything we needed, trinket shopping, and good exercise. the staff wass very friendly and helpful. We will for sure be back!

Review 101:Perfect atmosphere! Nice staff, good food and the cabins have all the basic things you need. They even provide bottles of mineral waterevery time they make up your room. If you want a day-tour the reception can book it for you. I highly recommend Kan Tours.

Review 102:The bathroom is not in the room which is a bit of a pain at night (though very clean).

Review 103:The beach cabins are really on the beach. The beach is clean. The staff is very helpful and speaks English well. The restaurant is also recommended.

Review 104:Shared bathrooms were clean and close by, but somewhat less convenient than in-room bathroom. Since I knew this in advance I was prepared and it was not a big deal.

Review 105:View and closeness to the sea was amazing ! We loved our 2nd storey room, very clean and comfortable. Beach was really nice and readily accessible. Easy to walk on beach and go eat out in other places. Restaurant was also good and fairly priced.

Review 106:The mosquitos!! We went in September they were killing us. Pick the right time to go. Bathrooms were communal. Didn't bother me, gave a more engaged experience. My partner felt like we were camping. It's a small inconvenience for the superior quality of accommodation at such a great price.

Review 107:Staff were amazing. Seemed genuinely friendly and relaxed yet extremely professional. Place very clean. Food and drinks great.location perfect we went to check out some of the more expensive places. They looked great on websites but only Coco actually is what u see on website.

Review 108:The sheets could have been a higher quality-slightly itchy, and stifling in the heat...even with the fan they provide, and an open door.

Review 109:Grounds were impeccably maintained. The beach front was beautiful-plenty of chairs and shade. The rooms were exactly what I expected, and I enjoyed the simplicity.

Review 110:The prices. Everywhere in Tulum you face with overpricing everything. Here it was with the bike rent. 160pesos for 24 hours??? It's two much, considering that we needed 2 bicycles,it would be 320. However,in the centre you can find scooters! for 300pesos a day and bicycles for 50pesos. Btw,the ride to the centre of Tulum is really nice and easy.

Review 111:1) Staff-friendly and helpful and speak English (and Spanish I guess, too, we don't know), surprisingly not so many people in Tulum speak good English. 2) The place is incredibly well-cleaned every day, the toilets and showers, the rooms, even the beach is cleaned every morning. Other beaches around stink of seaweed and are really dirty. 3) the rooms are pleasant to live in - they have style, the walls are white, the windows and the doors are glass, it all makes it a light and beautiful place. The first night in Tulum we stayed in a different hotel in the centre-and that was a very dark, smelly place.. So having public toilet in hotel is an advantage in Tulum! That's why we didn't even expect Coco to be such a bliss. 4) the chaise-longues are new and not torn as you may see it in other hotels on the beach if you take a leasurely stroll around. 5) Two welcome bottles of water are brought to the rooms every day. 6) They have tasty pizza. At first we booked only 7 days in Coco, rooms with the ocean view. It was great there and just 15-20 metres to the water, so at night when we were sitting at our patio having some drinks that was splendid. Then we decided to prolong our stay for another 6days,as there was nothing to compare with Coco, not in Tulum, not in Playa del Carmen or Cancun, cause those cities lack charm.

Review 112:Cant really say. Possibly toilets in all cabanas but it wasn't really an issue.

Review 113:We just returned from a weeks Honeymoon at Coco and it will be a place forever in our hearts. Not just because it was our holiday but for the professional and friendly staff. Beautiful cabanas with a perfect view. Clean and comfortable. I'd come every year if we could.

Review 114:Restaurant was average

Review 115:Coco Tulum was my favourite place on our whole Central American holiday. It's like a little paradise. Rooms are amazing and beds huge andcomfortable. I recommend a hut in the "beach zone". Locationis perfect and great views. Shared bathrooms are clean and beautiful.Loved it. Will be back if ever in Mexico again!

Review 116:- no aircon - no ventilation - no breakfast included although we had high roomrates - a lot of algea at the beach an wasn't removed

Review 117:- Cool shower at the beach - Good location at the beach

Review 118:Only two critiques of our Coco experience: our cabana was poorly ventilated, so we got extremely hot at night, which made sleep challenging. Other cabanas had high, small windows that could be left open, but our only option was to leave the front door open, and unlocked, all night to get fresh air in -- as two young women travelling alone we just didn't feel comfortable doing this. I would definitely return to Coco but I would request a different cabana. Second critique -- the pizzas in the restaurant are very good but much of the rest of the food is pretty average, and expensive. Go next door to Posada for breakfast.

