Reviews for Frisco Inn on Galena

Review 1:Great people. Very helpful with the area knowledge and everything was as suggested on the web site. Would recommend to everyone. Thanks for the great vacation :)

Review 2:I really enjoyed the happy hour and the free food and drink that was given during the event. This was the first bed-and-breakfast I have stayed at and I loved everything about it. The staff was kind and helpful, the room was clean, the food was delicious, and it had cozy lodge like atmosphere.

Review 3:That we couldn't roll out of bed early enough to enjoy the complimentary breakfast.

Review 4:Room was cozy. The hot tub was an extra bonus. The staff made our trip fabulous. We really enjoyed the complimentary wine and snacks for happy hour. We were in walking distance to restaurants, shops and a museum. Our stay was storybook perfect, with a sleigh ride in the snow, community bonfire and fireworks!

Review 5:Couldn't figure out how to turn the sauna on. (could have asked i'm sure)

Review 6:coziness, included breakfast and happy hour, great hot tub, fireplace with movies and books to choose from

Review 7:The only thing I could say is that a laundry room of some sort would be the icing on the cake. Very small issue in the grand scheme, but worth putting something.

Review 8:You can tell that the owner and staff at Frisco Inn have listened to their guests and made great strides to provide a home away from home feeling at the Inn. They covered so many of the little things you look for during a trip and it was all perfect for our week long ski trip. Great homemade breakfast, a nice happy hour to come back from the mountain to, a peaceful hot tub and sauna to wind down after a day of skiing, a cozy fireplace and living room/study area. There were so many things that made this place great, plus it felt like your own as it wasn't a huge hotel. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Review 9:Excellent location for the purpose of our trip. Staff was very friendly. Loved the happy hour with the young pianist (Ethan?) who was excellent. Interesting how no-one but us tipped him. Option for chef prepared dinner price was in line with eating out at a nice restaurant and the food was delicious. Dont forget to tip in cash, these hard workers deserve it. Would recommend this place. Note: you can hear others taking showers, etc. But not sure if there any places you cant. Also heat is controlled from the front desk so be sure to let them know to turn it down at night.

Review 10:The owner/manager was rude when we first arrived. It really set a bad tone for the stay. Also, our room was freezing. We had to call them that night to bump the heat up in our room because they had it on 68. There's no way to control it in our room. The space heater took awhile to warm it up too.

Review 11:The rooms were clean and the food was good. We especially liked the breakfast the next morning.

Review 12:We stayed in the king room with the bay windows at the end of the hall. It was adorable, cozy, and clean, and the service was excellent. Also nice being so close to copper mountain with a gourmet breakfast before and hot tub awaiting us after!

Review 13:It is the MOST comfortable and the staff and Owners are fabulous. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy. It was our 4th visit and we'll go back again in March/April for Spring skiing. Favorite place EVER!

Review 14:no air conditioning, but it was hot for sleeping and only a very noisy fan was provided. We could not figure how how to work TV to get normal and not obscure channels. Coffee was very weak and watery for us caffeine lovers.

Review 15:great location, nice fire pit, deck, and hot tub. beautiful flowers and nice, non-corporate management.

Review 16:The staff at the Frisco inn on Galena are so friendly and out going, they made our trip so much better with all of their suggestions and information. We would definitely stay at this inn again. The Frisco inn is more like a bed & breakfast nice and cozy with a great ambiance. We enjoyed the Breakfast Thank you Bruce and Staff. sincerely Steven & Jean

Review 17:What didn't we like? That we could not stay longer. :-) Wonderful stay!!!

Review 18:The Staff Team is exceptional...as in everyone associated with the inn.

Review 19:The service was above excellent and everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was over the top and we were able to get vegetarian meals. The location is perfect for walking to shops and local stores. Also, this is a short drive to many ski resorts. Inn has wonderful reading library and game and exercise room as well as hot tub and sauna. Front porch is great for relaxing around the outdoor fireplace.

Review 20:Owner was really great and had some great suggestions of places to go see/do! I really llike that the hotel is family run and a personable place. Free bikes and helmets to use!

Review 21:The Inn is attractive, extremely well-run, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the chef, Giuseppe, turns out excellent meals. I couldn't find anything not to like! I will definitely be back.

Review 22:Nothing to complain about...

Review 23:I loved everything... the facility, the kindest of the Staff ....Bruce and other members of the team...Fiorela lovely young lady The food... Chef Giuseppe and his wonderful family Carmela, Ilanna and Vito Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful... Always feeling Welcome! Excellent I would definitively go back there !!!

Review 24:Breakfast was midland. Could be better but since it's free, can't complain too much.

Review 25:Friendly staff, cute reading / fireplace area in the lobby, cozy room, great location.

Review 26:I wanted to get in the hot tub but the water seemed low and not super hot, also the sauna wasn't available. Not a big deal, I didn't even address it to the staff.

Review 27:The whole place was peaceful and quiet. I liked how clean everything was and the staff was reserved but friendly. Breakfast was outstanding, made to order. I would definitely come back.

Review 28:Nothing

Review 29:Super friendly staff!! Terrific location for numerous ski resorts, lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Comfortable beds and great shower pressure. Good breakfast with lattes to order!

Review 30:sauna was broke down on our visit

Review 31:Very nice accommodations, friendly staff who were willing to do what ever to make our stay nice and comfortable. Loved the place

Review 32:Very nice, cozy atmosphere, good breakfast with espresso, happy hour in the afternoon, clean rooms, nice young staff. Sauna and jacuzzi always ready. Close to many good ski resorts and a couple of good restaurants in town.

