Review 1：Some of the decor was a little too rustic and the bed wasn't particularly comfortable.

Review 2：The hotel has a homey, personal feel, not at all like a gargantuan, anonymous chain.

Review 3：Our room is quite small. The window faces the street so we can hear everything happening outside.

Review 7：I never give reviews this good, but everything about the hotel was perfect. That said, I like places that aren't immaculate and have some charm. If you want a five-star hotel like the Four Seasons, go there, but for me, this is the perfect mountain experience that reminds me so much of Alpine lodges in Austria.

GLASS PLATES, GLASSES, HOME-COOKED ITEMS ACTUALLY SERVED TO YOU, FRESH SQUEEZED OJ. IT HAD IT ALL!! ADD TO THAT, DELICIOUS COFFEE, HOT CHOCOLATE, FRESH WATER AND TEA ALL DAY LONG! AND FRESH COOKIES AT 3:00! A TRUE TOUCH OF HOME!!!

Review 10：100 dollar incidental charge was a pending charge but still taken from account, resulting in an embarrassing moment at a restaurant when my card wouldn't work. Not a huge deal but they didn't tell me it would be taken from account when checking in.

Review 14：This is an older hotel which goes back 50 years. However the family that owns the chalet has changed it over the years and it is quite charming with an excellent location and parking garage. But best of all Is the included breakfast - ours was bacon, blueberry pancakes and scrambled eggs complete with fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, oatmeal and coffee plus more choices. Enough said.

It was like staying at your favorite aunt's house. Coffee and cookies in the afternoon is a charming tradition. Rooms are clean and comfortable and have everything you need.

Review 23：The front desk staff couldn't have been nicer. We were having car problems and had to park where a tow truck could get to our car and he assisted us with this. Very friendly and helpful.

Review 26：room 204 is located right outside the Aspen bus depot. The air conditioning unit in the room sounds like a jet engine so the only way to sleep is to leave the windows open to allow draft to come in which then expose you to all the noise coming from the bus depot in the road outside .
