Review 1：There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like about this hotel.....it was a little difficult to find in the dark but that was about it!

Review 4：Kasteel Wurfeld was easy to book & even request a late check-in. The accommodations were perfect for our family of 4. Breakfast buffet was incredible! The staff were at attentive & friendly. Will stay again if possible!

Review 5：No airco, Windows not opening properly. Cleaning of room after ons nights was poor. Breakfast could be beter no fresh vegtables and à lot of flies flying around.

Review 13：We were in a superior room in the annex which was unattractive : cold tiled floors, no carpets, ugly modern furniture. Box for kleenex tissues in the bathroom was empty. Breakfast was average : limited choice, dry scrambled eggs were inedible, but the bread, croissants and rolls were really delicious.

Review 39：The hotel is extremely characterful, resembling a fairytale castle, and set in glorious countryside. The grounds are pleasant and would be even more enjoyable in better weather. The room was large and beds very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the toiletries were plentiful and good. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

Review 40：Very expesive price for food, drings, and at least room rate. In room missing air condition, Tv was from 80' years, mini bar was empty, big water leakage in toilets in my room 201, I inform the fron desk, but nobody repair during my two days staing. So for me to staying here was very poor, and I do not recoment it for anybody.

Review 42：The rooms were very very hot - much hotter than the air outside. We had to keep the flyscreens shut otherwise the mosquitoes would have been a problem. This is the main reason for marking down on comfort - if you can't get a good night's sleep, then that is a big drawback. Check-in was unprofessional.

Review 44：Minor points only :No kettle/tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast is in a conservatory type extension and window seats are uncomfortable in the summer sun. Don't try to sit at a table that has already been set for dinner (??) - you will be moved.

There was a deal on at the time we booked which made this hotelfantastic value - it was an excellent room with a big bathroom. We endedup spending 4 days here and had a very relaxing stay.The location was superb for cycling and Maaseik is close by where you can get whatever you need. The hotel rents out good cycles at reasonable rates. With regards to day trips in the car I would definitely recommend Maastricht, worth seeing and doesn't take too long to get there and back. We went to Liege also but were rather disappointed.

Review 48：The surrounding countryside is very charming. Our room was very spacious and included a whirlpool bath that we were more than happy to make use of, the staff were also very helpful and friendly. Waking up to the sound of birds singing also helped get our day off on a good foot.
