Review 1：After spending a week in Cabanas Tulum, I am so glad that my husband and I stayed there and not anywhere else. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the location is great. It is right between two much more crowded and more expensive hotels but shares the same beach. We had a beautiful cabana facing the beach, and it was really nice to sit outside or rest in our private hammock looking out on the ways. The best way to describe the hotel is that is has exactly what you need and want and not the extra stuff which isn't worth paying for.

Huge bathrooms, great views, and each room has a little terrace with a hammock- very relaxing. Room was pretty basic but nice, everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast (and all the food) at Ziggy's was delicious!

Review 10：The pool is quite small - but as its low season when we visited it was quiet. I could imagine if the hotel is full it would be too crowded.

Review 11：The staff are wonderful, very helpful getting taxis for us and also laundry/ food/ anything we wanted. The included breakfast at Ziggys every morning is a highlight - a beautiful beachfront setting and delicious food. You get a meal, plus hot and cold drink including smoothies so it's very generous. You can even have the food delivered to your room or the pool for no extra charge. The cabanas themselves are cute and rustic.

Review 20：There was a wedding next door and I understand if they wanted to celebrate late into the night but the music was loud until early hours in the morning (4am) which made it hard to sleep when we planned to wake up early the next morning to start our activities. Breakfast was great at Ziggy but service was a little on the slow side.

Review 21：The location is perfect- the bartender, Ulysses at Ziggy Beach was awesome. Swings at the bar- how cute is that?!? Plenty of room on the beach to relax and enjoy the view. Had a hard time deciding to stay on the hammock, sofa bed or the swings on the beach. Breakfast also was delicious.

Review 52：The room gives new meaning to the word sparse. It contained a cement floor a bed and an open shelf book case which served as a dresser. White floors, whitewalls, white bed linens. It resembled a convent so I called it our Lady of the coconuts. After the first few days, we began to enjoy sparseness. A picture on the wall would really have helped, but the towels were clean and fresh and the linens were sparkling as well. We did not realize that the hotel next-door (which is its sister ) is adults only, so we ended up with small children on both sides of us in the duplex cabanas.?Since we are grandparents, this was fine with us, but I suspect others might want to know that this is the place where the kids stay.

Review 53：The location was absolutely fabulous. The staff are some of the best I have ever encountered. Our stay was one of the most relaxing vacations ever. We had a great breakfast every day at the Ziggy's beach restaurant which comes with the room. It is fabulous food. We loved sitting on our little porch late in the afternoons reading and looking at the ocean. You open our door, and you were right on one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. Ziggy'sbprovides beachside food and beverage service so we never had to even dress beyond bathing suits during the day. The front desk staff set us up with the tours we wanted and made every arrangement we needed. They also had good recommendations for dinners each night and were helpful in many ways. I would definitely go back here because by the end of the week we were as relaxed as a place we've ever stayed.

Review 54：Breakfast was included, but service and quality at Ziggy's was inconsistent - mostly good, but not excellent. This shouldn't be a deal breaker - the hotel is wonderful.

Review 56：Wifi is in the tiny lobby only, which has two uncomfortable chairs. The Beach Hotel concierge next door was kind to let us sit in their lobby to check email, which we needed to do. We didn't rent a car, and restaurants in walking distance are all expensive though good, and we longed for some simple, affordable food. Portions are generally large, though, so we started sharing entrees.

Review 57：We needed an r&r vacation, and this was the perfect spot. We stayed in an upstairs partial sea view room, which was simple, elegant, clean, and comfortable. The service was excellent and friendly, and a delicious breakfast at Ziggy's was included. Our feet were in the sand the whole time. We hope to return.

Hire car from Cancun but local roads can be a bit challenging. Took precautions so not troubled by mosquitos. Locals are really nice. Check out ruins at Cuba, Tulum and Cenote. Loved it!!!

Review 60：Whilst the Breakfast menu offers a great choice of local dishes, perhaps more variety of traditional breakfast fayre could be considered, cereal etc? Staff seemed to struggle with simple requests at breakfast!

Review 84：This place was amazing! The staff were exceptionally helpful. We were moved to the next door hotel but had full facilities of the cabanas. The breakfast is fab-so filling! Dinner is pricey but really worth it. The hotel is located on a beautiful beach. Lots if nice loungers. We also had the benefit of the pool during our stay, nice to get away from the sand and cool off! There was free wifi in the lobby and bar. This was great as we were booking a bit for our onward journey. The staff organised a few trips for us. Coba, cenotes and Eco park well worth visits. I can't comment on the actual rooms as we were in the hotel next door, however that room was perfect for the time we were there. There's not a lot in walking distance from the hotel bar the fab pizza place down the road. I would highly recommend this place.

Review 85：The hotel is in the process of renovating, which was very loud at times.Siesta's in our room were not possible, and we had to move to theother end of the beach to not be bothered by the noise of the hammersand saws. This was the one major issue during our trip.

Review 86：My husband and I spent a week at The Beach/Cabanas Tulum for ourhoneymoon. From start to finish, the staff were friendly andaccommodating. Our room was exactly what we expected, simple, yetcomfortable, with all of the specs we were looking for (ocean view,directly on the beach, comfortable bed and sitting area, and ajacuzzi tub, both in the bathroom and on our rooftop deck). An extrabonus was the pool, which was not initially a priority for us.However, the pool was clean, had a really fun, river like, design,and we enjoyed it daily.

One evening the WIFI was broken and front desk was very unhelpful about this and told us to go to another hotel, we did not appreciate her attitude about this as we were paying quite a lot to stay there. One reason we chose to stay at this hotel was their advertisement of free WIFI throughout property but in fact we did have to go to reception to get WIFI and could not use it from the room - and this was when it was working.

Review 117：Cabanas Tulum was the perfect choice for our girls trip! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, the staff was extremely friendly and the beaches were beautiful. The breakfast, included in our reservation, was delicious and generous. The hotel is located just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the small shopping district, and close enough to be very convenient. My friends and I agree, we will not only return to Tulum, we will definitely be staying at Cabanas Tulum!
