Reviews for Hotel at the Rocks

Review 1：My only complaint was that our showers were only luke warm and had low pressure. The staff did try to fix this but it seemed to only help for a few hours.

Review 2：Bikes are available free to guests, this was great for exploring ngapali. The hotel is away from the town, but this meant that the location was nice and quiet. There were also some good restaurants within easy walking distance.

Review 3：It is a bit expensive in comparison with accomodation prices in Myanmar, but it is similar than other hotels in Ngapali beach. Beach was full of rocks, that is a bit uncomfortable, but also there were lot of trash on the sand so we had to move to another beach.

Review 4：Room was fantastic, really comfortable. Staff was also nice but they spoke little english. This hotel is very close to the airport (5 minutes). At the time we stayed there, they were building a swimming pool.

Review 5：Not possible to pay with master or visacard but we knew it in advance.

Review 6：We had a very nice stay in this hotel. The manager did everything to make our stay comforable. The Wifi was not always 100% but he gave us the possibility to use another server via his phone who worked perfectly. Staff was very friendly and we could use bicycles for free to go to the center. Beach was very quiet and peaceful.

Review 7：The hotel was very close to the airport but some distance from other resorts and restaurants. We were able bike to the restaurants but it was about a 20-30 minute trek. WiFi was advertised but internet was slow to non-existent for most of our stay. We were told that the internet was poor all over because of poor connections from Yangon. We experienced similar issues in Bagan.

Review 8：The room was large and very comfortable. Free use of bicycles. The servers in the restaurant were very attentive. The reception staff was wonderful. One of the staff even traveled on the shuttle with us to the airport to assist us with check in. We felt like VIPs

Review 9：No creditcard payments possible. Although I do know Myanmar has only recently been connected to the international cc networks I find it remarkable that this resort does not offer it where about all other hotels we visited in Myanmar did. Especially in the 100% tourist zone Ngpali this has to be changed asap.

Review 11：Shuttle bus didn't arrive. Breakfast Bar closing at 10. We had one drink and when we tried to order another were told bar was closed. Ngapali- just not our type of place.

Review 14：Clean sea, very quite, few people, big sandy beach. Very helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Perfect for some relaxing days at the beach.

Review 15：if you want to have a drink of something to eat at the hotel it is very expensive. a taxi to the town is also expensive and it is a bit far from the town where all the restaurants are.
