Review 1：The property is a bit dated, but it's not a big deal.

Review 27：1 night stay on route from Santander to Portugal. Could not fault it - we even met The President of Portugal & his Staff in June. Will definitely stay again.

Review 28：Took 30 mins to get a lager at the bar, they had run out of bottled and hadn't replaced the barrel which then took them ages to sort out. Bar staff are in the back room so had to get reception to call them!

The air barely came out of the vent even though we had it in the highest speed, so 2 hours after we went to bed we woke up covered in sweet and had to open the balcony door. Thankfully it was a cool night and we slept ok. Other details: the light is not good for reading in the bedroom and the mattress was a bit too hard.

Review 116：The hotel was exactly as described in other reviews. I was very happy I chose to stay there. The hotel is perfect for a trip between Spain and Portugal, but I discovered it is superb for nature and hiking as well. The staff is superb-from Housekeeping to the front desk! The parking is easy and safe. The breakfast was excellent, with local cheeses and organic jams as well as a light section for people watching their weight.

Review 120：My partner and I were driving back from our place in the Algarve to Jersey and we decided to have an "overnight" in Portugal before crossing the border into Spain, as we prefer Portuguese food, wine, and culture. The Lusitania Hotel was absolutely perfect for what we wanted, and we decided to stay an extra night to take it easy before the long haul back to St Malo to get the ferry connection to Jersey. We had a leisurely breakfast then spent the morning relaxing by the pool - later we drove into Guarda (5 mins) to have a long lunch at a typical Portuguese restaurant. The staff at the hotel all spoke English (even though we speak Portuguese) and could not do enough for you. We had an early breakfast the next morning before heading off through Spain. The breakfast buffet was very good. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant apart from that as we prefer to go out.
