Reviews for Köprücü Hotel

Review 1:Wifi cut out often, but staff were helpful in fixing it. Air conditioning blowing straight on to head of bed and rattling.

Review 2:Staff were very helpful and hospitable, and responsive to our needs. Great location in the center and close to the old city wall. Breakfast was good. Rooms were decent and clean.

Review 3:Hava serindi, klimayi calistirayim, isinayim dedim, kumandayi bulamadim. Personele sordugumda kumandayi kaldirdik dediler. Acikcasi bunu tuhaf karsiladim. Banyoda ust kattan su damliyordu.

Review 4:Yeri guzel, merkezde. Wifi acisindan sorun yasamadim, iyiydi.

Review 5:They donnot speak english..

Review 6:It is in the middle of the centre. Walking distance to all the things wich are important in Diyabakir. Room is oke, also clean. Breakfast, there is everything you need.

Review 7:The pillows were quite lumpy, and one of the blankets was really rough and uncomfortable. (Fortunately there was a spare blanket in the room, but we had to live with the pillows.)

Review 8:The value of this place was fantastic. Our room was a generous size, it was very clean, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was your typical basic Turkish fare, but good.

Review 9:Be warned that the staff don't speak English. The "24-hour reception" is a bit of a stretch: I arrived at around 4:00am to a locked front door, and had to call the on-duty employee to be let in.

Review 10:This is basically what a budget hotel should be - clean, airy, and without too much chipped paint.

Review 11:No elevators. Chink under the door, so poor sound isolation.

Review 12:Excellent location in the old city. Nice Turkish breakfast (eat as much as you can). Fast wi-fi. Great value for money.

Review 13:Nothing

Review 14:Clean, friendly, comfy and top location. Very quiet room. Superb value and well worth it's rating on booking.com. Manager got one of the staff to walk me and pull my suitcase to dolmus stop and lift my bag on to it for journey to rail station. Hat's off. They even made me turkish coffee at breakfast.

Review 15:staff speaking only Turkish..they forgot to gave us back our passports when leaving (almost missed our flight!) the air conditioning/heater in the room is really noisy and full of dust. In the morning there was no water nor electricty fur unknown reasons.

Review 16:breakfast (but milk missing), well located near Dag kapisi ( terminal of buses, access to old town)

Review 17:No emergency exits View not nice No English spoken at the reception Some areas of old Diyakbakir are not safe, even in day-time Stay at the main roads and inquire where not to go at the nearby tourist office.

Review 18:Friendly staff Nice and large room Good breakfast Location in old town

Review 19:The hotel was spotless, room basic but comfortable and staff very amenable (they gave us a new room without hesitation when we pointed out lumps in the mattress) Breakfast was basic Turkish fare but nevertheless delicious! This is great value for money.

Review 20:Opening our window caused a terrible smell. We had the impression that we could have received a better room with more daylight and a view, since there weren't so much hotel guests at the time of our visit.

Review 21:Within Diyarbakir for sure price/quality one of the best hotels. Great staff.

Review 22:The internet connection on the 2nd floor was very bad. We had to come near to the door to get any connection. The air conditioning was apparently dying out - it took several hours to cool the room. I assume we just had a bad luck.

Review 23:It is either a new hotel or recently renovated - furnishing and equipment were new. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 24:No elevator if it was required. Parking is awkward and a little difficult to find the hotel street.

Review 52:Asked for non smoking room, and the room was drenched in an air deodorant that mostly went away with open windows to reveal the tobacco smell. Matress was worn out.

Review 53:Great location, management tried to be helpful and provided travel information. They spoke enough English to accomplish services. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was above average.

Review 54:No lift.

Review 55:Perfect location near the Dağ Kapı (Mountain Gate) and walls, buses on Kibris Cad. and the old city. Arrived early in Diyarbakir (9am) by taxi from the airport arranged by the hotel, and the room was available and welcoming. The attractive and peaceful Nebi Camii was just across the street.

Review 56:Wifi did not work. And Diyarbakir can be a bit dangerous if you don't know the way. A friend of mine got robbed after 5 hours in Diyarbakir.

Review 57:Very friendly staff. Hotel is renovated and lookes very clean.

Review 58:WiFi could be more stable, but it was definitely sufficient.

Review 59:The place is so clean, you could eat from the floors. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel is located just a few minutes from everything you might want to visit. I didn't try the breakfast as I was eating out with friends, but it certainly looked fine. The hotel also has an emergency power supply since blackouts are quite frequent in Turkey.
