Reviews for Ferrinho

Review 1:They said they admitted animals, but at 23 hours they didn't allow our pet to sleep with us. The owner was very rude, and the floor of the room was covered with a carpet so you can not see the holes. A very disgusting place.

Review 2:The noise . 3 young children 2 rooms and the noise was horrendous. Had 2 hours sleep and we needed to drive 8 hours the next day. The noise didn't stop until 3am .

Review 3:A bed for the night. Breakfast was good and they were very helpful.

Review 4:Good location at the border of city center (5min walk uphill). Friendly staff.Rooms are very basic, but good value for money. To recommend for travelers who just need a bed and spend the day elsewhere.

Review 5:Very friendly staff. Ask them for advice on where to eat!

Review 6:The wifi doesnt work..

Review 12:Staff friendly. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Close to historic centre.

Review 13:Location , difficult to find and very quiet location

Review 14:The hotel is comfortable and good for hot weather.

Review 15:Large but very gloomy room Very thin walls... No hot water only look warm No lift No consideration- although requesting to avoid climbing stairs due to being elderly couple with walking difficulty, we got an upstairs room and were forced to climb there carrying our lagged even though they could have directed us to a door leading from the outside directly to the upper floor.

Review 16:Clean Convenient parking Decent breakfast

Review 17:If sauna would be available till at least 22 would be perfect (now it is till 19:30

Review 18:Fantastic place for relaxation and traveling calmly, located in fantastic calm and old town, where you can have a greate time till late! But the hotel is so interesting (like a castel) maybe you will not want to go from there :)

Review 19:Some work required on fixtures and fittings, but acceptable for stop-over

Review 20:Clean & comfortable bedding. Easy walk into town and easy to find. good value for money for a one night stop-over

Review 21:They were friendly and quite helpful. I was traveling with my small dog - which makes eating in a restaurant difficult in Portugal but they were able to arrange for me to do so at a nearby restaurant (which was also excellent!).

Review 22:Beds rather hard. Rather drab decor.

Review 23:Excellent value for a clean and well run small hotel. Basic breakfast but fresh. Great for a stop over - would stay here again.

Review 24:Good size rooms, very clean, easy parking. Good breakfast included. Short walk to the old town of Guarda where we were able to find a good restaurant.

Review 25:The weather! It got rather cold - 13 degrees in June!

Review 26:Guarda is in the centre of a beautiful part of Portugal - rolling hillsand mountains, varied countryside and a lot of ancient fortifiedvillages castles and other places of interest. The hotel Ferrinho wasstaffed by friendly and helpful people, kept very clean. Nothingextravagant, but all we needed.

Review 27:My prepaid reservation clearly stated two people, but when I arrivedthey insisted that I had only paid for a single. Had to fork over anadditional 20 euros. (Still fair value, but questionable.)

Review 28:Big rooms and good location.

Review 29:No air condition! In August it was very hot 28-30 degrees. I think that the room wasn't used for long time because I find wool bedcover!! Unconfortable bed! Poor breakfast (no buffet)

Review 30:The downside to this quiet location is that while as the crow flies the hotel is not far from the tourist area it is actually quite a hike to get there due to the street layout on the mountainside.

Review 31:The staff was very friendly, and the hotel is set in a quiet spot a little outside the centre. Good parking facilities and breakfast, nice views from most of the rooms.

Review 32:Quiet location and we slept well. Double bed was two singles together(seems common in Portugal) but view from the hotel was nice and thestaff were very cheerful and happy to help.

Review 33:The forniture needs to be renovated.

Review 34:Friendly staff, very good breakfast, free wi-fi, quite good location. Good value for money. Ideal for stop over the night.

Review 35:They charged us before we arrived, the room was clean but last renovated in the late 50', there was no elevator and the place is an old family house hard to find and fur from the center. Breakfast was ok but Nothing special. There was no hot water but we ware told we should have asked for it (!!!)

Review 36:Free parking and Internet

Review 37:not really modern standard, clean and ok, but the charme of the 70s still there. Hotelbar too expensive copared to regional prices

Review 41:it's quite noisy, when we were there were not many guests but could hear everything from downstairs.

Review 42:Clean room, nice people and Free Wifi. Although a bit oldfashioned it has great character with long hallways, spacious rooms and comfy beds. Although basic, nice that breakfast is included. Also good secure parking.

Review 43:Trivial but no tea/coffee making facilites in the room .

Review 44:Although basic, the hotel was very clean, warm and our room comfy. [Itwas only 4 degrees and snowing when we arrived] It was also quiet. Theowner was very welcoming and extremely helpful. We stayed with our dogin January, en route to Portugal. There was free wifi and breakfast wasincluded in the price. I would stay here again
