Review 1：The lady at reception on checkout was not very friendly. We asked to print a page for us and she was very unfriendly and abruptly stating the printer was not working.

Review 3：i went to check the breakfast, but there was nothing out at 7:30am, and no one was at the desk. Maybe it was already been eaten by others, but few cars were at hotel that night.
Review 4：Staff was friendly, room was clean, easy to find.
Review 5：None of the doors sealed properly. The 1st room they put me in had a 2" gap that you could see through. The 2nd, you could see daylight all the way around. I tolerated it for 1 night because I was tired.

Review 7：The room was comfortable and clean. Very quite rooms. The room was carpeted, but our socks stayed clean. The bathroom has been updated. They offer free breakfast and coffee, which is not bad. If your looking for a clean, comfy room on a budget, this is it. The owners are nice and helpful. Will stay here again.
Review 8：No real problems or complaints just a couple observations or recommendations. A clock and coffee maker would be nice in the room. Breakfast a bit slim but for the price, it's surprising they provide anything. Pool still closed but this could be a blessing because it keeps the noise level down.
Review 9：Great value, clean, quiet, large rooms, and very friendly staff. Small business that is family owned that try to make your stay enjoyable. Second year in a row I've stayed here over the 4th of July festival and I've come away satisfied and glad I chose National 9 each time.
Review 10：The people leaving bad reviews about the place. I paid less than $50with tax, and got a lot more than I expected at $50. All I would say is,if you're expecting the Hilton for $50 a night, with a white-gloveservice, hot extensive breakfast buffett, and room service, you arenever going to find it, but this hotel does come close!!!Also, one other thing I 'didn't like' was that Jay was a bit of chatter-box so keep that in mind when talking with him!!! ;)
Review 11：I found Jay, the owner, to be extremely helpful, friendly, andwelcoming.Good location in Roswell, close to restaurants and the centre of town. I found the hotel very clean, and the rooms in excellent condtion. I believe they are refurbishing the rooms 1-by-1 also. The room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was simple, and sufficient with cereal, juice, toast and some 'cooked' items. The Wi-Fi was perfect as well.
Review 12：The bathroom had nowhere to set things down. The sink was in the bathroom and there was a shelf in an alcove adjacent to the bathroom. The carpet seams were wearing, so that strings of plastic showed. The grout in the bathroom could have been cleaner. There was room for a small table and two chairs and no desk, but there was not a plug we could use for our computer while seated at the table.

Review 15：Shower was obviously plumbed in wrong, you got hot water before getting cold on a single lever valve - clearly opposite of general standards. Window tracks were very dirty and full of sand, and grout, and were not operable.
Review 16：This is a much older facility, and the current owners/managers are obviously trying to improve and upgrade. Some of the upgrades are decent, but some are not quite to standard. But I think it fair to acknowledge the clear effort being made.
Review 17：Motel didn't give too much extra time for checkout for a young child. Kept calling asking if we were done and we only went 30 minutes over the checkout time. Most places would not have an issue with that. Breakfast was cereal and toast.

Review 23：Our trip there was good! We had been driving for days and felt we needed to stop and stay awhile! So other than the attitudes of the staff both evening and morning, I must say that I had one heck of a comfy bed with fluffy pillows and the temperature of the room was also very good! The breakfast was same as most these days but only problem was we had to eat in the lobby! We couldn't take it from the lobby! So my boyfriend was unable to eat ad to he was taking a shower and getting ready so we could leave back on the road! I give it a 7
Review 24：The staff were not very hospitable. The bed was hard and linens were dingy. Room was freezing and it took the heater all night to warm it up.

Review 31：Room was clean and comfortable. The tile work in the bathroom was very impressive for a low-budget motel. There was a woman at the front desk who was apparently new. She seemed clueless when my card wouldn't open my door after I came back from a short trip, but the manager was quick to resolve the problem by replacing the batteries in the card reader/lock mechanism on the door.
Review 32：Everything was old. Plug in the bathroom didn't work so couldn't blow-dry hair in front of mirror. Toilet stopped up. Had to go to office & get a plunger ourselves & unplug toilet. Dressing room door was missing half a door & what door was there was covered in dust. No plug in the dressing room.

Review 34：This isn't really a negative, but the property is older and as a result, is somewhat quirky. Travellers who have an aversion to older motels may not appreciate the quirks (like my wife and daughter who complained vociferously).
Review 35：The price was reasonable for a room with 3 beds. We were visiting Roswell for alumni weekend at New Mexico Military Institute, so the location was outstanding. The room wasn't furnished with an iron but the staff quickly supplied one upon request
Review 36：The bathroom door didn't close and didn't fit in the door jam. It got stuck when i closed it and couldn't get out of the bathroom. Also cigaret burns on the comforters. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room.

Review 45：Old place, carpet really needs replacing. Outside really dirty smelled like dog poo. POOL OUT OF ORDER although they said they had a pool. Junk stacked up everywhere. Not a place for kids, doesn't seem safe with all the rusted stuff laying around.

Review 50：Breakfast a bit lame and not much room to eat. No coffee maker in room and pool was closed. Outside looked older and could be a turn-off, but the room was exceptional for the price and the family who owned the property were very nice.