Review 33:Unfortunately, the ceiling/floor above squeaked every time somebody moved--which seemed to be a lot. So, the room was probably noisier than a second floor equivalent. Minor points would be: the room was advertised as having a sitting area and 360 degree mountain views. Sitting area is debatable, I suppose, but the views were mostly of the neighboring garages, apartments, and condos. Way over priced for what was advertised.

Review 34:On its own, the room was nice, as were the facilities and staff. The location in Frisco was good as well.

Review 35:Loved the feel of the hotel, loved the staff and loved the cocktail hour and breakfast! The rooms were very clean, well lit, comfortable and we had amazing mountain views! Perfect place for a mini ski vacation or get-away!

Review 36:Some driving to any sji resort. Prices were higher than usual due to the Alpine worls chapmpionships in Vail.

Review 37:great staff and very good facilities. Everything on the level of what you usually expect in a luxury hotel

Review 38:The Manager. I think his name was "Zack". He was the nicest, genuine and helpful person I've ever had the opportunity to interact with at any hotel . Including the 4-Seasons and the Ritz Carlton. I only wished we could have stayed longer.

Review 39:I liked all of the extras and amenities. From the happy hour appetizers to the superb breakfast with blueberry pancakes. This place was top notch in my book. Both my friend and I will be back soon.

Review 40:Flags flapping in the wind outside the room.

Review 41:Made to order breakfast. Boot dryer and ski storage. Close to Frisco Main St. Central location in Summit County

Review 42:- Friendly staff - Great accommodations - Great location in Frisco, CO - Easy access to bus transit system - Close to several quality restaurants right on Main Street - Better than staying on the mountain - Quality breakfast and happy hour

Review 43:I can't mark them negative on anything - really!!! I will definitely be back!

Review 44:Very cozy and clean, excellent, friendly staff, very comfortable beds and excellent homemade breakfast

Review 45:The room was blissful- cozy and quiet- until guests returned to their room which was above/adjoining.. I could hear laughing, conversation, bumping and banking for such a long time! I finally had to turn the TV on to try to drown out the noise.

Review 46:The staff was very friendly and willing to help. Cozy and a great view.

Review 47:We had to leave.

Review 48:It might be called the Frisco Inn but this is really a fantastic B&B. Great room, common area with fireplace and gourmet breakfast. Hors d'oeuvre and wine in the evening. Great location just a few block off I-70.

Review 49:Nothing.

Review 50:Really clean and stuff is so friendly. When we stay there big snow storm hit and stuff really help everone to take their car out. Its walking distance from main street all the restaurants.

Review 51:The only problem we had was connecting to wifi. Every 5 minutes it would disconnect us and we would have to reconnect.

Review 52:My husband and I jad a wonderful stay. Everyone on staff was so friendly, and they really went out of their way to make the guesta happy! We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to all our friends.

Review 53:Cozy house with hot tub and sauna.Homy feeling with fireplace, nice rooms with comfortable beds .Love happy hours , with wine ,cheese , warm soup...coffee and tea and fruits always available .Hot breakfast prepared for you by a nice young staff . Highly recommended place with a soul

Review 54:Clean and comfortable. The wine and cheese happy hour in the evenings was a nice touch. The breakfasts were yummy. The location was perfect. It was only a short drive to Breckenridge, Vail, or Denver.

Review 55:We have stayed in this place twice. It is a little noisy.

Review 56:This place is top of the line. The attentiveness of the staff is way over the top. One typically does not see this intensity of attention to your every need in the US. It felt as if we were in Europe. The happy hour is a lot of fun and the breakfast was amazing.

Review 57:The operation of the TV was confusing.

Review 58:Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, yet cozy. Enjoyed relaxing on the patio with the free wine & snacks. The hot breakfast was great!

Review 59:Staff bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. There wss nice happy hour with wine and cheese. A bonfire was available in the evening and also a hot tub. Breakfast was tasty snd well prepared. If I am ever back in the area I will be sure to go there.

Review 60:Room was comfortable, however, lighting was poor - not good enough to read by. Needed two nightstands but only one was provided. Windows did not block out light, extremely bright in the early AM. TV was very difficult to operate.

Review 61:Location was great to walk to anyplace in downtown Frisco. Nice comfortable and homey atmosphere. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast and afternoon wine was great.

Review 62:Unfortunately, the property next door was repaving its parking lot, and the workers started making quite a lot of noise by 7am. It wouldn't have been quite so noticeable (maybe), but our window was open--and it had to be because the room was so hot that was the only way we could get any air. The standalone fan in the room only helped a little, and it was so loud that it almost wasn't worth using it. The noise and heat in the room definitely affected the quality of our sleep, which is a bummer. Other than that, no complaints at all.

Review 63:We loved that we could walk to restaurants, borrow bikes (for free!) to explore the area, borrow DVDs and books, and chat with other visitors at breakfast and happy hour. The deck and living room are nice bonus spaces where you can enjoy the inn without being in your room. Makes it feel more like you're in a house, but you still have the privacy of your own room. It's not as small as B&Bs we've stayed at before, which was nice because we really felt like we had our own space. And the staff was super friendly and helpful. They really made the inn feel like home away from home.

Review 64:Too many fancy pillows on the bed. When we stay here again I'll bring my own

Review 65:The food was great in the morning, and there was fresh baked cookies in the cookie jar each day! We definitely took advantage of hot tub especially after a long day of mountain activities. The staff was friendly and always around if you needed them

Review 66:Everything

Review 67:Loved the ambiance! Great happy hour, delicious breakfast. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Will be back!

Review 68:Staff pleasant, gracious, fun

Review 69:Rooms were comfortable but not soundproof.

Review 70:Service & staff friendliness

Review 71:Off main street (calmer, quieter, free parking) but close to downtown (easy shopping and eating)

Review 72:like the friendliness--the outdoors of the property and the inside

Review 73:Everything was great.
