Reviews for Pavilion Grand Hotel
Review 1:Wonderful stay!! Beautiful and spacious rooms that included so many extras not found in other hotels for the price... Wish our stay could have been longer!!
Review 2:Stayed there to get ready for our wedding and wedding night. Beautiful hotel. Everyone was very helpful and was congratulating us. They left us a card and bottle of wine in the room. The room was huge and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend!
Review 3:Listed above - smell
Review 4:Loved the atmospher, clean, by the room, quiet, comfortable, loved bar attatched to hotel & loved how walking distance to everything. Only complaint was smell. Smelled like paint fumes or something chemical?
Review 5:The small balcony overlooked the roof of the old bar/restaurant next door and there was a strong smell of garbage and old grease. Not pleasant to be outside on our balcony, even in the beautiful weather.
Review 6:The staff were welcoming and helpful and the suite was lovely. Central location was perfect for sightseeing around Saratoga Springs and within easy walking distance of many restaurants and shops.
Review 7:The property was comfortable, convenient, clean but the nicest thing of all was the staff! Everyone I dealt with went out of their way to make my stay pleasant . They were really helpful and very kind courteous and professional. I will definitely go back.
Review 8:The bathroom door couldn't close. Maintenance came quickly to fix but it happened again after he left. Hinges on door needed to be replaced. Front desk waved valet parking fees that I wasn't even aware I was being charge for but was a nice gesture.
Review 9:Nice place and staff is friendly.
Review 10:Stayed in penthouse suite. Loved the rooftop area! It was perfect for my daughters birthday party! The overnight accommodations were top notch. Luxury! Luxury! Luxury!
Review 11:Saturday night local bar closures resulted in a lot of loud street noise around 3:30-4:00 AM as patrons made their way to cars parked in the lot in front of the hotel.
Review 12:My husband and I had a lovely fall weekend stay. All aspects of our experience was good. Our room was spacious and well appointed with all the comforts of home. We especially enjoyed the easy access to Broadway and Saratoga shops and restaurants.
Review 13:The down side of being so close to downtown is there is quite a bit of noise from nearby bars & clubs. It can be a little noisy if you're trying to sleep or relax while they're open.
Review 14:Room was beautiful & staff was friendly & attentive. Convenient location to access bars, restaurants & shops in town.
Review 15:When I booked the room online it said the room would have a city view. We had no view, but an alleyway between the hotel and the Irish Pub next door.
Review 16:The hotel and room was extremely clean and staff was very accommodating.
Review 17:This was by far the best Hotel I've stayed at in Saratoga. The staff was very catering and kind. The room was clean and amazing. I was very pleased and excited to stay here again on my next trip to Saratoga
Review 18:Noisy street side, bars in thw area are very loud.
Review 19:Very comfortable bed and pillows! Nice downtown location. Beautiful, well stocked suite. Nice helpful staff. Wish we had more than one night to enjoy.
Review 20:Nothing
Review 21:Large suite with all the comforts of home including large living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer. Bed was extremely comfortable. We couldn't ask for anything better.
Review 22:The beds could be softer -- that's my only complaint. The breakfast at the hotel was okay, but nothing great.
Review 23:This hotel is a great location in Saratoga. The rooms are gigantic and were very clean. The staff at the hotel were very courteous and helpful.
Review 24:The balcony of my suite was so disappointing! It was totally covered by a roof, which prevented any sunshine. The view was almost depressing, as it faced a parking lot and very run-down old building. I paid extra for it; next time I wouldn't.
Review 25:Suites were very spacious, modern, and well-equipped. Location was walking distance from all the major downtown highlights. All staff was friendly and accommodating.
Review 26:Had such an amazing time over the weekend. We had a large group of people and having all the ammenities and large gathering space in the room made everything much less stressful. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful! Also, the room was BEAUTIFUL and in a prime location! Can't wait to go back sometime :)
Review 27:We stayed during July 4th weekend and there were some glitches, but management followed up and seemed concerned so no need to dwell.
Review 28:Two bedroom suite was beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable.
Review 29:Disappointed the "balcony" overlooked the back parking lot with nowhere to sit. Called ahead of time to request a nice balcony to celebrate anniversary weekend.
Review 30:Clean, high end finishes, large room.
Review 31:Impecable service, clean modern facility. For only a few dollars more than a standard room in a local motel we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with a small terrace.
Review 32:First class service from the minute you walk in!! It was my husband's birthday & they upgraded our room. They even sent a bottle of wine to our room later that night! We had a wonderful time!!! Can't wait to go back!
Review 33:Sadly, we were only at the hotel for one night but would have loved to have stayed a few days! Lovely hotel. Perfectly designed with great amenities. All new.!stayed in one of the 1 bedrooms with a terrace as a family of 3. Can't say enough good things,
Review 34:Everything was great, one small area for improvement would be a smiling registration person. She seemed a little overwhelmed, but I did arrive early and she got me a room propmtly.
Review 35:Room was spacious and clean. Facility is a great boutique hotel. Right in the heart of everything!
Review 36:I felt nickeled and dimed to death. No parking, no free wi-fi. The elevator was slow and while the hotel tries to give off a hip vibe, it's out of place in Saratoga.