Review 119:Coco Tulum is located on a stunning spot on the beach, which meant that we could roll out of bed and into the warm, green-blue sea in about 30 seconds. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the staff kept it impeccably clean...not an easy task considering that everyone was tracking sand everywhere! Walking up and down the beach, I didn't see a hotel that looked lovelier than Coco. The room itself was relatively spacious and the bed comfortable -- of course, not having the bathroom on-site was a mild inconvenience, but the bathrooms were kept very clean by the staff and I'm sure we didn't mind that the shared bathroom facility kept our room rate and carbon footprint down. The folks who work there are lovely people.

Review 120:The wind engine is too noisy.Should have a bigger pot for washing the feet or current water,as the bathroom. It is not clear the laundry schedule. The cocktails prices aren't shown in the menu. The rental of the bikes aren't for free.

Review 121:It's near to the beach. The Pizzeria!

Review 122:The whole of tulum is a little more expensive than anticipated, especially around the beach where coco is. You can ride bikes into town, about half an hour but in the heat it's not that easy! It would have been nice to offer some free activities at night, as there's not much else to do but eat and drink. Also when it's very windy the wind turbine sounds like a loud helicopter, quite alarming when you don't know what it is!

Review 123:Coco tulum is the perfect place to take a break from everything and relax. Beautiful beach and lounge area, staff were excellent and the room was absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a garden view on the second level and it was perfect.

Review 124:We were attacked by mostiquitoes in the restaurant resulting in approximately 25 bites in 20 minutes so I would recommend to buy a good anti mosquito product. The room had good mosquito net so it is ok there

Review 125:We had an amazing time in Coco Tulum with my cousin. Staying in a Cabin on the beach is truly an experience I recommend. The cabin is beautiful and clean, the bed looks like a honeymoon bed. We stayed at one of the cabin with a garden view but we were only a few steps away from the beach. Moreover the fact that we were in the middle of trees made, I believe, the room fresher that the ones with a beach view. The communal bathroom are decorated with a very good taste as well. The personal is very professional and friendly. There is also a very good restaurant next to it with very good breakfast option. Coco Tulum is a little paradise.

Review 126:nothing really.

Review 127:location, facilities, rooms, it was all perfect. It's right on the beautiful beach of Tulum, one of the worlds best beaches. It is really easygoing and relaxing. We didnt have a bathroom in the room so we used the shared bathroom which was perfect. Waterpower was good and it was very clean.

Review 128:there is no AC in cabañas (the hotel is eco friendly:))

Review 129:The place is perfect, you step out of your cabaña on sugary white sand, walk 10m to the beach where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sea from your hammock.

Review 130:The location is amazing. Extremely, extremely clean. Truly paradise! Food and restaurant staff both excellent. Reception staff always helpful. We looked at a lot of hotels before choosing this one but was definitely the right choice - relaxed but also high end, great vibe. Excellent place to get away from the world. Noteworthy: the bathrooms are shared / not inside your cabanas. Whilst they are extremely clean, it might not be everyone's preference to share, particularly if it means getting up in the night (we saw a few giant crabs and snakes etc on nocturnal trips to the toilet). Having said that, it wouldn't put me off booking again, because everything else was so idyllic!

Review 131:I'd prefer higher quality pillows.

Review 132:Loved the location. We had the cabana closest to the beach and the sea breeze kept us cool, even in July! It was a romantic and casual room with ocean views and a porch with hammock and chairs. We even had a sea turtle wake us up trying to lay eggs beside our porch in the middle of the night. The hotel was simple but very well thought out. The shared bathrooms were very clean and actually elegant. The hotel is run on mostly solar and wind so it is actually an eco-hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would totally stay here again and we recommend it completely. We stayed at another hotel down the beach that was double the price but we MUCH preferred Coco Tulum.

Review 133:Could have done with more shade by the beach I would have spent the whole day there is there was more.

Review 134:The staff were friendly and very helpful. Food and drinks were great as was ambiance in the restaurant. The section of beach the hotel sits at was one of the best having walked all along most days (very little seaweed). Rooms had privacy even though close together surrounded with plants. Would also recommend the tours to sian ka'an through mexicokantours enjoyed very much

Review 135:Coco is a beautiful hotel. Cabanas were amazing. Location right on the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect location. Close to everything.

Review 136:There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Review 137:Amazing staff, amazing location and services. Rooms were beautiful and super clean. Only thing I would change is to have stayed more time!