Review 37:I found my short stay a huge disappointment. My $200 a night room had a glorious view of a parking lot and a bar. The staff was very accommodating and polite.
Review 38:The drop off/pickup area is very congested. No good place to park while checking in. Valet area very congested also. No place to park while using salon, unless you have paid for valet parking.
Review 39:the facility itself
Review 40:I loved the modern features and the open concept of the room. The room and facility were all well kept and maintained. The design of the hotel and the room were beautifully done. Great amenities and the staff was wonderful I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
Review 41:I was unable to connect my iPad to the wifi but had no problem connecting my macbook. Could have been user error!
Review 42:The Pavilion Hotel really has a boutique hotel feeling to it. The rooms are well decorated, comfortable and suites feature a full kitchen and in-room washer and dryer, a bonus if you have a longer stay. The staff was very friendly and professional. I recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again on my next trip.
Review 43:I honestly cannot think of one thing that was not exceptional.
Review 44:Our stay at the Grand Pavillion exceeded our expectations! The hotel was accommodating to every need and every request. The rooms were phenomenal and attention to detail, from their rooms, to amenities, to their guests is first class!
Review 45:Great people, polite and helpful. Great room, a lot more than expected, chic and without fuss at the same time. Everything was just perfect. Excellent restaurant and exceptional cuisine. Now one of our 2 or 3 favorite hotels in America and Europe.
Review 46:I checked the website to see what the gym facilities were like and found no mention of a gym at all. Slightly disappointed, we didn't pack our workout gear only to find out afterwards that there is a very small fitness center available.
Review 47:Very friendly and accommodating welcome from the front desk manager who read the note that it was our anniversary and gave us a complimentary room upgrade, a bottle of wine, and a restaurant coupon. Couldn't ask for a better first impression. Then the room was so beautiful and well-appointed that we felt absolutely spoiled. Even the studio size rooms looked very spacious so it seems to be a great value given the amenities.
Review 48:This was was our 2ond stay in Saratoga Springs. We wished to know this hotel already the first time. Perfect stay. Everything according and above our expectation.
Review 49:Would have been nice to have a proper kettle and milk in the fridge to make a decent cuppa !!!
Review 50:Very large and spacious 2 bedroom apartment - it had everything we needed !! The beds are comfortable and the living area was great to 'chill out' in. The staff were friendly. Would recommend
Review 51:The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. they never made up the sofa bed and never came back to clean our room all day Saturday. Disappointed massages not avail.
Review 52:Valet Parkers were excellent
Review 53:Fabulous gem of a hotel. Just off Main Street, first class accommodation very helpful staff, clean, wonderfully equipped suites. Possibly the best hotel of its kind I have ever stayed in. Stay here if you are in the area, dine at Mingles next door it's great too!
Review 54:This is an exceptional boutique hotel. Excellent staff, very accomodating. Wonderfully comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean and well equipped kitchen. Nice thick bathrobes to relax in after a hot shower. Well situated for downtown shopping and dining, when not preparing your dinner.
Review 55:When I booked, I got the impression that the rooms have balconies - I was wrong.
Review 56:The hotel is very conveniently located for my specific purpose which is to attend an event at the Saratoga City Centre - just a 5 minute walk away. Friendly staff; spacious room, nice view of the city.
Review 57:Need to air out new carpet smell some more
Review 58:Full kitchen, Washer and dryer, location Staff friendly and helpful, juice bar was great, restaurant on site excellent breakfast
Review 59:I didn't use any of the kitchen appliances, you should offer rooms without them, the rates are too high, will have second thougts about paying $988.00 for a 2 night stay.
Review 60:The location is very convenient, walking to stores and restaurants is a plus, room was comfortable, staff was very courteous.
Review 61:For a business traveler, it was odd not to have a desk in the room. Internet was troublesome, even at the premium level. Overall, staff was (as they say in the horse business) a little green. I think the gents at valet had their behinds spring loaded to their stool...but nothing that a little guidance from management couldn't fix. Probably wouldn't recommend to families with smaller children...the local music scene could be a problem at bedtime!
Review 62:Room was great. Very clean and nicely furnished. Staff was responsive to requests. Restaurant was unique and fresh. Location was perfect for me.
Review 63:that its so good will be hard to get a reservation next year
Review 64:the hotel was beautiful. the staff solo friendly and helpful the room was fantastic we almost didn't want to go out in town ammenties at hotel truly had u feel like on big time vacation loved the location 1min walk 2 main street
Review 65:Noise.Loud music from numerous nearby restaurants and bars was easily heard in the room, despite the windows being tightly shut. So, helpful would be if the hotel were to replace current windows with multi-paned ones, like those in a European hotel we recently visited, that were quite effective in shutting out street noise below.
Review 66:Spaciousness Cleanliness Design Washer and dryer Kitchenette
Review 67:Perfect location-- spacious, spotlessly clean room-- and an amazingly comfortable bed with great pillows! Also, we had a delicious breakfast in the hotel restaurant, and we are pretty particular about food. Loved it!
Review 68:No a/c air flow in bedroom, only open room. Entire unit smelled of chemicals... Fresh paint, etc. Needed airing out, but window open three inches. $12.50 Parking was waste mid week in June.
Review 69:New and Spotless. Locate ideal.
